If I had to pick the most unapetizing name for a sandwich business, I think it might be "snarf" haha. No offense... but also, they have pretty damn good sandwiches so they can call themselves whatever they want! A coworker and I had this delivered via UberEats to the venue we were working at for our event. It definitely took a while to prepare but we did order around lunch time, so definitely makes sense. I ordered the turkey and swiss sandwich and really liked it. I love a toasted sandwich situation and it definitely hit the spot on an event day. I also ordered a coke as well which came in a can. I think we ordered cookies but I didn't get mine, however my coworker did get hers and she enjoyed it. I would definitely eat these sandwiches again.

Just moved to CO six weeks back, and while I'm not much of a sandwich girlie, couldn't resist the opportunity to try a place called "SNARF'S"! Got great recommendations from the cashier (will be trying the Italian next time), but selected the Corned Beef and Swiss with gluten-free bread. Upon realizing how many toppings I had to choose from, we decided to dress it up like a Reuben; I'm a sucker for sauerkraut. Beautiful, warm and thoroughly impressed with how moist the GF bread was! Unlike other sandwich shops, a great amount of meat but tightly packed, so it didn't fall apart when I ate it. And I find it very hard to come by GF bread that doesn't fall apart when you sink your teeth in.

Gluten free BLT
Rachel A.

I'm gluten free so usually sandwich shops mean I order a salad, but this place offered gluten free bread, and labeled the sandwich options that could be made with it. The restaurant itself was pretty standard in terms of seating, similar to a subway. We ordered at the front and mentioned how the gluten free up charge was a bit high, at almost $4 extra for gf bread. (Usually up-charge is closer to $2) We were told this was because they make nearly no money on it by the cashier- understand it takes more resources- but this comment confused us. I got a gf BLT with cheese and onions added, and was really pleased with it. Overall the sandwich was delicious and barely crumbled- I'd recommend checking this place out for the gluten free options just be prepared to pay the surcharge.

If you've been skipping out on Snarf's in Colorado, what the heck is wrong with you?! The local institution has spread like wildfire the last few years, opening all across Colorado and even a few outside the Centennial State. Now they have a beautiful new store in Arvada. Compared to any other location I've been to, this one has a massive dining room with tons of seating. Now Snarf's is known for their toasted subs. The menu is filled with plenty of classics, unique twists, and the ever popular "not on the menu" menu. IYKYK. Prime Rib & Provolone Cheese // served all the way w/ mayo, mustard, hot peppers, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, seasoning and oil. The crunchy vegetables countered the meat, cheese and mayo perfectly. Couldn't shovel this down fast enough! Snarf's makes it easy to order ahead online if you don't want to wait in store. I'd actually like to come back to this particular store due to the large dining room seating options. Looking forward to curing my sandwich fix when the cravings hit. You can always rely on Snarf's for a dependable and crave worthy sandwich!

The Mother Clucker

If you're craving a sandwich, you have to go here! They have a ton of different options and have sandwiches that's 'not on the menu' menu. I was torn between which sandwich to get and the staff was kind enough to help me make a decision. We tried the mother clucker and the French dip and both were delicious! The mother clucker was unexpectedly flavorful as it has honey and seasoning which made this sandwich so so good! We also tried the French dip and it was also very good! It came with au jus and dipping the sandwich into the au ju was amazing! I can't wait to come back and try different sandwiches again! The only complaint I have is for a sandwich, $15 is a pretty steep price. Other than that, the staff was great, the restaurant was clean, and the food was good!

First the FOOD, my sandwich was the best I have due to the Thin Homemade Crusty Bread!! There is also Homemade Gluten Free. The veggies were Fresh, crunchy, avacado was perfect, wish there were a bit more (hint), nice fresh Snapple drinks. Choices from a full size menu of assorted of meats & veggie sandwichs, rotating soups choices, salads galore, choose from the HUGE menu board! Delicious!!! Choices to fit all palates! Ample room, inside and outside patio, Clean - Welcoming - efficient, very pleasant atmosphere. INCREDIBLE Sandwich Venue for a quick working lunch crowd, family outing or out solo needing a Fresh bite. Service was impeccable with a genuine smile. And of course I had to feed my service dog, the turkey was tender and perfect size portions for My Veggie & Aspen's Doggy dish. Snarf's, was known as The Shack has grown to over 30 locations! Snarf's, a family owned has grown, now in serveral Colorado locations, Austin TX, St Louis. Don't miss out for an afternoon delicious bite of food!

I haven't had Snarf's in at least 7 years so I was excited to see a new Snarf's popped up by my house! Excellent service and food just as I remembered. I asked for a recommendation because they have quite the impressive menu. The brisket BBQ sandwich I got was so good! I was a bit worried about adding on a bunch of veggies and sauces to a sandwich with bbq sauce but they made it just right. Thanks and I can't wait to go back!

This place is great! Very yummy subs! Lots of tables inside. They are in a very busy shopping center. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Just got the turkey sub. Lots of good flavor. Definitely recommend.

The legendary sandwich shop as finally appeared in Arvada. So we decided to see what if their reputation is all it is worth. In short; There is a reason they are known for their sandwiches. Simply, cause they are pretty good. Their italian sub has actually been one of the subs I have had at a shop thay was actually as hot as I would want it. And that cheese was super melty and delicious. The price is a wee steep, however, but not too crazy. The service was pretty blunt outside the lovely cashier girl. Slam the sandwich on the table, and done. They also had the music playing too loud for a near-empty dining area, which made it echo and distracting from out own conversations. Overall, worth going at least once.

