Soggy undersized French fries served in a soda cup.
Bryce P.

Placed quite a large order. In this order there was supposed to be one large fry & one regular fry. What I received was a joke. I got a soda cup half full of soggy moist fries because they placed a lid on it. Why would you put French fries in a cup with a lid that doesn't vent? It's a joke & to receive maybe 15 fries for a $15 upcharge on combos. In fact I'd be willing to go as far as saying that it's unacceptable. I want my money back & I will be calling in tomorrow.

The food was absolutely fantastic, one of, if not my favorite sandwiches I have ever had. I liked the way that they did the ordering, rather than the tedious "pick your toppings" that sandwich places usually have, you get to choose on a list on the bag itself. The place was clean, the atmosphere was nice, the people were on time and quick, but they don't like talking too much don't they?

Courtney's Cookie

I just ate a cookie from there and it tasted off so I looked at the expiration date and it read 12/23/21. I Just ordered an hour ago... Update: feel like I'm getting sick now

Is good when it's good. Employees are a mix of absent minded to somewhat nice to nice. Make sure if you order a sandwich to write the order as though they're kindergarten drop outs. It's very inconsistent. But when made right it's really good. Onions are often cut like thick potato chips or a thin slice of an orange. Very weird.

Ultimate BLT
Ashley F.

I was so excited to try a new sandwich shop which which, it looked so promising to my coworker and I. The employees were so nice but my sandwich was a disappointment sadly. I order an ultimate BLT no mayo and I bite into my sandwich FULL OF MAYO! I turned around to see if they could change it but I only had 10 minutes left on my break. I had to go to my job a wipe the mayo out of sandwich and it sucked.. This was my first experience and I'm not sure if I want to go back.

Order by checking off the boxes so you get your perfect "wich."

We saw this cute lil sandwich shop while driving through Lakewood, and had to stop in. Their ordering system is simple; look at the sandwich choices on the board near the register and note the sandwich numbers, then go to the nearby tables and find your sandwich number, and pull a sandwich bag from the display, then check off the ingredients to create your ideal wich. Your wich is then delivered to you on the same bag, thus reducing waste. My wich was expertly prepared with amazing delectable wheat bread with just the right amount of crunch (can get a bit messy). Loaded up with avocado, mushrooms, and spinach, and served hot. All of their wiches are served warm or hot. I wasn't sure how a warm avocado sandwich would go over with me, but count me as a new convert!

Code for free sandwich that Kim made a fuss about.

The Manager 'Kim' is a super rude super sulky angry woman. It's typical but did not affect my interaction and purchases. I had a coupon this time that needed to be redeemed by clicking a button saying REDEEM rather than the usual barcode for customers.l on my iPhone. Apparently it did not show up on the computer automatically. She yelled at the poor guy taking the order and told me it shouldn't be that way. She was so angry and upset about a coupon that worked differently and had to be Entered in with a second QR bar code! What extraordinary display of childish behavior from her and tantrums. Wish I had recorded it Her other sandwich makers colleagues were super decent and apologized to me profusely for her shameless behavior. I really think she should be fired right away or they will lose customers. Not acceptable.

Based on the other reviews, recommending a hot sandwich or panini instead of the cold sandwich…read more described as dry and boring for the price--I think I coulda offered more stars had I gone that route. The staff was super nice and efficient but the sandwich was meh At the time I arrived they were already putting the chairs away because they were closing in a few, so I made a rushed decision: The Aspen Buddha (Turkey Swiss Curry Aioli Sunflower Seeds Lettuce Tomatoes Sprouts Banana Peppers Cucumbers). In my mind I was making a "healthy choice" but in reality I felt like I was about to eat a loaf of bread. I thought it seemed silly to pay only $2 less for a half a sandwich so I ordered the whole but then shamefully threw away most of the bread and ate only the innards which were also pretty boring. Even though I'm trying to keep my carb intake in check--I'm fully capable of for example enjoying a whole loaf of challah in one sitting if inspired but this wheat loaf did not inspire those kind of urges. As for the rest of the sandwich, it could have really used more curry aioli or something because I don't think I tasted that at all. If was ever forced to eat this same sandwich again I might ask for a side of vinaigrette, giardiniera, avocado. Something. The people were right: this was a dry sandwich. The reason I was even in Golden is because I wanted to test the feasibility of taking the W line to the Golden government center that is 2 miles from downtown and then riding my bike to have a picnic by Clear Creek. Turns out that yes, this is great with the understanding that the bike ride back to the light rail is way more intense when heading back to Denver. All uphill on my single speed! Without the Aspen Buddha, since it was 95 degrees or so I might have died had I not eaten/rehydrated. I am thankful for that. Also thankful for the life lesson about bringing my own picnic so I only have myself to complain to next time.

