    Cup- Pork Green Chili
    Andrew J.

I came back to try the fancy $20 for 8 big Campfire Wings and a few other things I missed last time. The wings were cooked right, and the BBQ sauce was thick and proper. I wish I had tried the Hot wings though because these were mild and the dill ranch dressing was watery and thin. I also ordered a cup of Colorado Chili AND a cup of Pork Green Chili. The Colorado was standard and mild. Fresh, but I needed to add salt for flavor , which is fine. The Green Chili was thick and had more flavor, but this review is a note to my future self to not order these chili's again. I like this place, and the service is good, so I'm sure I'll be back, but I'll get sriracha or Tabasco to go with it then.

I walked in without a reservation and was seated right away. The staff was really friendly and we had a bit of small talk before I ordered my food. I got the short rib stragonoff, which was recommended to me as a customer favorite. I liked it - the meat was very tender and had a good ratio to the pasta and sauce. One thing to note: this restaurant automatically added a restaurant impact surcharge of 3.5% to my bill without my knowledge. This seems to be somewhat common among restaurants in Denver but is something to look out for.

Thanks to Yelp reviews we checked this place out. We were seated and greeted right away. Our server was a sweetheart. I forgot his name but he said he's usually behind the bar but he picked up this extra shift. Lucky us. He was very informative about the area and gave us some tips of what to do. I ordered the pumpernickel Reuben and substituted grilled asparagus for the fries. Worth the $2 upcharge. Service was great, atmosphere trendy, and anywhere that plays country music is a plus in my book.

What an amazing place this was that I stumbled upon. The service here was top notch above par all the way around. The server was on point each time and ensured we never ran out of anything. The food was cooked to absolute perfection. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather and ended up sticking around a few hours for some drinks after dinner. Definitely would come back here again and again and again

Ambiance 3 for loudness, 4 for theme Service 4 out of 5 - service was friendly but slow Food 4 out of 5 I had chicken pot pie at the recommendation of our server. It was very good, but lacked salt/pepper which was easily remedied. Another in our group really liked the short rib stroganoff. They have an interesting menu with a wide variety of drinks and food options.

We ate here before seeing a show at the Paramout. I loved this place before when it was Marlowe's (MANY year ago!) so maybe I went with high expectations? The building itself is beautiful so there is a star for that and the cowboy art on the wall. We ordered some whiskey drinks that did not dissapoint. The Peacemaker is very booz forward, while the Big Blue Bear is milder. Our service was nice and quick. We decided to start with an app of Artichoke dip. It came out in a skillet, but was not very hot. The cheese on top was not melted and I had to use a knife and fork to cut it up rather than dip bread in it. It was tasty all the same but would have been much better and more enjoyable had it been thorougly cooked. This put us off a bit, so we opted to skip the entree and go straight for dessert. The Burbon Peach Crumble is also served in a skillet, and - you guessed it - also lukewarm. It made for a very dense hard to spoon out experience. If it had been hot like one would expect in a skillet, I believe it would have been better. The photos on their website look really great and the two dishes I mentioned look like they are cooked much better than what we recevied. Maybe we just had an off night, I am not sure. I am uncertain if we are up for trying again....

I had a brisket sandwich and it was great! The meat was tender and the BBq sauce was very tasty! It was so good, I forgot to take a "Before" pic!

16th St. is full of really cool restaurants and this is one of them. Has a real wild West vibe and lots of stuff on tap and nonalcoholic options! Went with friends and we all had different things and it was all really good and beautifully plated! Our server was a new trainee and he was great and his trainer was also amazing

Good food! We ended up trying all the deserts on their menu. The chocolate cake and the carrot cake were the winners. Although very heavy and rich, they were delicious! The interior of the restaurant is v well done!

    Green Chili Fried Chicken Sandwich
    Brittney W.

West Saloon hit all the right notes for a casual, satisfying meal. I ordered the Green Chile Chicken Sandwich with a side salad, and both were genuinely delicious. The salad was fresh, crisp, and way better than your typical "just‑because" side--thoughtful toppings, good texture, and a dressing that actually had flavor. The Green Chile Chicken Sandwich was the real standout. The chicken was tender, the green chile added just the right amount of heat and smokiness, and the whole thing came together in that perfect comfort‑food way that makes you want to take your time with every bite. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, and the food felt like it was made with care. West Saloon is definitely one of those spots you're happy to stumble into and even happier to return to.

The food was amazing! The service slow and unfriendly. We had the spinach dip 7.5/10 little heavy but tasty. The wings 10/10 if you like Smokey these were incredible. Fajita salad 8.5/10 has a Spivey kick to it but so good. Chilli 9/10 it' has large Chunks of beef very good! Service was slow and the server barely checked on us.

Ate here one evening after a long conference day. Its a big restaurant on 26th street mall so lots of tourists or people visiting for conferences. The food is good and service is reasonably fast, but I do thinks its over priced. $25+ for a bowl of pasta...our waiter was very friendly and knew the menu well. They were super busy but he did his best to be attentive.

West Bacon Cream Cheese Burger. Was fine. Nothing to write home about

I went on a Tuesday afternoon when it was slow. Service was fine. Food was average. The best part was the ambience within the restaurant itself. With all the great reviews on yelp I was pretty underwhelmed with the burger. I also got the Colorado chili. It was good, not great. Same with the fries. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Wasn't a bad experience but was just underwhelmed.

Hi... thinking of bringing my 94 mother down to the restaurant...I notice the bathrooms are downstairs... is there an elevator? Thanks.

Yes! I am here now so asked.. and there is an elevator that goes to the downstairs bathrooms!

Is there parking for this restaurant?

There are off street and parking garage options for the 16th St Mall. If you are ordering take out, or have passenger loading needs, our front door is located on the Glenarm side of our corner and has a designated zone for such uses.

Warm, happy to have us there, easy to talk to. I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about a bloody mary, and a minute or two later Ryan asked if he should get that bloody started. He'd caught it in passing conversation, not because he was hovering. That's a hard balance to strike and he nailed it all afternoon. The drinks were great. Nothing fancy on my end, a bloody mary, a shaken screwdriver. Not too strong or weak. Sounds simple, but a lot of bartenders can't consistently hit it! We all got eggs your way, simple stuff done well. The roasted fingerling potatoes were crispy outside, fluffy inside, super good!! The strawberry jam was giving homemade, but I didn't confirm. Overall, Ryan made the visit. Calm presence, good company, and there's nothing better than a brunch seat at his bar next to those big open windows!

Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Overall, great first Denver meal; good beer, mostly good food, and a relaxed spot that made for a solid welcome to the city.
