Fun little Italian market. Not necessarily my favorite in Denver but the sandwich's are good and the staff is nice.

We had to get the signature pasta sauce! & a salad marked down!

Oh my goodness whoever lives a few blocks away from this place I've never been more jealous of in my life! What an amazing deli/store! Everyone is so nice and so genuinely happy to be there. We ate multiple sandwiches while we were in town. The amount of fresh options and authentic food is intense! We wanted to buy absolutely everything. There was a cute lady working who convinced us to get some Caesar salads so they didn't have to throw them out! 10$ salads for 4.99! What a steal. We wish we got more pasta sauce, now we know for next time when we're in town!

Three decades in business, baby! Spinelli's Market is a local corner store and deli in Park Hill, specializing in all-things-Italian. They do have additional items on hand, however those seeking high quality pastas, sauces, cheeses, etc. will be at home here. I can assure you I was! Proud of my Italian-American heritage, it's a travesty that it took me three years to get here. I've driven by it dozens of times...there's no excuse. When my wife suggested it for my birthday lunch (knowing they have a deli) I was elated to feast on an Italian sandwich. Walking in reminded me of my favorite Italian markets, specifically similar style bodegas in New York. The deli is located in the back and if you're like me, it'll take you awhile to make it to the counter. I was ooing and ahhing over all my favorite cans of Cento, Sclafani, Bianco Diapoli, etc. Whole artichokes, cherry peppers, canned anchovies, it's all here. The deli menu is pretty diverse and not limited to Italian cold cuts. Around 20 subs if I remember correctly. However, I knew I wanted their classic Italian, Jerry's Classic Italian Sub (#1). This sandwich was wonderful. The usual suspects of Genoa Salami, Capicola and Smoked Ham were a joy to see. However, the two biggest takeaways were the roasted red peppers and marinated onions. I've eaten more Italian sandwiches than most, and I've never seen these both working in unison. As a roasted red pepper fan, I really like the addition. Additionally, the "ciabattini roll" was soft and flavorful, and the sandwich held up nicely. We ended buying some carrot cake and pantry items while we were there. It was gloomy out, but they actually have a few seats inside so we devoured our lunches inside. This place reminds me of my childhood and I'm so happy I finally got to experience it firsthand. Mangia!

    Fresh tiramisu- so much flavor!

Charming deli and neighborhood market with a wide array of groceries! The sandwiches here remind me of JP Grazianos in Chicago. We have had a few but my favorites are the Szechuan beef dip and muffuletta. Homemade Italian desserts like tiramisu! They have every soda, cbd drink, kombucha, and tea you can think of. Imported cheeses, spreads, chips, and bread from Italy. Super friendly service-a really unique spot!

Have you had a sandwich at Spinelli's Market? If the answer is no get in your vehicle and drive over right away. They are a hidden gem in Park Hill and the sandwiches especially are the BOMB! With a menu of 15+ choices plus create your own there's no shortage of choices. The meat and cheeses are high quality brands and all of the breads they use are fresh and tasty. My Italian Roast Beef was $12.99 before tax. No it's not an inexpensive sandwich. Yes it is very filling (two could easily share one sandwich and be satisfied) It does come with a pickle but chips or other sides are extra. There was so much roast beef on the sandwich (see picture). The marinated onions & peppers had vinegary flavor and the provolone cheese complements the other flavors. With lettuce, tomato and house dressing this sandwich is just a delight. I also love the aubergine almonds made fresh with oil, chilies and spices. So addictive. Spinellis also offers other market goods. They are higher end brands so this is not a replacement for King Soopers/Safeway.

Can't believe it took me so long to come here. This cute market has a great variety of things to choose from including some fresh bouquets of flowers. My mom and I got the turkey sandwich and it comes with a side of Mac salad or banana. the sandwich was great with really good toppings. Everyone working here was so friendly. I will def be frequenting this place.

Found this place on Yelp while looking for a good deli sandwich and when I went here that's exactly what I got. The bread alone is noteworthy. So many places just don't offer the kind of bread that a sandwich really needs in order to realize its full potential. This place does. Aside from the deli/sandwich counter in the back they also serve as somewhat of a grocery store. A full host of options from basic things you might need in a pinch, to a well curated selection of speciality items that may not be so easy to find in a typical grocery store. The service is consistent and friendly. The prices are right. Will definitely return.

Recently had the opportunity to visit Spinelli's for a sandwich. I had high hopes for the deli based on reviews and I know I didn't have the traditional Italian so it could change my feelings if I tried that instead. Personally I felt a little unimpressed, these sandwiches were fine and did the job but didn't blow my mind away. Usually for such high reviews, I'd expect either to have the basics done EXCEPTIONALLY well or have something brand new and never seen that takes my breath away. I didn't find either of those things at Spinellis. I think they're likely a great local grocery and quick lunch deli but not something I would be running back to. Maybe another time the other sandwiches will make me feel different. Service was great and everyone inside was very kind and welcoming, there isn't a ton of seating to eat at the location so you may be better off with a picnic or take home.

While the former Ambli space has been brightened and renovated to look very much like an east shore market, the seating is less than comfortable. I guess the combo of poor food, bad service and uncomfortable seating is great for turning tables? I will put aside the TERRIBLE service and focus purely on the food. We ate at Zaidy's for breakfast. Many of the breakfast sandwiches are based on their in-house-made bagels. This is a failure! The bagels taste stale for "freshly made" and I find it very odd for a Jewish-themed joint to toss bacon into the sandwich (I personally love bacon, BTW). So setting aside the shanda (shame) bacon...with the cheese, there is an utter lack of seasoning. The breakfast sandwich came with home fried potatoes which were cooked nice and crisp but lacking any seasoning whatsoever. The latke grilled cheese looks appealing but is basically a greasy sponge filled with limp tomato and undercoooked cheese. And finally, the blintzes are an embarrassment to any self-respecting Jew. Zaddy's version are these small pockets that are under fried and more the size of a hamantaschen than a true blinze. I see no reason to rush back. Another few blocks down the street is Sam's 3, where a far better breakfast could be realized and Rosenberg's bagel on Monoco for better bread (albeit that Rosenberg's doesn't serve sandwiches)

They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.

I love anything with pesto, and the mozzarella was perfectly melted. For drinks, we ordered an iced Very Cherry Matcha Latte with oat milk and a Honey Lavender Latte (hot). Unfortunately, once we left, we realized the cherry matcha was made as a coffee drink instead of matcha. We were pretty disappointed since we planned to split one matcha and one coffee. The cherry flavor was good, but I would've loved to try it as we ordered it. For the lavender honey latte, we could taste the lavender, but it didn't seem like any honey or sweetener was added. It ended up tasting extremely strong and not sweet at all, so we didn't really drink it. Overall, the bagels were amazing, but I wish there had been more attention to detail with the drinks.
