While we stayed at the Magnolia Hotel, I took advantage of the Fluid Coffee Bar, where I ordered my wife and me tea lattes and cold brews. The interior had no frills, with a high-top seating counter facing the shop windows overlooking the city street we were on and a small lounge with cushy chairs towards the back corner. The order counter with the refrigerated display stood across from the high-top seating. It was pretty narrow but not terrible to move around unless you had a few people waiting in line to give their orders. The servers behind the counter were friendly and chatty as I ordered my drinks. They also have pre-made breakfast burritos that they can heat up, and I ordered one of those. However, I wasn't that impressed with the one I ordered with bacon, but it did hit the spot when I was hungry. The cold brew was really good, and I think I ended up ordering another one to bring back to the hotel room, where my wife was awaiting her tea latte. Fluid is a good metropolitan coffee bar where you can grab a pick-me-up while walking around Denver's Central Business District or staying at the Magnolia like we were. read more

Quick, convenient and delicious. I'm not a coffee snob, but I kind of am. I just like my coffee black. No fancy milks, no pumps or this or that, just black no room. Their coffee was perfectly that. Hot, tasty, not over roasted, just great. While the place itself is small, it's more quaint than tight. They have outdoor seating and a cute section tucked in the back corner. Food options were not abundant, but their burrito choices are. I was very pleased with my green chile burrito, although I should've asked for more salsa (not sure if they have that). Overall, service was quick, they serve in environmentally friendly compostable cups, and even have a compost option next to their recycling and trash. Hooray. Stop by and give them a shot. I'm back here. The place looks essentially the same. Same great coffee, and today I had some tea. There is a drink on the menu called a squirrel, but I didn't get it. I asked what it was, and someone said that it was a small woodlands furry animal. Sounds delicious! A few pro tips: the seats by the entrance by the windows stay a little cooler and there is a little vibration when the light rail rolls through. Bathroom key is behind the counter, you know to keep the riff raff out. It's good to see this place is still around. That's a testament to their good coffee! read more

We decided to wha try fluid coffee bar. It looked like it had some good burritos. We got the chorizo and bacon burritos. The chorizo burrito was just OK. They're definitely not enough meat and too much potato in it. The bacon burrito was delicious. I got a large lavender latte that was OK. There wasn't much lavender flavoring in it. My partner got a vanilla latte which was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. There's lots of places to sit and look out at the street and people watch. read more

Here is my preface: this is a vegan coffee shop. I did not know it was a vegan coffee shop - it was simply attached to the hotel I was staying in. As a vegan shop, they only offer oat milk and almond milk for lattes. No frills, no seasonal flavors from what I could tell. This was not what I was looking for, but despite that, the oat milk latte was decent and the shop was clean, convenient, well-managed. Just be aware that this is more niche! On a special note, I had left my wallet there inadvertently and didn't realize it until after they closed. Stayed at the Embassy Suites down the street and wanted a local spot versus Starbucks for a quick breakfast as the free breakfast at the hotel was extremely busy. Got a regular black coffee which was good and a bacon burrito to go. I didn't have them warm it for me as I was just heading back to my room and it was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Since we are from out of town, we saw this place when searching for Coffee places and decided to check it out. We are so glad we did. Colie and Carter went above and beyond with their customer service. We ordered a Flat White and a Cortado. We also ordered a Sausage Burrito. This place is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. The menu is pretty clear with pricing and sizing which is pretty great because it makes picking and choosing way easier!!!! Other than that, there are signs which people abide by, which includes the 6ft rule! Next time, I will definitely hit up this spot as I would like to try out their other drinks! read more

Definitely on the more expensive side but if you have the money it's so worth it! My family got an iced chai latte with oatmilk, a vanilla latte, and "the groundhog." All were very good! Fluid's chai tea latte is perfect for a cool fall morning! At around 8:30 on a Friday, the line was almost out the door, but it moved fairly quickly. The baristas were friendly and very accommodating with ordering (many folks asked for a certain kind of milk, less of one ingredient, etc). If you like to work at coffee shops, there is some bar-style seating, but not an area to spread out at a table. Some music playing in the background, but not too loud. My chai was really yummy (hot enough to warm me up on a cool morning, but not too hot I had to wait 30 minutes to drink it) and came to about $4 for a small. I will be back! read more

Employees here look like dead zombies. The restroom is the door without anything on it, not the door with the restroom sign. I couldn't get the door open with the key so one employee helped me. Problem is he took the key back and while fully knowing I was in the restroom, gave the key to someone else, who opened the door while I was still inside. When I left, the lady who opened the door apologized to me and the employee overheard the conversation yet didn't say anything. Breakfast burritos here are not freshly made, they are premade in the fridge and they just heat it up for you. You decide if that's worth $10. read more
