Went again last Wednesday lunchtime and had a delicious Flatirons chicken salad sandwich on rosemary garlic bread. Server was friendly and my sandwich came out within about 5 minutes while I was looking at all the little shop things for sale. There were several folks inside sitting quietly working and reading at the tables, which made for a cozy weekday vibe. Grabbed a coffee next door at Sweetbloom and then went shopping at Natural Grocers! Love this place! Excited to go back and try a baked treat with my rewards! read more

The response from management is dishonest and disgracefulI. I asked for no mayo and they put a crapload of mayo on my original sandwich. The second sandwich had a little bit of mayo. Wth? So THEN they made my third sandwich correctly. I did call and I raised concerns over having put mayo on my sandwich since I'm allergic to it. She said it was cross contamination. No it was intentional. If there is a knife in the mayo why would you use the utensil it if I asked for no mayo. There is no excuse. And I didn't want a "free" sandwich cuz I won't be back. I wish I could give this place more stars. In my month long visit, I visited at least once every week to stock up on bread. My favorite menu item is the baja chipotle turkey sandwich with the portobello pesto melt sandwich as a close second. I recommend asking the server which bread they recommend for each sandwich. We also tried some of the breads and baked goods. None of the following disappointed: green chili rolls, 3 cheese bread (similar flavor to Asiago cheese bagel at Panera), honey whole wheat bread, cinnamon crunch bread (basically a cinnamon roll in loaf form), everything bread, eggnog muffin, caramel apple muffin (definitely try), and savory bread pudding (pictured). Great Harvest Bakery saved Christmas! We were supposed to bring pies to Christmas Eve dinner but contracted stomach flu and couldn't bake them. Great Harvest made us three pies with less than a 24 hour turn around. They're delicious and absolutely beautiful! I LOVE this bakery. Try the breakfast sandwich on the homemade biscuit. Sadly, our fave Arvada coffee hangout has slipped, with indifferent customer service and greedy pricing. The last several visits have consistently been poor in customer service: on e when coffee service was abruptly "stopped", somewhat unilaterally per the manager's discretion (after I had asked to PAY for a refill?! Before that visit, the same manager actually "pre-charged" me after asking if I wanted a refill after their very tiny cup size to begin with. Subsequent visits have the staff "announcing at 3 PM, literally " bey heads up we are closing in two minutes"!? Despite their advertised 5 PM closing time. Brownie? $6.50!!!? BLT sandwich (literally fits in one hand and tiny) $12! I realize food costs have increased across the board, but when a coffee shop overcharges - or cuts off coffee service or CLOSES without notice, we're looking for a new place read more

The absolute chokehold that Great Harvest has on me is unreal. The sandwiches are outstanding, all on fresh bread. I always get the Amy's Southwest Melt, my partner gets a breakfast sandwich (breakfast served all day!) on one of their fresh biscuit. We've also enjoyed the turkey goddess and portobello melt - you cannot go wrong! the service is great even when they're busy. The staff is super kind. This is the definition of neighborhood community sandwich and baked good shops. They have seasonal sweets you can get - Halloween, Thanksgiving, winter holidays, valentines. They really go all out! Great Harvest has some amazing bread! We picked up several loaves today: sourdough, challah, and green chili cheddar. So far we have only tried the sourdough but it's so good! It has a great chew and texture as well and delicious flavor! We also picked up a couple of sandwiches to take home. My husband got the roast beef and provolone. I had the turkey goddess sandwich. You get to choose which bread you want for the sandwich! When we got home there was a mistake. My avocado was put on my husbands sandwich by mistake. The hubby HATES avocado so that wasn't great. Also I didn't feel that the sandwiches were worth the price ($12 and $15). The bakery is very cute with some really fun gifts and food items! The staff was so friendly and helpful! I can't wait to use the challah tomorrow for French toast. And I can't wait to go back for some yummy goodies! read more

A year ago I'd have given this place 5 stars. Past few months the customer service has gone downhill quite a bit. And the shelves of prepackaged items has been quite sparse. I used to stop in to this store once a week but now haven't been there for over a month. read more

Ordered a turkey cheese sandwich with a side of soup and was quoted 5-10 minutes, but ended up waiting 25 minutes. My items were shoved in a paper bag that was drenched in sauce or soup on the outside. The paper the sandwich was wrapped in had avocado all over it. The sandwich I ordered did not have any avocado in it, which signaled to me the employees did not change their gloves enough between preparing distinct orders. I had my sandwich on their rosemary garlic bread - The bread was claggy and the sandwich itself was very small for $12. Their soup was fine (cheddar poblano), but was disappointed in the sandwich quality and timeliness. read more

