We visited the Delectable Egg while in town for a conference. Our server, Nicole, was excellent! She was polite, professional, efficient, and simply on top of everything. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to address food allergy questions well. Most of us figured, when in Denver.........So we ordered the Denver omelets. The one person who didn't ordered simple bacon and eggs. The one Denver omelet that was a special order for the food allergies came out as ordered. Yes! All the food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot. Admittedly, at first we weren't sure about the Denver omelet, since we agreed that we'd never seen it served with a slice of deli ham and bell pepper on top before. At first glance we thought that was the only ham and pepper, but we quickly noticed that the omelets were actually packed full of goodies. Nicole offered alternative options to the one person who couldn't have bread, which was unusual and greatly appreciated! If you can get past that you will enjoy your experience. If you're staying in the Sheraton Hotel across the street you would immediately notice the contrast. In search for breakfast we found this cute place. Upon entering I was like "what a old fashioned restaurant ". It's been a while since I was in this kind of place. Most of the people were like 60 plus so me and hubby were the youngest. Lol (we are bot even that young). Anyway I order tea and I was impressed the way how they served. I was in Denver for a work meeting, and I ordered The Eggwich (with Egg Beaters), turkey bacon, house potatoes and sourdough toast. The scrambled eggs were solid, the sourdough bread was nicely toasted, and the portion of the house potatoes was very generous and well seasoned, but they were really greasy so I didn't eat most of them. I placed the order online and to-go so I don't have any comments on the table service. It was a little odd when I got there to pick up my order, they said they didn't have it in their system so one of the hostesses went to the back, and "found it". I waited in their front lobby which has benches with signs over them for Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc., which created a interesting to-go centric vibe, but it was convenient to have a place to sit while I waited for my food. Not sure if I would come back the next time I'm in Denver, but I might because of the convenient Downtown location, if I need a quick breakfast on the way to the office (I'll just skip on the house potatoes). read more

For food, we ordered their breakfast burrito w/ pork chili sauce and Meat Lovers omelette. Both were so yummy! Like we (me lol) were really shocked. I must note I prefer breakfast at home rather than out, but since we are traveling I have of course drifted to the breakfast menu items when out for brunch. Great "first-time-here" breakfast with my sister! Only a 15-20 minute wait near the bustling sidewalk last Sunday morning.
