Pretty good sandwiches. I'd say the bread tears up my mouth to the max but that's ok . I got the turkey and Swiss this time and it was great . The inside of the restaurant was super loud and not the most comfortable but again I don't mind . I do like having a new sandwich shop that offers more than burgers and fries . I will definitely be back . Welcome to the neighborhood! The front staff was friendly enough as well .

    Time to Scarf a Snarf's!

My grandson turned me on to this very popular sandwich shop in Arvada, with a constant line of locals flowing through the entrance on a Sunday around noon local Rocky Mountain Time. I ordered the Prime Rib with Provolone and mushrooms. Added all the extras except mayo and hot peppers. I also ordered a Big Pickle (However they forgot to place it in my to go bag) Word to the wise, double check you to go order bag, before leaving! Their crispy crusty exterior and soft interior of the toasted bread makes for a great platform, to build a made to order Snarf's Sandwich! The Prime Rib was shaved thin and very tasty. Melted Provolone cheese, tomato, onions & pickles. I added my own BBQ Sauce to give it that sweet zing that made my taste buds sing! Lots of seating inside but we took ours to go. They also have a variety of chips and soft drinks. I spied some rich looking brownies and cookies for the sweet tooth. Looks and feels like a Snarfy Kine of place to get your grind on! Tastes great! I'll be back to try another custom creation and get that giant pickle that didn't make it into my bag!

There's something unique about the way a Snarf sandwich is made. Crunchy, fresh ingredients, that just make your insides smile! It's the stop in for lunch, take a friend from out of town, order for the office, kinda place. The team behind the counter were all really friendly, and if you dine in, there's plenty of space to sit for anyone you bring with you. Get it!

We started with the chicken bites as an appetizer, and they were cooked perfectly crispy, flavorful, and delicious. For the entrees both me and my husband got the All-American burger, which was outstanding and easily one of the best burgers we have had. During our meal, a very kind young gentleman named Nolan stopped by our table to check on how everything was. His politeness, respect, and attentiveness truly stood out. It was clear that his parents raised him well and taught him the importance of kindness and good manners. Donovan also provided exceptional service throughout the visit with his kindness and professionalism. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning. It appeared that we were going to have a great meal with great service, until...... Our server was very attentive, until food was delivered... then no where to be found. We ordered deviled eggs that were overcooked and too salty. My friend and I shared a burger and her son had the pork chop. Our meal arrived without any condiments (please.... a burger and no ketchup?). I attempted to flag down our waiter, but to no avail. I got up and found another server near the drink stand and asked for condiments. She said they would right over. Ten minutes later, nothing..... finally found our waiter who retrieved condiments from the kitchen... by then our burger was cold and not very tasty. We decided to treat ourselves with some key lime pie which was recommended by our servers as his "favorite." The pie had far too much crust that was chewy and hard. The entire meal was a big disappointment.

Heyyyyyyy alllll. So spun the wheel and.. LADY NÓMADA???…read more Oh she's coastal, she's chaotic, she's giving "Tik Tok influencer with a trust fund and a surfboard she's never touched." And honestly? I ate it UP. (SQUEAL) First victim: the Lost Lady Salad. Kale, dates, candied walnuts, mustard agave dressing, jack & white cheddar... basically somebody threw a woodland fairy brunch into a bowl and said , make it sexy. And BABY, it WORKED. Sweet, crunchy, tangy, confusing in the best way possible. Those little dates were in there flirting shamelessly. If you skip this salad, I just cannot help you spiritually. Now the Chicken Tonga tacos... OOOOO she came in HOT. Braised chicken, gooey cheese, pickled red onions, radish. Oh girrrrl, this taco had ATTITUDE. My compadre took one bite and suddenly I trusted her judgment again because this little dish was FIRE, honey. The pickled onions with the spicy chicken? Naughty. Disrespectful. Borderline illegal levels of delicious. Then we slid into the carnitas tacos. Braised achiote pork shoulder, salsa verde, cotija, cilantro, onions... and yes I was feeling cheesy because the cheese with that salsa verde combo??? She was smooth with a tiny little tomatillo slap at the end. Not enough to fight you, just enough to keep things interesting. Like a toxic ex who learned therapy buzzwords. The vibe? Surfboards on the walls, laid-back beach energy, giant North Shore wave footage playing like we were one fish taco away from moving to Hawaii. Slightly confusing geographically? Yes. Did I still eat it up aesthetically? Also yes. Coastal Mexican with a side of , wait where are we? Now LISTEN. I asked for a Corona. My sweet beautiful waiter, whose name I failed to write down because apparently journalism is dead, brought me a Paloma instead. CLOSE, but absolutely not. Nobody needs tequila unlocking the feral neighborhood coyote living inside me. Bad enough sober. Thankfully he corrected it immediately because we avoided what could have become a full moon situation. No harm, no foul, no howling. Overall? Lady Nómada is spicy, chaotic, beachy, slightly confused, and absolutely delicious. Exactly the kind of woman I aspire to be. Verdict: 3 snaps, a splash down and a twist.