It took about 5 minutes for us to be greeted by anyone working; there were two employees working behind the counter, both were busy making sandwiches. Eventually one let us know it was going to be a few more minutes before they could take our order, to which I didn't mind - I recognize it takes time to make sandwiches. We waited for a bit (probably ~10 minutes), and then decided to place an order with them online and continue walking around while we waited. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be ready, so maybe this is the best way to go about ordering so you're not just standing around. To clarify, I didn't mind waiting but it also made sense to place the order and then walk around while waiting. I ordered the North of I70 Italian sandwich, and indicated that I wanted mayo, mustard and oil + vinegar. My wife ordered the sweet baby turkey, and also asked for mayo and salt + pepper. Neither of our sandwiches had any condiments on them (pic included). Each sandwich cost $20, and while I realize that the price of good deli meat has gone up, it was definitely a bummer to not have exactly what we ordered on a sandwich that costs so much - $40+ for 2 standard size sandwiches. The other thing to note is that the mushrooms are not fresh - also included a pic of the mushrooms which I assume come from a can/jar. Had I known the mushrooms were not fresh, I would not have ordered them. I was really rooting for this place to be good, but was overall disappointed in the experience and outcome of our order.

There's a couple tables 'cause the wings are best eaten fresh and hot. There were 2 guys working and finishing a carry out and delivery order but they were friendly and told us they'd be right out. We ordered 24 wings for 3 of us. Just the right amount as the wings are pretty meaty and good sized. We actually had a couple leftover to take home. We tried the boss sauce and buffalo hot. We liked that combination. The french fried were nice and crispy rippled ones. The employee also offered to let us try two kinds of ranch sauces, one individually pre-packaged and one they had poured into a cup. There's a water dispenser that you can get your own water. They also have a free video game that is fun to play while you're waiting for the wings to come out. They are a Rochester NY outfit, a tiny different than our favorite Buffalo NY wings, but we are happy to support them again in the future. Gotta remember the cash discount next time.

Coming from an Italian family, I am well versed in Italian sandwiches. Carmine Lornardo's the real deal! We ordered the 24" Carmine Italian. Every bite was as good as the last. My dad struck up a conversation with Carmine, who was working behind the counter as he does every day, just as his dad (according to him). We sat down at one of the 4 tables to enjoy our sandwich which was pre split for us. As we were finishing up and the lunch crowd was slowing a bit but was still steady, when Carmine stopped at our table to chat with my dad. He told us an amazing story of how their sausage and pepper sandwich was featured in Food & Wine magazine and how he found Put about it. A true Italian man living in his owned world, he was not familiar with the magazine. But that put them on the food seen. He then brought my dad his famous sausage and pepper sandwich, on the house! We came back later that week and ordered pasta with sausage and sauce for dinner which he provided as part of their dinner to go series. If I lived closer, I would never be cooking, I would just be at Carmine's for lunch and dinner! Don't sleep on this authentic Italian restaurant with old world charm.

We were on our way up to red rock and wanted to grab some lunch for the tailgate. We ordered the French dip and the special #5 cutlet sandwich as well as Mac salad and black and white cookie. The sandwiches are expensive but big. The French dip was $13.99 and the special was $18.99 for an 8in. Our meal ended up being around $60 for two sandwiches, a Mac salad, chips and two pastries. The mac salad was very good and tasty but the sandwiches were a total disappointment. The French dip lacked ANY flavor even a bit of salt would've gone a long way. When we dipped it in the au jus, it still lacked any flavor. We ended up only taking a few bites then tossing it and moving onto the #5. Both sandwiches were incredibly soggy and we maybe ate them 20 minutes after getting them. Taste was decent with the cutlet sandwich but oh my heartburn. We both had heartburn the entire duration of the concert. Just a disappointing experience after spending so much money.

There wasn't anything particularly wrong with the service--it was fine, and we had no complaints there. We ordered the Marky-Marg pizza, and the pizza itself was really good. It was so overcooked that neither of us could eat it, which was disappointing since a good crust is part of what makes a great pizza.
