We found this brewery online after seeing its excellent ratings and decided to give it a try before our Mile High Stadium tour, which was conveniently located just down the road. It turned out to be a great decision. We were lucky enough to visit during their weekend brunch specials, offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I ordered the crispy cheese burrito, which was generously sized and very flavorful. I also enjoyed a flight of craft beers that showcased a wide variety of styles, from Mexican lagers to rich stouts. My son was equally pleased with his fish sandwich and fries. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient, and the food arrived quickly after ordering. The brewery offers several seating options, including patio seating, an upstairs patio, and bar seating. Since it was around 90°F that day, we appreciated being able to relax comfortably inside the air conditioning. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. This place was so good! We came in from Vegas 2 years ago and found it again today. It is still as yummy. Today we came during a really weird Monday rush. There were only 3 girls working the whole place and you can tell they were slammed. These girls still sat us, ordered, and got us food like it was nothing. They didn't skip a beat at all. I'm so impressed with all three of them. The food is so tasty!! We came back because the buffalo cauliflower was the best and we came back for it. This time we tried the pretzel bites and beer cheese and it didn't disappoint. All the food was good. Even my kids ate and they could be the pickiest eaters I've ever met. I ordered off the happy hour menu - which I would recommend - I think they have a great happy hour. Got the chicken slider, burger, and a beer. The chicken slider was good - toppings were a nice touch and elevated it. Light breading, and juicy. The burger was great - nothing over the top - just a solid cheeseburger with a good sauce, and potato chips to go with it. I have had good experiences here, and love the rooftop too. Will definitely return and recommend if you're in the area looking for a drink or quick bite. This is my second visit to this place so I feel like I need to review it. Sat at the bar with a friend and we each decided on a beer to start. We ordered the Rosemary fries which were very crispy and fresh do they did not last long. The bartender was very nice and was very attentive. I decided on the wings and my friend ordered a spicy burger. I got a full order of wings and they come out with lots of celery carrot which I love. I always get dry rub and sauce on the side so I can control the mess and the sauce. My friend's burger looked fantastic and it came with homemade chips which, were some of the best I've ever had! Their beer list is many and what I had I enjoyed. They also have a list of cocktails and wine. There's outdoor seating at ground level and a roof that has tables and a bar. We came to Briar Common the day after moving to Denver, and it ended up being exactly the kind of spot we needed after a long weekend of hauling boxes and settling in. Great location, relaxed vibes, especially on a Sunday evening. The beer was solid, but the food stole the show (mostly across the board). Most of our group was happy with their dishes. I had the steak sandwich with a side salad, and the sandwich was top tier. I'm a sucker for a good sandwich, and this one absolutely hit the spot. It was also pretty large, which made it more of a fork-and-knife situation than a handheld one, but no complaints there. A few people in our party upgraded their sides to the sweet potato fries, which were next level. Perfect balance of crispiness with a hint of sweetness that made them stand out. One miss in the group was the mac and cheese; my sister ordered it and wasn't a fan, felt it was too liquidy/runny and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Only minor knock overall was that the kitchen was pretty slow, especially considering it wasn't very busy late on a Sunday evening. Not a dealbreaker, but something worth noting if you're in a hurry. Date night with another couple and were excited to try Briar Common Brewery. First - super cool building. Love the vibes, the interior decor and second floor + outdoor patio options. We didn't take advantage of the patio vibes or rooftop deck with a fire pit, but this is still on our list! While waiting for a table, we cozied up to the bar and ordered drinks. One of the bartenders noticed I ordered the hibiscus margarita and asked me, offhandedly, if I was a fan of spice. Yes, please. With that, he cancelled my order and made me something "not on the menu" but what I called the "Patrick special." So good. Thanks, sir! We ordered burgers and shared their buffalo cauliflower starter. This, my friend, was absolutely amazing. Loved the buffalo spice paired with the bleu cheese. Easy way to enjoy some veggies. And along the same theme, I ordered the Buff and Bleu burger. This was so good, so flavorful and so messy. Don't judge me, but I resorted to using my fork, lol! It was so well balanced. Will have again. Parking here means street parking, but there were plenty of open spots on a Saturday night. The walk was nice. We can't wait to return, maybe on a game day, or maybe to enjoy Sunday brunch on the rooftop. Maybe a sunset for another date night. Great spot tucked right into the neighborhood. As much as Denver has grown this place looks and feels like what I knew from nearly 20+ years ago. The staff is down to earth and welcoming. Even though we came on a slower night it just felt good as the restaurant was slowly filling up. I ordered the Pub Nachos but silly me I forgot to add a protein. My bad but I would certainly return to do just that and spend some time hanging out a bit. The nachos were good as is and the homemade chips had the texture of plantains but not really. tough to describe but overall I would certainly order them again. Wanted a nice, relaxing meal when we arrived to Denver, and Briar Common checked all the boxes! We sat in their outdoor patio, which kept us shaded from the heat and had a nice breeze with a view of the park. Plus, they allow dogs on their patio. Always a bonus! So many delicious options. After looking it up, we knew we had to try their Buffalo Cauliflower. And oh my god - the reviews didn't lie but still somehow undersold this cauliflower. Perfectly crisp and smothered in a creamy buffalo sauce. We got it as an appetizer to share for the table, but it would've been just as good as a meal as well. Their Filet o Beer sandwich was also tasty, and I found myself really enjoying the fries, too. Not often do you enjoy both, but here that was the case. Great drink, options. Their Lost Summer Days Sangria was delicious. They also make a good espresso martini. Fan of Earl Grey? Then you'll love their Fade to Black - always a rarity to find Early Grey-flavored drinks, but they crafted