Great place to grab an excellent sandwich, made with fresh ingredients. The best part is the bread -- made fresh on site with natural ingredients. They offer so many choices, It's hard to choose. I had to let the manager/cashier guide me. She knows bread!!!! Orders are prepared on site and delivered to your table shortly after ordering. I want to love this place, but when it comes to customer service I feel they are majorly lacking. I noticed they only had whole loaves that were pre sliced ready at the moment, but knowing they typically offer half loaves (meaning they simply open the bags and split the loaves in two) I asked the lady if I could do a half loaf. Should be a pretty simple request right? No. The lady glanced at the shelf and continued leaning on the counter and told me "we only have what's on the shelf available". It seems to me this company isn't interested in customer satisfaction and with such a simple request denied I won't be back. I'll be buying my 15$ bread elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here for over 25 years and unfortunately the service is slowly going downhill as they get bigger. It takes almost 30 minutes to get food items now (sandwiches, etc), since they fill door dash orders before they fill in-house orders. Coffee and other drink items are constantly out, and no more bread samples, since there is rarely ever anyone available to serve it. I used to love this place but I dislike the poor customer service, no matter how good the pastries are. The things that made this a special place years ago have slowly disappeared. read more

The food is great but the cashiers consistently mess up on orders. Like if they couldn't hear me they should've clarified or repeated my order back... the first time I ordered bacon in my breakfast sandwich and they gave me sausage instead which was a pleasant surprise but today they gave me turkey instead of the turkey sausage and it was not good. Please improve on that. They also forgot to give me toppings like tomatoes and onions which are supposed to be in sandwiches. Someone who was working in the back said "they were having a hard time" with this so mistakes must be common?? The food is pricey so wish they would've offered to remake for the mistake. read more

Do not purchase the rosemary garlic croutons. I made a special trip out of my way to buy these ($10+ for small bag) and they were very stale, tasteless, and hard as a rock. Do not waste your money on this product. Such a regret purchasing these. read more

So delicious! The cheesecake bars are one of the best things I've ever eaten, they are a must get. The sandwiches are really great too. Stopped by Sweet Bloom & needed a loaf of bread. Rather than support our large grocery chain, we decided to grab a loaf here at a local biz! It was great to see how much they put in to ensuring the staff and customers were safe during COVID19. They shifted their model to include a small grocery store with fruits and other dry goods, along with a few tiny packs of masks and gloves. I really appreciated it as my reusable masks hadn't come in yet! The bread was super tasty- we got a basic white loaf and a green chili loaf too. We'll keep coming back! read more

Took 20 minutes to get my sandwich. I had one person ahead of me. They didn't have the ingredients to make the sandwich I ordered first but didn't let me know for 10 minutes. No one wearing masks when preparing food also person making food not wearing gloves. Saw a guy with gloves on put his finger in his mouth and continue making bread, while coughing. We started going to Great Harvest during the pandemic. Every time we went there, the staff was extremely upbeat and friendly. They were appreciative that we were supporting a local and let us us know it every time we came in. There food is delicious and so fresh. LOVE the bread selection and appreciate the variety of savory, sweet and in between. They also have mini loaves of bread as well as gluten free options. A must have is the cinnamon chip loaf which is dynamite when making French toast for breakfast or dinner. I cut that into large pieces and dunk it in a custard base with eggs, milk, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. Next is their 5-pack of chocolate chip cookies which contains oats and provide a great texture to them. It's reasonably priced, considering everything is scratch made using good ingredients. I can't really begin to express how much I love this place. Currently I live right around the corner, but we're moving soon and I keep thinking to myself, how close can I stay to Great Harvest? At this point I tend to come here at least a couple times a week, mostly for breakfast sandwiches (only $5 for bacon, egg, cheese, and I recommend the garlic cheddar biscuit) but their blueberry and/or raspberry (depending on the day) cream cheese scones are out of this world. I always thought scones were the hard sad castoffs of the baking world but apparently I'd never had a good scone before. Because they always offer you a sample when you come in I've also been able to try the cinnamon chip bread (not too sweet but still incredibly flavorful) and the bread pudding (not too sweet but still incredibly flavorful). The people that work there are really friendly and provide great service, considering I usually swing by first thing in the morning it's a nice way to start the day. I'm already thinking about how bummed I'll be when I'm more than a 3 minute car ride away. read more

Honestly I don't know why this place isn't crowded!! I love their cute indoor seating and their variety of breads is sooo amazing!! I have a friend who's gluten free and she loves their gluten free bread. Their salads are packaged sooo nice and so filling. I have had no bad experience in the four months that I've been going there. Simply amazing. I also love their granola. One last thing, try their cookie dough and make your own cookies!
