Decor is cute and there are a lot of plants inside. I met up with a friend and ordered a salted maple latte with oat milk as well as a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was a pretty good size for $12 and filled with egg cheese and potato, enough to where I had leftovers. My friend ordered a make your own bagel sandwich. The food came out quickly, even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Coffee was very good quality and they make their syrups in house! In addition to food and coffee, this spot also has a decent ice cream selection from Sweet Action, wine, cocktails, and beer. There are gluten free and vegetarian food options available. I've been meaning to stop in here for some time. I used to just down the street on Dexter in the 1960's. Every once in a while, I like to come visit my old neighborhood just for the memories. We like to go to the Cherry Tomato across the street because it was the Park Hill Drug Store when I lived on the block, but it doesn't open until later. So, this place is right across the street, and we stopped in. We were delighted. For us, it was just what a small cafe should be. It was open, friendly, and very good. I had the Vegetarian Green Chili, and found it to be as good, or better than any similar chili I've had in my entire life. I also had a plain, black coffee - dark roast - and it, too, was perfect. Most of all, I enjoyed looking around, watching the world go by, and enjoying these fine products in a friendly, comfortable, and inviting environment. There is plenty of room to move around, they do a good job of keeping things clean, and all of the staff are very nice, and accommodating. I do not live close to here, but I would come in every day if I did. I definitely will come back, and I definitely will recommend it to everyone I know. We LOVED it. read more

Cute, busy cafe in the Park Hill area. A large communal table is central to the indoor area, where you can find many people working on computers or poring over books and notes with highlighters. Great spot to work during on a weekday. My friend and I came during lunchtime on a Monday and there were a bunch of seats open, both indoors and outdoors. During lunchtime they do ask solo laptop workers to sit at the window seats or at the big communal table in order for groups to use the tables for lunch. There's also a nice selection of sandwiches and drinks. The space is just a super nice vibe, and having a spacious patio on a crisp fall day is a bonus! read more

First off, the vibes of this cafe is so cute. It feels very earthy and bright and welcoming. There are plenty of seating options and overall, it's great aesthetics. The drinks are okay. I ordered the matcha and for me, the matcha was very weak. This was a milky matcha. However, the pastries were delicious. It's enough butter and the fruit was plentiful. Overall, the pastry was super tasty and I would come back just for that when I'm in the area. Just moved to Denver and found this place coincidentally while riding bike. Super cute spot. Everyone was studying. Had a very chill vibe with big open doors/windows to enjoy the nice weather. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I had the B(S)T (spinach instead of lettuce) and it was awesome. They have tons of drink options and pastries that I had to fight temptation on. Honey Hill Cafe is a lovely spot. They've got a great outdoor area and an open vibe indoor area with a variety of seating options, though it does tend to fill up quickly during peak hours. I like coming here on a weekday morning and grabbing a bar seat by the window as they've got outlets there. It's also near one of their well cared for plants :) The coffee selection is expansive and everything I've ordered from them has been tasty - even fresh squeezed OJ which hits the spot. I've also enjoyed the food there, from their pastries to an everything bagel with lots of fixings to the most massive burrito. Prices are decent, but wouldn't consider it to be a cheap cafe. The ambiance is peaceful and busy with sunshine from the May windows! They had samples today of a pastry which encouraged me to buy a cinnamon bun or named differently. Very cute spot in Park Hill. Met my colleague here for obviously serious business talk (i.e. yap) earlier this week. There is a parking lot, though small, so I had to park on the street which was fine. There is a patio though a little too chilly right now to sit outside. Inside is super sunny (to the extent you may not want to sit at a table near the window) and I was impressed at the size of their menu. I just opted for a coffee on this visit, but they did have a lot of tasty looking breakfast/brunch type options. At one point, a guy sitting across from us got his burrito served and it was *massive* - we made eye contact with him and he said he was not expecting quite that size burrito. This is a great spot to just hang out and do some work or people watching alone or with a small group. Free wifi, decent amount of seating. This place came highly recommended from a friend who used to drive 40 minutes on a daily basis to hang here. After visiting here twice, I don't know if I agree with her. Matcha from here was very milk forward, would have liked to taste a bit more of the matcha powder itself. Pastry selection is always amazing. I've been here twice and this place seems to always be packed, line is out the door at times on the weekends. It is also incredibly difficult to find a seat and a parking spot in the area. Would come back for the pastries and ice cream, but not the most ideal location to work. Also, as others have noted, the prices for their items are not disclosed on their menu. Great trendy brunch spot! I'd never been here and I was on date so it was fun to try! Sorry no pictures. Plenty of street parking! There is a small parking lot behind the building but unless you're there as soon as they open, you have a better chance on the street. The line started as soon as you walk in but there were plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They had menus available before you got to the counter so you could look while standing in line. Friendly staff and all seemed excited to be there, even with a large crowd. I got the breakfast burrito! I go it without eggs and green chilies. I added sausage. My date ordered a breakfast burrito with everyone on it and no meat. He also got a drink. We got a little table number but they said to wait for the drink as those will be ready at the counter. It did take a while for the drink to be made. Our food was actually ready before the drink was and the waitress saw our number and saw us standing to the side and she knew we were waiting for a beverage. She said she will leave them under the heating lamp till we found a spot to sit. The drink was finally ready and we choose to enjoy the sunshine and sit outside! The waitress found us and brought the food to our table. The burrito was amazing! I don't like green chili and eggs so it's sometimes hard for me to order breakfast burritos since they are premade majority of the time. It was so delicious! I savored every bite! My date really enjoyed his! He said the green chili had a really good complimenting flavor to the burrito! Over all I thought this place was so cute and trendy and had amazing food! The drinks do take a while so be prepared to wait. They have a few gluten free options, although they need to separate these from the other pastries in the display cabinet. They have ice cream too, including a few vegan flavors! My new favorite coffee shop in Denver!!!!!! Located in city park area, this coffee shop has it all. I sat at this coffee shop from 7-4 getting work done and was very productive. There is a lot of available seating, indoor and outdoor, and high speed Wi-Fi. The coffee shop is very well decorated and I found the cutest note of encouragement. Their homemade syrups are amazing, I highly recommend the brown sugar cinnamon latte. I also had the spicy breakfast sandwich, it was delicious! Service is great, they bring the food out to you. I will definitely be back, I can't recommend this coffee shop enough. The foam was lackluster. * Bacon Cheddar Bavarian Pretzel ($10.50) - 3.5 stars I'm torn on this one because the pretzel itself was fresh made and delicious - soft, stretchy, with the right amount of crisp. However, I got it because I was excited about the bacon/cheddar, and when we started eating it, I brought it back because we did not see any bacon/cheddar anywhere. The first couple staff members I asked said other customers had inquired about this recently too, and they wondered if something was up with the batch. But then a different woman came out (maybe the chef?) and confirmed, yes this was the bacon cheddar pretzel, and it's on top, but you can't see it because it's baked in, and it's not big visible chunks. I can confirm that out of many bites we took, there was one in which my partner said, "oh I taste bacon!" The white cheddar dip was fantastic, but looking now at my receipt, I had no idea it would be $3 and I wish they'd mentioned that. read more

