We had some mimosas to share. We chose orange and cranberry juice to go with the bubbles. I decided I was feeling more lunch than breakfast and chose the Southwest Turkey Club. It is served on toasted ciabatta with tomato, red onion, shaved turkey, bacon, roasted poblano pepper and chipotle aioli with pepperjack cheese. Yum! I got fries as my side as well as an extra serving of the chipotle aioli to dip. My daughter selected the Works Burger with the day's soup, corn chowder. Winner winner bread dinner??? Nice try, Matt. I walk by this place all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. I frequent a local spot a few doors down weekly. At the times I go, Bread Winners is usually closed. So I never think too much of it. And I haven't thought about actually checking it out in years. Until the other day, my wife was like, "hey we should go get breakfast at the place next to Bluegrass." Well, we all know what happened next. With the in-laws and little man in tow, we ventured out for a Sunday morning breakfast on the patio. I had no idea what to expect, all I knew is that I wanted to sit outside. Their patio is amazing, completely turfed, shaded, and covered. Nice big chairs and tables, too. Portions are huge, and extremely generous for $15 plates. This is old school breakfast and brunch, not the trendy BS you see on social media. Which is why you won't find too many people online talking about this place. Well, except for Yelp, of course! I ordered a green chile scramble loaded with eggs, chorizo, potatoes, and spicy pork green chile. It came with toast and I loaded it up the scramble with cholula. Came to Bread Winners Cafe in old town on an early Sunday morning. We were recommend to try their Cinnamon roll. We got sat very fast and was asked our preferred seating. We chose patio due to not hot yet. It was a cover patio which was nice. I order two things that caught my eye, stuffed French toast and banana foster pancakes. My husband got biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage, and. Of course the cinnamon roll. Sadly I didn't love the cinnamon roll it very dense and not moist. I LOVED the banana foster pancakes. Such a treat to find this place in our trip to Arvada. All the employees were so friendly, cute atmosphere and deck and the food! Everything was so good, such a selection and all made in house down to their dressings. We had the Rueben which was on perfectly cooked rye bread. Tender corned beef and house made thousand sale. The service was good as our server kept checking up on us consistently. I got the Colorado Benedict which was pretty good overall, I was expecting crispy bacon slices but came out to be bacon bits. The side potatoes were a little disappointing as potatoes are my favorite on dishes. They were not seasoned well and tasted burnt. Even with salt and ketchup I couldn't finish them all. Some family members and I visited Bread Winners for a weekday breakfast after a get together the previous evening. The restaurant is right off the main road of Olde Town and very easy to find. There is street parking available (free for 2 hours) right in front of the entrance and other options within a couple of blocks. We had an easy time finding spots, but bear in mind that evenings and weekends may prove to be a bit more challenging. The lobby and overall interior of the building is very well decorated and feels warm and inviting; two of my sisters also made comments about how cute the interior was and how it would be such a nice spot to stop in for a morning coffee to read a book for a bit or to catch up with a friend. There are a couple of large dining rooms inside as well as a spacious patio. We sat on the patio, which was covered and heated this time of year. The menu is pretty straightforward and full of recognizable, comfort food dishes. Lots of breakfast and brunch options as well as a fairly extensive coffee and drink menu if you're feeling like a mimosa or something. A couple of us got their drip coffee to start, which really hit the spot and was super yummy - exactly what you'd want from really good diner drip coffee. My sister's partner got their hot chai latte, which she loved. It took us only a few minutes to decide on our meals, but I wanted to show some love to our waitress, Dee, who was absolutely amazing! She is extremely sweet, personable, and did an excellent job helping us. We got an array of items, which you can see in the photos, and our meals came out in what felt like no time. Everything looked and smelled wonderful, and the food was obviously hot and fresh. I opted for the chicken sausage and eggs with a side of fruit as I'm not usually one to eat breakfast in the morning, and it tasted great and was the perfect amount of food, save for the toast I didn't finish lol. The fruit comes in a 2oz plastic cup, which I found a bit disappointing, but it tasted fresh. I would have liked a bit more of a variety personally, though it was still good. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well, but one of my sisters was a bit wary of how runny her eggs were in the huevos rancheros, as she'd ordered them a bit more cooked. Everything was wonderful otherwise. We were in and out in probably just under an hour and will definitely be back again. Breadwinners is in such a great part of town and has such a good vibe, I would highly recommend it if you're in the area. read more

I have enjoyed both of my meals here, one solo and one with the wife. First of all, the service is excellent and simply can't be ignored in the rating result. Salvador was my last server, and his personality was a perfect amount of energy for a weekend brunch, and he was efficient in his craft. I had the morning scramble on the first trip and the smoked salmon hash this most recent visit. Both were delicious. The salmon hash wins my personal food contest. Wife had the breakfast combo this weekend and loved it. But, kjnow that menu is all over the board, with plenty of traditional AND unique options for all. The place is deceptively spacious, and offers a heated patio, indoor dining, and bar seating. It is also very reasonably priced, with good energy throughout its walls. I am partial to eggs benedict, so I am always impressed by a brunch place with multiple varieties of benedicts on the menu. I usually get the classic benedict and Breadwinners benny was on point. Perfectly cooked eggs with runny yolks, plus a hollandaise sauce that was to die for. We also tried the cinnamon roll pancakes. While they were tasty, I think they could have used more of the cinnamon cream topping. As it was, there wasn't too much going on to separate them from regular pancakes.
