Yummmm now this is definitely the best bagel shop in Denver, hands down!! Leroy's is serving up a great variety of bagels & cream cheeses at a great price for downtown Denver. Great coffee choices too, I loved their Novo nitro cold brew. Best part: specialty bagel sandwiches are no more than $8-9!! Sorry but no need to call your mother when Leroy's is slingin bagels twice as meaty for half the price ;) It's located at 15th & Platte with decent street parking & very walkable to west downtown. The line was out the door on Saturday & it took maybe 15 minutes to get through a line ~13 deep with custom orders/coffees. The Cuban on a jalapeño bagel was sooooo so good for $7.95! Joey loved the BLAT (blt with avocado) on everything. We got a half dozen bagels to go with 8oz cream cheeses- the rosemary bagel with tomato/basil cream cheese is fantastic, and the veggie spread could be put on anything to amp it up. Yummmm. The lady that rang us up was sweet & patient despite being so busy, and the chick that gave us our food was so upbeat, saying "omg enjoy, you made such great choices!" And whether she meant that or not, we left stoked about what we were about to dig into... and damn she was right! All in all.. I've definitely found my new bagel spot in Denver! Ordered two bagel sandwiches online through their website for pick up (for a coworker and myself) Bottom line, the sandwiches were stacked and the bagel was delicious! It was disappointing that they mixed up the orders though (my bagel choice was put on the other and vice versa). Leroy's is a pretty cool bagel place located on the same street where a good friend of mine lives. So, upon waking up after a great show the night before, she insisted we check out Leroy's for breakfast. It's small, with only a few tables outside. On the day we visited, there was a long line and a very strange smell inside. Almost like sewer gas. My friend insisted we persevere. We ordered some bagels, including a bacon, egg, and cheese, plus a garlic with cucumber dill cream cheese. The food was good, decently priced too. Not the best bagels I have had, but good. The cucumber dill cream cheese is a flavor I have not had before; I found it very unique and tasty. I think if you are in this area, it's worth checking out Leroy's, but I also visited Call Your Mother while in Denver and found them to take the edge on the bagel scene here. read more

We picked up breakfast here before heading to Breckenridge and it was a good choice. It was busy but the service was good. I had the jalapeño and cheese bagel with pepper jack cheese and egg. We stopped in here the other morning, to order breakfast to go. It was our first time in, and I love that they're open early, at 6am. I love the color scheme in here - it's a bright turquoise, and still has a nice/new/clean vibe to it. They were putting out all the freshly baked bagels when we arrived, we both opted for plain, egg and cheese, and I had sausage, and my husband had bacon. Both were good, and it's nice to have a bagel place that's walkable from home. My niece is a New York transplant who now lives in Denver. I am a New York transplant, who currently live lives in Seattle, and both of us miss getting a good bagel. Our bagel and topping choices the morning we visited were delicious, as were the cold brew and hot cocoa that we ordered. Possibly as close to a New York bagel as one can get outside of New York. The staff was friendly and made cordial conversation with us. We were greeted and served with smiles and thanked for our business. Leroy's is great. Leroy's and Rosenberg's are my favorite bagel shops in Denver so far. I get all the basics that I grew up with and I love seeing the bagels fresh and organized in all the bins. It's a cute modern and brightly lit shop (lots of natural light) and it just feels fun to be there. It's a small shop so you're in pretty close proximity to guests and staff and everyone is pretty friendly! I love that they have a community board and they welcome my cat-sitting flyer each month! I love their seasonal menu and their basic bagels! It feels reasonably priced as well! I recently got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Iced Latte. So delicious! The bagels are always a delight here. Absolutely delicious. Also very reasonably priced compared to other bagel places around Denver. However, consistently the workers and general service is severely lacking. Today we ordered bagels at 12:01 and watched every person who ordered before us receive their bagels and watched one by one as every person who ordered after us also received their bagels. In total it took 24 minutes to receive our order and this is pretty common from my experience at Leroy's. Pretty sure someone was new so maybe that was the issue but every time we come to Leroy's there is some kind of service issue. Would just love to see this fixed. Stopped in for first time for a quick breakfast. Friendly quick service. Everything bagel with egg and American cheese. The bagel was not even close to the best in Denver. Einstein, and definitely Call Your Mama, are far superior. The egg look like it had been cooked hours ago and was really dry and overcooked. The cheese on top had somehow also dried out which I can not really fathom how they managed that. Upgrading my review to 4 stars after they volunteered to remake the bagel. Though this is a small bagel shop ( fairly limited seating) they are mighty! Services is quick and no frills- definitely appreciate their efficiency. There is a great variety of bagels, spreads, and bagel sandwiches. I also appreciate their selection of local goods. We ordered a toasted rosemary bagel with the bacon, cheddar, and chive cream cheese and a chorizo breakfast sandwich. Both were so delicious- well worth the slight detour off our regular path. One of very few places on 16th Street that make their own bagels fresh! There was enough staff working to handle the business so my order came out quickly.