Snarfs is a Colorado tradition that you just have to get every now and then. This new location in Arvada is really convenient to a lot of activities in Arvada and right off of I76 and I70. The location is bright, comfortable and very open. Snarfs always makes a great sandwich so you can't go wrong. I had the French dip and really enjoyed it with Zapps bbq chips. I requested toppings on my sandwich and they were left off but the sandwich really didn't need toppings. My daughter enjoyed a Cobb salad with creamy Parmesan dressing and loved it. My husband had a meatball sub and it was delicious! The team was friendly and moved quickly to get our order filled. Visit this new snarfs location for a great meal!

Snarfs is always a solid staple in Colorado. Between the unique additions to a sandwich and the friendly staff I enjoy visiting. My only complaint is how high the cost has gotten. It's a nice treat from time to time.

Finally able to give Snarf's a try since I moved here! Thanks Matt and Yelp team! What a nice location with plenty of parking. I have seen this sandwich shop all over Denver, but never had the chance to stop by and now....I have. The shop was nice and open, very spacious and welcoming. I had been on the vegetarian side of things these days and was a bit hesitant ordering a veggie sandwich. Fortunately, they have a portabello sandwich with great typical fix'ns for me and I added extra mushrooms since they didn't have anymore sprouts. The staff was very welcoming and making sure I have everything I wanted or need on my sandwich and snacks. Thanks to Yelp, I was able to give every little department a try! I also ordered the Brisket sandwich for my boyfriend - 16". That was a huge sandwich, I only had the 12" which was more than enough for me. I was offered a snickerdoodle fresh cookie, which was delicious and soft. Loved it. I didn't eat there as traffic was getting heavy. Unfortunately, my sandwich was quite "wet" with all the fixings, BUT it was still yummy! It hit the spot. My boyfriend devoured his 16", so there's your answer to that lol. Will have to come back to Snarf's when I'm in a sandwich mood!! They even have a small retail rack if you're a Snarfling. Thanks again Matt and Yelp team!!

So excited for this new location. Walked in and was super impressed with how big the space is and how many options they have for seating. The man that helped me check out was super friendly and answered any questions I had. I got that Italian with seasoning and oil, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I wish I would have gotten some mayonnaise because it was a little on the dry side but even without I still ate the whole thing!

YOU HAD ME AT PIE I…read moredrove 1 hour and 22 minutes to meet a friend here and it was worth the time and price of gas! SERIOUSLY! I gobbled my cherry hand pie down so fast that my Grandma Lucile would have chastised me for my rude behavior! My friend ordered the chicken pot pie and it looked so yummy I bought one to take home to my husband. I enjoyed the curry hand pie and boy - what a fantastic flavor in pie crust! Double Yum! My only regret today is I didn't buy a few more mini pies to take home to my freezer! Way to go small business! #pieisawayoflife PS The store is very cute and decorated with fun little gifts or treats you could make as a hostess gift when you stop to get a pie to bring for dessert. #DontwalkRUN!

I tried the hot and read buffalo chicken sandwich, and the pork green chile. I thought both were good. Definitely more emphasis on the bread in these than you would get somewhere else, but that is to be expected with it being a pie shop. I liked the pork a little bit more. They were more filling than I expected but also I didn't think about how much bread there was until after. Also got the key lime pie for dessert later in the day which I loved. Good amount of whipped cream, and had great flavor. Not too crumbly on the crust either. And finally I did get the take and bake chicken pot pie. Which I thought was excellent. Fair value for the size, I think. The large got me 3 meals but probably could have stretched it to 4. But it was so good that I just kept eating more. Had good amounts of chicken in it and good ratio with the veggies. I would definitely return here. Would definitely get the pot pies and key lime pie again. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them, but if I was in the area and needing something quick and easy to eat, I would get 1 of the hot and ready sandwiches too - I thought they were fairly priced too.

Cathy suggested that we go to Scrumptious and Alyssa immediately thought that the idea was great since she had been wanting to check the place out. After finding free street parking in walking distance to the shoppe, we arrived shortly after 3 PM to a fairly quiet store. An old-timey candy shoppe/ice cream parlour that sells sweet treats, specialty bottled sodas, and a wide selection of homemade ice cream of classic and unique flavours, Scrumptious is a sweet tooth's heaven. On the day of our visit, the venue was clean, tidy, and perfectly air conditioned....Maki was welcome to sit inside at our table with us. Insert happy face emoji here - I SUPER love dog-friendly places. I had a complimentary taste of their Tropical Koolaid Sorbet, but passed on ordering a full scoop [only because I didn't want to spoil my appetite for our tea time]. Cathy had coffee ice cream, Chris went for the GIANT ICE CREAM SANDO (looked pretty standard in size to me), and Alyssa ordered a cup of Hershey Waffle cone ice cream, all of which were served with a friendly smile. As the three enjoyed their frozen treats, Mom and I got a kick out of going through the aisles of nostalgic candies. There were a lot of new, cool candies, too. Mom ended up purchasing a few candies as well as a souvenir Scrumptious zip-up hoodie. Scrumptious is mos def one of the sweetest places in the Denver area.

I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. The vanilla custard bun was simply the right size for me (I not too long ago had just had my late breakfast so I was still quite full from it.) Perfectly brown on some of the custard on top. This Portuguese style dessert is a staple at any bakery or dessert shop. It's moist and yet the flaky out layers made the perfect sound as I bit into it.