Drinks: They used cheaper tequila. my body cannot handle cheap tequila, but higher end stuff is just fine. how can I tell? I was sweating tequila the next day after one margarita. Quality tequila doesn't mess me up like that. Pricing: for the quality of food, not great. they also no longer do taco tuesday. Service: staff was lovely, though I wish they were more accommodating to my vegetarian guest. The refried beans are made with animal fat, so it is not vegetarian as advertised.

The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The broth was deep and aromatic and the portion size, especially with the beef rib, was massive. Everything was so impressive that since that visit, this place has been on my regular rotation for pho. Beside Pho, they have a few other offerings, one of which is rather unique. For the more adventurous, Faifo offers a spicy beef pho. This is a dry-style pho serves with all the fixin' and a spicy sate style sauce that makes for an amazing meal on a hot day. It also comes with a bowl of pho broth for satisfying sips between bites. This is easily one of my favorite dish on the menu and a must try here. Beside that, I've also had their Bun Bo Hue, which is pretty dang tasty. The broth is very tasty, though not as funky or spicy as ones I've had in Vietnam. Nonetheless, it's a mighty tasty bowl and something to get for the colder days here in Denver. Both the Bo Kho and the Banh Canh are also very good as well, though not a must compared to other dishes on the menu. Overall, Faifo is a great Vietnamese restaurant. The value is also tremendous given the portion size. This is an easy 4/5 for me.

Their bò kho definitely reminds me of my father's recipe, which is rich and not overly sweet. This aromatic Vietnamese beef stew is a fragrant broth infused with lemongrass, star anise, and spices. It's a bowl of distinct and complex flavor profile that balances savory, sweet, spicy notes, with a vibrant brick-red color from the annatto seeds. The cuts of beef shank, flank, and chuck were soft so you know they spent hours simmering to achieve this level of tenderness. The deep beef profile is highlighted when adding bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime juice to cut through the richness and carrots provided a natural sweetness to the savory broth. Bánh canh is a Vietnamese noodle soup featuring thick, chewy noodles made from tapioca flour, rice flour, or a mix, served in a flavorful broth with various toppings like pork, shrimp, crab, or fish cake. The broth is clean from the hours of simmering bones to create a savory, collagen-rich base. You can taste the freshness of the soup garnished with fresh cilantro, green onions, fried shallots, lime, and chili oil. Plus you get a boat load of proteins and garnishes - shrimp cake, imitation crab meat, shrimp, quail egg, mushroom, tapioca noodle, onion, cilantro and black pepper. We'll be back and try the bún bò huế and cá ri.

The Po' Boi was also delicious, and I got to sample a bit of the Kabocha Gnocchi, the Reuben, and the Sweet Beet salad, and they were all things I would order again! I honestly was surprised by how much I liked the Sweet Beet salad, as I am not typically a fan of grapefruit (which I believe was one of the citrus fruits included in the dish), but it's a great mix of sweet and earthy flavors. The location is inside of a food court type setup, so this also seems like a good place for a group with varied tastes, as if you have omnivores with a fear of vegetarian/vegan food with you, they could grab food elsewhere and I believe you could take your food and eat it out in the court area together. The decor is modern and reasonably trendy, and the restaurant was very clean (but we also arrived shortly after opening, so that's to be expected). I think it would make a decent date spot as well. I think next time I'm in the Denver area, I would prioritize stopping by here. It was really tasty, and a nice little gem of a restaurant!
