A creative breakfast/lunch sandwich joint with old school hip hop and R&B going the whole time And honestly who doesn't love your table number being a picture of Tupac? I got the side of pasta salad, the Lemongrass Beefy Crunch sandwich, and a seasonal menu item. The Lemongrass Beefy Crunch was so good, the beef was very flavorful and the slaw gave a perfect texture variation to the sandwich. The seasonal item was so fun, a cherry scone with fruit preserves, hot honey (I think!), pork belly, and a fried egg. Sweet and salty, and such a fun combination and I love when places put together unique dishes like that. They also have essentially their full menu but the vegan/vegetarian versions available down to the sauces which is incredible if that is something you're looking for. And the ambiance doesn't stop there, the playlist was all old school R&B and was just perfect. The food also does not disappoint. It's hot, satisfying, and the hashbrown-in-the-sandwich move is breakfast genius. You'll start comparing all other breakfast sandwiches to this one...and they will lose. Coffee is made to order like a specialty coffee shop, not the sad batch brew life. Delicious. And yes, there's creative booze too. The Hibiscus Margarita ($12), plus local drafts like a Ratio rotation ($7). They also have a plant-based menu, including the Vegan Basic ($14.50)...I stopped there but you don't have to. How it works: you order at the counter, then grab a seat. They give you a fun table finder and your food is brought to you. Self-serve water and soda station is easy. What really stands out is the service: the chef who runs your food actually checks if you need anything, and the manager does a check-in too. That's rare and it shows. Shoutout to Ryan too. I'm open minded about music, some say my taste in music is rather eclectic. So, on this hot summer day, I thought my fam would go get the FAMOUS burgers that all the YouTubers rave about. Such an experience! I recently ate at boombots pasta, owned by the same people and loved it so i knew i had to come try the original concept, Odie B's. It's in a great spot on the corner in rino, allowing for lots of windows and natural light and a very fun and funky space. Love the flavor of the place, with lots of cool stuff on display, funny signs, giving personality to the place. Their menu was ALL stuff i wanted to try. Every sandwich was unique and sounded so good. Cari, who was working behind the counter, was so sweet and gave her recommendation so i tried the lamb birria sandwich - so good. The meat was really tender and this thing was the size of my thigh, way bigger than i thought. But so good. I also had an iced latte with some peppermint pump - also delicious. My friend had the chicken biscuit, and said it was really good and stacked so tall. The chicken was a little dark and crusty though, as if the frying oil was old. Flavors were on point though. We stopped here before our concert at Mission for Happy Hour - nice that it goes until 6PM! It's in a pretty quiet part of RiNo; the interior of the restaurant is I think meant to create a nostalgic atmosphere. My husband and I each got the Mighty McCombo, him getting the lil burgie and myself getting the lil clucker. The burgie was definitely better; the tots that came with each were perfectly fried and seasoned. The dilly onions and sauce were too sweet - I've found a lot of burgers in Denver are more sweet than savory for some reason I cannot understand. Buns are good though and patty was fine. Expensive, for one. Over $50 for a burger, falafel wrap, fries, 1 beer, and tip. Burger seemed overcooked, the fried also were overcooked and tasted as though they weren't fresh and had just been "re" fried to warm them up. The falafel wrap has weird pockets of extra spice/spicy and the beets provided a weird hard, bullet texture. This place is a 5min walk from Catbird hotel (Where we usually stay) so we were really happy to find a convenient place to grab breakfast. They have GF buns you can sub for most of the sandwiches. I got the Bougie (no pics). After trying the bun, which looks homemade, I looked at the lid of my takeout container again to confirm it was GF & it was! The GF bun was seriously INCREDIBLE!
