Tried the Lemon crumble donut this week . It had a creamy lemon filling & was more amazing than the first donut !!

This cute brunch spot is a warm, cozy hug with Japanese flair. It's easy to miss from the outside, but the aura points for inside decor are off the charts. Made a reservation for 3 on a weekend and we were seated pretty quickly. Tables were consistently full and staff pretty busy, but the seats are spaced out enough that you don't feel like sardines. This is a place to find zen amongst the neutral and cool earth tones while eating food that is both nourishing and tasty. Food is all made to order in the tiny kitchen in back with generous portion sizes. I do recommend ordering a drink and pastries to nibble on while you wait for your entree. We loved the dishware and intentional presentation of each dish. Even the Aeropress coffee came in a beautiful ceramic carafe - although it was a little misleading given the actual quantity of coffee. Staff was super friendly and never made us feel rushed. The menu changes with seasonal themes and produce. Exhibit A, the Spooky Donuts with the cutest glazed spider donut hole on top. Donut was just alright, but we did really enjoy the sesame chocolate glaze. Exhibit B, Autumn Beans with pickled apricots and carrots that we saw being brought in fresh by one of the staff. The colors in each dish are vibrant and wholesome, with gentle seasoning. I often hate myself after eating a big brunch of skillets and waffles - not so here, where I was comfortably full without being nauseous from grease.

We walked in on Friday and unfortunately it was about to be 2PM and they couldn't seat us. (Sooooooooo sad) but a gentleman approached us and said that he could make a reservation for us for the next day. (That was really nice to offer) the next day we came one and all i have to say is this is how my favorite restaurant. The food was spectacular! The autumn beans had so much flavor it was incredible! The drinks were fantastic and the service was amazing. The whole vibe from the food to the atmosphere was amazing. I will be a regular here because it's really really really worth it.

Wow, that was an amazing lunch. The food was spectacular and healthy. The femal staff were friendly, helpful, and upbeat. It is a bit loud in there but they were kind enough to allow us to move to a less loud side. The decor was very cute. There is even a small patio with a pooch parking area. I had the bean soup with a lovely taste of pesto. Amazing. My friend had the Colorful Colorado that he was was really good. The plating on the dishes is exquisite. Oh, and the iced macha with maple syrup and soy was great. Highly recommend!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Diverse menu options, excellent drinks, and fast service any time of day. Stowaway is the perfect casual brunch spot but also works great for a mid day snack/bevie. I love this place for taking friends from out of town because the food is fantastic and there's so much to see in the nearby neighborhood. Cannot recommend stowaway enough!

Cute hip location that blends brunch with Japanese style. I got: Apple and cheddar scone - tasty! Not super flavorful but fluffy Tomato panzanella salad - so good! The croutons were amazing Oyako-don - also so good! Highly recommend

The service was great, the vibes were high, the food was delish! What else could you need? Y'all this was literally the best waffle I've ever had! The subtle salt on it is a game changer. Make sure to order one for the table to share. I really loved all the art they had displayed through out the restaurant. The coffee and donut were just * okay * to me but everything else was great!

I used to live in Denver and this was my go to spot for brunch. I love it so much. I get the Japanese breakfast every single time. Except this most recent visit, they were out of the salmon but substituted it with the chicken per my request. It's such a cozy environment, great tunes, and welcoming service. I think I've been here more than five times and visit Denver often so I always make sure to have a reservation (highly recommended). The restaurant is in the RiNo Art District, a prime location that is walkable with cool street art and the Denver Central Market nearby so be sure to take a walk after.

On a recent Friday off, I found myself a bit stir crazy and incidentally underfed. I entertained the idea of going out for a late breakfast/brunch and coffee, but with my former neighborhood haunt now closed, I wasn't sure where to go. Then I remembered a fellow food enthusiast friend had recommended Stowaway Kitchen. How I missed out on this place before, I'm not quite sure, but it was the perfect remedy. I arrived around 10:40am and was quoted a half hour (it went faster than that). Other groups continued to arrive during this time, so as others note you can expect some degree of a wait. It did get much quieter around noon, although perhaps that was because it was technically a weekday. The dining room is light and airy, sort of perfect daytime vibes all around, and it felt like a good place to catch up with a friend, or in my case, your own thoughts. The menu has a diverse set of beverage options, including an array of tea choices, Japanese influenced lattes (Matcha & Hojicha), coffees and also alcoholic options. Given my food choices I stuck with a 'batch brewed' coffee, but I wouldn't say that was plain fair given the great roaster used and light and dark choices. (Also comes with a free refill.) The food choices were honestly hard. I was strongly drawn to the Japanese fare, but ultimately decided on a sampling of the seasonal waffle (Sweet Potato Cheesecake) and the ever popular Colorful Colorado. The waffle was honestly perfection; crisp edges with a soft chewy interior, and the sweet potato cheesecake component along with crunchy granola bits made it super unique. Also props for the adorable bottle of syrup that came table side. The Colorful Colorado was a nice veggie forward option. I got mine with just avocado, but I do think if you eat meat, the ham might help bring the flavors together more. The potatoes are served large format, so not like a hash. (I wouldn't have minded those with more of a roasted rather than boiled texture.) The pickled radishes and spicy sauce provided some contrast. And a special shoutout to the poached eggs, which were expertly done. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the other items. It was clear from my corner view that the service here is an upbeat model of efficiency. My server noted they've been open for ten years, and I think in the hard business of operating a restaurant in Denver, that tells you everything you need to know.

Running to RiNo for a bit of outdoor gear shopping (thanks Patagonia) with some family in town for a weekend trip, I had passed Stowaway and looked the menu up for a quick lunch out. The menu stood out and did not disappoint. The decor is warm and fun, but not more than the absolute 11/10 service. I couldn't stop singing the praises of the staff and the food with my table mates while at the restaurant, and after. The Colorful Colorado is the flagship dish, and deservedly so, with well-balanced flavors and colors. This and the Kara-a-ge Chicken Sando were a delish split. We had little ones with us and were delightfully accommodated with kind interactions and a simple waffle (not on menu). It's so easy to over research before eating out. Even if I had expectations going in, the food and service would have blown me out of the water. Easily a new Denver fav haunt.

I am usually not a brunch girl, or am I? I have been converted, this is the BEST brunch place I ever tried. The place itself is super cute, the service is very quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I wanted to go there again if it wasn't closed the next day but this is a MUST. I absolutely loved the scram breakfast sandwich and the strawberry yuzu waffles! The duderino is such a delicious take on espresso martinis. Overall I highly recommend! 1000/10

What a cute breakfast spot in RiNo!!! I really liked their diverse menu items featuring a variety of flavors, especially Japanese cuisine. I can't wait to return and try more menu items. Iced matcha with oat milk eggplant + halloumi sammie (roasted eggplant + roma tomato, grilled halloumi, tahini sauce, fresh greens + house made giardiniera on toasted ciabatta roll)

Went here in 2024 and lost the name of the restaurant but I just found it!! I order a poke Asian cushion type bowl and it was so good! it had seaweed, salmon, rice, poached egg, and avocado. Definitely recommend this cute place

As always, the menu has plenty of wine, cocktails, and coffee/espresso drinks. I went with the espresso martini. It was excellent. Although Flora is coming up on their year anniversary, the seating is not super comfortable. While everything was chosen to match the decor, wicker chairs and loose benches were not my favorite. Also, the "busing" area is next to the water station so it feels messy/dirty/cluttered. Cute and would go back for sure if the opportunity arises.