Came to Honey Hill Cafe for the first time today and I am in love with this place already. The space is super cool and they have a lot of seating indoors and out. They have plants all over and lots of antique decor along with great artwork. I loved the positive messages on the windows that you can write yourself. The menu has lots of delicious choices and I was very indecisive. They have a build your own breakfast sandwich with lots of ingredients to choose from. They also have a great coffee and tea selection too. I noticed their lunch menu starts at 11:30 and I would be really interested in trying that as well. I will 100% be back soon! read more

Greeted warmly by the staff, we found a large eating space with a combination of counter spots, a community table, 2 and 4-tops, and all were filled with a vibrant group of customers on a rainy weekend day. We ultimately chose the middle of the community table, and enjoyed meeting the nearby plant named Lola! (Hint: they're all named!) Open 7 AM-5 PM Monday through Sunday, Honey Hill features breakfast from 7-2 and also has lunch options from 1130AM-3 PM. Deep in its core, this family-owned business is a coffee/tea shop and they seemed to have a lot of variety. They feature local coffee brands and offer indoor and outdoor seating. In addition, they have great WiFi, salute local artists on their walls, have the cleanest and hippest gender-neutral restrooms I can remember, and their sustainable practices are terrific. They also featured post-it notes with clever and heart-felt comments all over one of the windows, a superb way for people to have a voice! They offer sandwiches, pastries, paninis, and salads, but I was thrilled with my order, a burrito with eggs, potatoes, and luscious spicy Green chiles in a delicious tortilla. It was fantastic! My Way Significant Other enjoyed her turkey panini, saying it was tasty and made to perfection. This place is the freaking cutest! It was only two blocks from out ab&b so we could walk. I've seen people complain about the prices not being shown, but they aren't steep. Not really a problem to us. We sat infront of the window so we could look outside and people watch. A little cold to sit on the patio still. The food was absolutely yummy. I have been here probably 10 times or so, and I want to love it. They have a nice selection of pastries, pretzels, ice cream, and drinks. The coffee is good. But the customer service and the cleanliness is so bad. I saw an employee playing with her hair, then with the same hand grab a cup with her finger inside the cup, gripping it, and use it for my coffee. Their fingers are always in the cups. They are touching phones then touching food. They will ring me up and then immediately grab a cup with the signature finger-on-the-inside Honey Hill grip. I've never seen anyone wash their hands. I've seen them drop cups and bags on the floor and then stack them back in the pile. I'm only taking the time to write a bad review in the hopes that the manager/owner sees it and realizes it is a problem.
