The gentleman running the counter was the sweetest, most helpful person. Absolutely love him. Best service I have had anywhere. The food is great, but definitely designed to be taken to go, rather than eaten there. No seating inside, although they have a cute little patio for when the weather is nice. If I lived nearby I would be in trouble- the biscuits are homemade and fluffy. They also have a rotating cinnamon roll, which was Nutella and banana. Don't be fooled like we were- the icing is on the side and it's bomb. If it had been warm it would have been epic. Definitely take it home and warm it up (or I bet if you ask they will warm it for you, we just didn't think to ask). The biscuits and gravy were excellent- the country gravy was super peppery and had little chunks of sausage in it. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich could have used a sauce- mayo or something, it was a little dry. The biscuit with jam tasted like the jam was homemade too. Talk about a hidden gem! I first heard of this place when they made Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat list in Denver a few years ago. This is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall. They have a walk up counter with zero seating inside. There are a few tables outside if you don't mind braving the cold or heat! From scratch biscuits. Say less. These were fluffy and flaky. The bottom tore apart a little bit while eating my sandwich, but other than that I have no complaints. The egg was fluffy, the cheese was melty, and the sausage was big and juicy (wink, wink). This is my definition of a 5-star breakfast! Employees are friendly. And they seem to know everyone by name. Great customer service and they have built up a cult following for good reason. First off I'll have to say they probably have the best biscuits in town. Made from scratch and extremely fluffy and the berry jam is to die for. I also got the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich. It was pretty good, but a little dry and could have used some mayo. I also had the biscuits and gravy. The country gravy was good, but a little peppery. My wife got the Nutella banana cinnamon roll and it was almost perfect. If it was just heated up right before serving it would be excellent. This is more of a grab and go hole in the wall breakfast place with no seating inside. They do have a couple tables outside, so it's perfect for spring, summer, and fall. The guy who took my order was so polite and that was the best service I've ever had. I will definitely be back. read more

Ordered a cinnamon roll for pick up. It was $8 and it was ready very quickly. Popped in and the customer service was great. My dog ran out of my car and into the delicious smelling place and the guy was very kind even though I was so embarrassed. They had a knife and fork in the bag which I appreciated and a container of the icing, but it didn't need it at all. (Although it was delicious and I def dipped a few bites in it). In my opinion it was cooked exactly how I liked it, somewhat crunchy and thick on the outside and doughy on the inside. It was huge and very satisfying. Although I definitely feel like I showed up late to this party, I'm soooo glad I finally made it! This is a cute family run business that makes some truly special breakfast treats. I tried the biscuit egg and cheese sandwich- fantastic- one of their breakfast meats would have been a tasty addition but wasn't necessary. The sausage patties are excellent, and made in house, along with the seasoning blend. Cinnamon rolls usually disappoint me- I find them to be typically dry, or overly sweet to mask their otherwise bland flavor, but these were a true treat. It was difficult to stop eating after a taste, even though I was full because they were so good. The shop has a counter and no indoor seating, so we took our food to Anderson Park, which is 6 minutes away, and had a lovely brunch picnic. Sticking with the five stars here as just plain good. It appears to be owned by a young husband and wife. I made the drive to support family owned and operated. I'm glad I did as it is worth the short trip. Small and inconspicuous, they crank out some awesome breakfast biscuits. When ordering you can see the tiny kitchen where he was putting in the oven some fresh biscuits. Everything is made from scratch including the sausage. I brought two home for my wife and myself, it didn't disappoint. Two delicious breakfast sandwiches that were more filling than I thought. The menu is pretty simple with biscuit sandwiches and some cinnamon rolls and sauce you can also add on. I got the ham egg and cheese biscuit with a side of habenero ketchup. While the ketchup tasted like barbecue sauce it did add a nice kick to the biscuit sandwich. The buttermilk biscuit was soft and not too dense and served hot. I've heard great things about the cinnamon rolls as well but didn't try one on this visit. In comparison to my favorite breakfast spot Rise and Shine, this place has its pros and cons. It is one of the best pastry places in Denver Metro, but the kindness and customer service take them to the highest level. Located in a storefront that might be tough to see from a random passer-by, Mr. Biscuits Bakery is a FIND. Limited interior seating but plenty of outdoor spots on the sidewalk. Clean, well decorated with fun quotes, and a genuine vibe from a family who gives a damn about their product.
