We all know I love soft serve! Recommended by a friend, so I had to check this place out. They do have a very small parking lot that is shared with the other businesses so if it's full, I would just try street parking. Small parking lot as in there's only five spaces. When you first walk in, there is a big TV screen that shows you all the flavors in different options that they have. My friend and I both opted for a kids cup that comes with one topping. I got the vanilla ice cream with Oreo topping, and my friend did vanilla with sprinkles. We both thought that the ice cream was creamier in comparison to other places we've been to. The kids portion was a good size just cause we wanted a sweet treat after lunch. Would definitely recommend this place especially cause it's close to my work so I could easily drive over for a treat! read more

I am visiting from LA. I love soft serve and and my son and daughter-in-law live near the DQ in Arvada. I said let's go to DQ. They said no, we need to go to Power Cone. OK it has a 4.9 rating so let's try it. I did not like it ... I loved it!! It is the creamiest, most flavorful soft serve I have ever had. No crap chemicals just simple ingredients and the flavor profile is ridiculously good. Amazing. The root beer float is great. The root beer was very good and with the ice cream .. this is a wow Denver. If I lived near Power Cone this would be dangerous for my waist line. A must try!! 1 million stars go there today. I'm addicted to this place, honestly I think about it more than I should and try to stop in at least once a week. The soft serve is the best I've ever had - rich and creamy with the perfect texture, not too soft but not too stiff. The flavors are amazing and you can get a twist, my fave is the vanilla strawberry, and you can't go wrong getting it topped, dipped, or as a sundae. The avalanche is their version of a McFlurry only it's a million times better. Everything I've tried has been fantastic and service is always very friendly and fast. There's only a couple small tables to sit at but we like to pop the back of the truck and sit and eat our ice cream in the parking lot, the perfect summer night. This place has really tasty and thick soft serve. Vanilla, twist, chocolate, and strawberry flavored. They also have ice cream cookie sandwiches with homemade cookies. A handful of toppings and different flavored cones as well. It would be nice if they put one more small table out front, but that's my only suggestion. read more

Doing everything right is impossible, but the Power Cone is about as close as you can get. Gourmet soft serve (I didn't know this was a thing), informative, kind and efficient service, a fun atmosphere AND they give back to the community from their profit! I love frozen desserts, froyo, ice cream, shaved ice, you name it. We are frequent fliers at several places (our daughters all work at well known establishments) and the power cone was better than both. They don't offer several or crazy flavors: they offer chocolate, vanilla & strawberry with twists. But the creamy richness of the ice cream is sooo good, the flavors are natural (not artificial tasting) and the temp of it makes it cold but not too cold and not melting. Topping offerings are basic but comprehensive. No gummy bears, but the salt they sprinkled on my choco-vanilla swirl dipped cone was perfection. My follow up visit was no less amazing: strawberry with hot fudge. Tasted like a chocolate dipped strawberry. Knowing that all the ingredients are locally and ethically sourced adds to the charm of the power cone. The best soft serve I have ever had! It was creamy and rich and made with the best ingredients. They have homemade whipped cream and waffle cones. It is annoying how good their soft serve is. We have increased our soft serve intake by ~2500%. In other words, I have gone from eating soft serve from about once a year to twice a month (which is a conservative estimate. It's likely more). Was craving ice cream the other night and instead of hitting DQ my wife suggested that we try the new local ice cream place and support a small business instead. I knew nothing about it so I walked in pretty blind and gotta admit I was slightly turned off when I saw it was only soft serve ice cream as that isn't really my jam, but since I was already there I figured we'd try it out. Got my wife a chocolate and myself a vanilla sundae and brought them home reluctantly. As soon as we started eating them our eyes lit up because this was probably the most delicious ice cream we have ever had and definitely the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had. It was creamy, smooth, rich and decadent. We savored every bite and scraped our cups for every last morsel. We're still talking about it days later. This shop is fantastic!! Parking out front is super easy and the ice cream barista was very nice to us. The interior is small so could get busy in the summer. There were fresh waffle cones being made when I went last night, which made it smell heavenly. The soft serve is EXACTLY what you want in a soft serve. What an amazing ice cream shop. The ingredients are so high quality and it is just the right amount of sweetness. I got my cone dipped in dark chocolate with Maldon salt sprinkles and it really paired well with the chocolate. I loved all compostable cups and wooden spoons. Plus the owner is so welcoming. Excellent customer service. It was my first time and the server explained all of the options for soft serve ice cream . I don't even know where to start. Power Cone is the best ice cream you will ever have, period. You can taste the love that is put into it. If you don't know anything about the business, note that their dairy is locally sourced from Bellevue, CO at Morning Fresh Dairy farms (if you haven't been you should go). Also, all of their products are fresh and ethically sourced. It's noticeable in the quality of the ice cream. Their waffle cones are to die for, and so is the home made cookie dough. The service is always friendly and quick, and the shop itself is cute and worth the visit. It's very clean and well kept. You can tell it's a local shop, and thats a good thing. Stopped by yesterday evening and was immediately impressed with the menu. Simple and easy to follow. Had the chocolate with hot fudge and caramel. Best soft serve I have ever had and that comes from someone who loves it. The hot fudge was so fresh and the caramel was to die for. I ordered a cup medium and it was huge. The rest of the group had cones one chocolate and the other 2 had strawberry which they said was awesome. I don't know the exact amount of the bill, because my son paid but it was worth evert penny.
