Solid burger experience, known for over the top combinations. You can choose from lots of options or BYO, and then dial in your size and protein, which is nice. Came in for lunch with my family and Mary Jane was our bartender. She was SO sweet and made phenomenal recommendations; I normally only drink Angry Orchard (transplant from Texas) but she recommended Locust Honey Pear cider and that will definitely be my new go to. The Mac and cheese bites were super crispy and flavor. The burger portions are massive, and the fries/onion rings/wedges were super crispy and seasoned well. I have been to this location a few times and it is pretty solid. I still think the original is the best but this one works for when we are in the area. I typically sit at the bar and haven't had any issues with service. They are always polite, quick and helpful with suggestions. I will say it seems weird that they are always so dead. I don't typically see anyone seated in the back areas when I go to the restroom. Just empty space. This last time I ordered the lunch special which was a little cricket burger with cheese and a cup of the soup of the month, which was broccoli cheddar. The food arrived and my burger was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The soup was not broccoli cheddar, it tasted like a potato bacon, which I also really like so I didn't say anything. Not sure if the soup changed or they didn't update the menu, but either way it was good and a good amount of food. I would get that lunch combo again. They also always have a great beer selection. We went to a concert at Coors Field recently and searched for restaurants nearby. This location is closely located to Coors field and perfect for a great meal, ambiance, and a fun time. We were expecting the restaurant to be busy given the location, but we were seated right away and sat by the windows. We had the perfect viewing spot to see the lines at Coors Field from our seat and enjoy the nice weather. Our server was fantastic. My friend and I discussed eating family style and splitting our burgers and sides so we could try different options. Our server noticed that we were ordering together and asked if we were splitting our food. She then offered to half our burgers for us so they were served split up which was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered the Cricket Royale which is a 1/2 pound cricket burger, swiss cheese , duxelles, caramelized onions, roasted garlic & onion jam, garlic aioli, crispy onion strings, pretzel bun. We also ordered the Vera Cruz which is a 1/2 pound cricket burger, pepper jack cheese, bacon jalapeño jam, crispy onion strings, chipotle aioli. For our sides, we ordered the fries and steak fries. We thought the Cricket Royale might have a heavy onion flavor with the caramelized onions, garlic and onion jam, and crispy onion strings, but our server assured us that it wasn't too onion-y so we followed her recommendation. Let's call it 3.3 stars. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm. It was ok. Service was slow. They give a huge water glass. I'm glad cause refills didn't happen til end of meal. Beer I ordered (Coors lite of course) took awhile to get. I had one of their signature burgers on pretzel bun med rare and onion rings. You could tell my meal sat for a while at Expo as the bottom bun was saturated and rings cold. The flavor of the meat was good, nice sear and crust. Was more medium than medium rare. Rating the bar only with to-go drinks. The bar staff was extremely efficient and quick, I decided to pop in and get a to-go beer for an open mic event I was attending that was BYOB. The bartender took my order got my beer and cashed me out all while I was waiting on my Uber, this was on a Friday night and Valentine's Day, so I was very impressed with that. For dinner we decided to go visit the downtown location, anticipating a comparable exceptional experience.