this so well. Service was incredible. Wish I remembered her name, but our server was fantastic. I mis-ordered a drink, but didn't say anything because it was my fault. She heard me mention it, though, and offered to make a new one. So sweet! Parking wasn't too bad - we found street parking right across the street. I hate to leave bad reviews but unfortunately this place just completely missed the mark for me. Prior to our reservation, I tried calling 10+ times through the day (during business hours) because we needed to update our reservation. However, no one answered the phone once. Other people in the reservation even tried calling in case it was my phone that was the issue but it was not. Once we arrived, staff were very kind and attentive to our table which was very appreciated. I have nothing but kind words to say about the staff. However, I ordered the Mac n cheese which came out practically like soup. The sauce was very liquidy so I felt like I was drinking my Mac. Unfortunately, I did not eat much because of this. The sweet potato fries were delicious especially with the cinnamon on them. My friends ordered burgers and enjoyed their meals. Overall, the restaurant had a cool vibe to it and the drinks were great. The Buffalo Cauliflower was very good, and the blue cheese sauce was nice and creamy with just a hint of the blue cheese tang without it being overpowering. Only issues (and no deal-breakers, just minor complaints) were the Rosemary Fries needed *lots* more rosemary, and the service was... not slow, but, lackidaisical is probably the best word. We stopped in before a concert at the stadium and it was definitely a mistake. We had multiple issues with ordering our food, receiving the right drink and apps order and then trying to get the bill corrected. It was a mess! The manager said he was going to comp our food bill but what really happened was our food order was never put into the kitchen, so there was nothing to "comp". Another sever let us know of the mistake instead of the manager. I realize it was a busy night but the restaurant should staff correctly on nights events are happening close by to capture that local and entertainment business. I will not be back. read more

The server was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Husband got a beer and a Ruben sandwich. He really enjoyed both. I tried the chips that came with the sandwich and they were too salty for me. I got the small plates Mac and cheese and it was enough food for my dinner. My partner got the poke nachos, I think they could have been a little more generous with the fish portion and the chips were a bit on the stale side but the sauces and flavors on the nachos were pretty good. I'm not really used to having pickled onions on my poke nachos, but they had it here and it was alright. I got the chicken plate which was fried chicken, cheesy garlic mash, and the mixed berry compote. The batter on the chicken was tasty and i enjoyed the compote...the mash was a bit on the salty side but wasn't too bad. For dessert, we got the salted caramel brownie, which was a nice shareable portion. Very decadent and rich though, so does get a bit heavy over time. We ended up leaving maybe 1/5 of it leftover. Ambiance is fine, kinda small inside but the day we went it was pretty dead...not sure how busy it can get on the weekends though Parking is just whatever is available on the street, just follow the signs on the street and you should be okay. We used to love coming here, one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood but lately it's been so disappointing. The service is minimal and the ticket times are 20+ minutes even for just a single burger. Unfortunately the staff seems rushed and unbothered and while the beer is still a smash, the vibes just aren't worth it anymore. Especially if you sit outside which is such a nice area, they don't serve you at all. We also couldn't spot a single person who appeared to be a manager on duty. We want to keep giving Briar a chance but lately we keep leaving disappointed and our visits have become less frequent. Hopefully something turns around but in the meantime can't say I recommend this spot like I used to. read more

My girlfriend and I recently dined here and left feeling disappointed by the service we received. Our waitress, Delaney, was inattentive throughout the meal and came across as having an attitude from the beginning. At one point, she tossed utensils onto our table rather than setting them down, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. What bothered us most was that she seemed particularly dismissive and disrespectful toward my girlfriend, which made an already uncomfortable situation even worse. Instead of enjoying our time together, the experience left us feeling tense throughout the meal. We also noticed that other tables around us appeared to be having similar issues, including long waits for checks and missing items from their orders. The restaurant was clearly experiencing service problems that day. We came in looking forward to a nice meal and a pleasant evening together, but the poor service made it difficult to enjoy the experience. I would almost put money on betting that was hooters hot wing sauce they used. The weirdest part was I went to the bathroom and there was a line, so a bartender told me there was another one upstairs. Went up there and the soap dispenser ended up being broken. Our families recently hosted our children's engagement party at Briar Common, and it was one of those rare experiences where everything was even better than we had hoped. From our first meeting, General Manager Jenn Thompson made us feel like our celebration was just as important to her as it was to us. She took the time to listen to the ideas from both me and the bride-to-be's mother, answered every question, and guided us with excellent recommendations for the menu and beverage selections. Her experience and attention to detail gave us complete confidence that the evening would be a success. When we arrived, everything was exactly as planned. Jenn showed us the best spots for family & friend photos, suggested the perfect location for a gift table, and even helped us set up our decorations. It was such a relief to know we were in capable hands. The staff Jenn selected were phenomenal. The food came out at just the right pace, empty dishes and glasses disappeared almost magically, and every member of the team was friendly, professional, and attentive. They struck the perfect balance of making sure everyone's needs were met while allowing us to enjoy time with our guests. The private top-floor event space was ideal. It was a hot July day. Having both the cool indoor air conditioned room and the shaded rooftop gave our guests options, and everyone commented on what a wonderful venue it was. The Cajun fries had some good spice to it without being too spicy, and the steak was cooked medium rare and tasty!
