As soon as I walked in, I knew this was it - my proper intro to Denver dining! From start to finish, I was carefully taken care of, introduced to the menu and suggestions, and even given a sweet n' savory treat-their chickpea croquettes! Outside dining was perfect for a light and breezy night. Thank for such a wonderful dining experience. You made this lady's tummy very happy - from the delicious trout, to the dancing-in-my-seat Elote Hash, you all won me over!

I came here with my sister for happy hour after work on a Wednesday. We got a variety of apps and some drinks and enjoyed all of it. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly warm and attentive. The Mac & Cheese was my favorite. It was creamy, cheesy, and the shells were cooked perfectly with the breadcrumbs adding the perfect crunch. The Caprese was unique, this was the first time I'd had it with cucumber. I enjoyed it, and the pink peppercorns and sauce were well balanced. My sister enjoyed the blue corn empanadas. The butterscotch pudding was delicious, smooth, and not too sweet. The ambiance was inviting with inside and outside seating available. I loved the small plates aspect and would absolutely come back. Thank you!

Sit back, relax, and let the kitchen do the Work. Had a great dinner at this snug and slightly edgy restaurant. I recommend reservations for peak times as seats fill up fast, and yes, space is tight in here. There's a covered patio with some counter seating that is still partially used during winter, but I wouldn't count on finding a seat for a party of larger than 2. Parking, as typical of this area of RiNo, is a bit tricky so expect to walk a few blocks if you drive. The lighting is moody and volume can get pretty loud, between the music, chatter, and kitchen, so be warned if you're not a fan of that kind of environment. Okay, onto the good. It is child-friendly, and staff are happy to pull up a high chair on request. Staff - another delight, super friendly and flit between tables with speed and fluidity that doesn't seem possible with the narrow gaps between tables. The most breathing room you'll get is when you make your way down the hallway to the restroom. The menu is set up to be shareable, but you could also just go solo and try a few things as portion sizes can be tailored to the party and your appetite. E.g., add on another cornbread muffin or empanada to your apps, and choose your poundage of protein. The proteins were the highlights of the meal, with oh-so-tender short rib, birria style absolutely melting in our mouths and a picahna that if you closed your eyes, you'd think was coming from a classy Brazilian steakhouse. The appetizers and sides were tasty but not standout. The tuna on our sope was so fresh, but the sope itself was a little dry and tough. Blue corn empanadas and brussels sprouts did not leave an impression. Similarly, this isn't a place I think I'd come for drinks since the cocktails were just okay. The prices are reflective of chef's notoriety, ingredients, and quality, but the wallet will still hurt. I'll be coming back to check out some more rotations and creations of the meats and go easy on the apps!

What a solid spot! We came for the happy hour (5-6) and we really enjoyed it! We got 3 beers, 4 dishes off happy hour and the biscuits off the regular menu and it was $85 with tip! Not terrible! Inside was smaller than I expected but they did the best they could. Seating runs along each wall with a long dining table in the middle for multiple parties. We got the biscuits (AMAZING), the pork bbq wings (delicious), the lamb eggrolls (really didn't like) and the chicken pot pie (wow omg good)

Checked out this spot for dinner this evening and I must say Work & Class lives up to its reputation. Although the portion size is small the flavors are HUGE! All of the plates I ordered paired exceptional together and I would recommend all of the following: The coriander lamb, the brisket, the jalapeño cornbread, and the green chile Mac n cheese. I loved all of these dishes and I was extremely satisfied with this dinner! I finished it off with the seasonal palisade peach tort and boy am I glad I did because this entire meal just knocked my socks off!!! Highly recommend this spot!!!

We had a great experience here and left really impressed. We ordered the empanadas to start, then the lamb and steak with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and finished with the banana foster cheesecake. The lamb was excellent, but the sweet mashed potatoes absolutely stole the show and easily the best thing we ate all night. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. For an appetizer, two meats, two sides, and dessert, our total came out to $88, which felt like a great value for the quality. Overall, it left a really good impression and we'd definitely come back again.

Went to dinner after a long work day and it was just what I needed. Everyone was cheerful and nice. We got a seat at the chef's counter and I was SO impressed - I spoke to one of the 3 cooks briefly and he confirmed they were the ones cooking and prepping all the food. The restauramt was busy, our food was delicious and came out very efficiently so I was amazed by this 3-person team. Our server, T, was also phenomenal - just a genuinely nice and easy-going personality! I spilled water at some point and the staff was even really gracious and cracked a couple jokes to put me at ease. I was happy with the food choices. It was a mix of HH and regular dinner menu. The Smoked Picanha and Lamb were both good but the lamb was cooked perfectly and was my favorite. We also got the plantain empanadas, chicken pot pie, and fries - solid choices. The pot pie had a flaky crusted top and fries ended up being a nice late night snack. Drinks: Sesame Piña Margarita, and Blood Orange Tomato Basil Gin cocktail

Worth the Uber ride! We had an incredible dining experience at this hip, vibrant spot. From the moment we sat on the patio by the windows, the vibe was on point. We kicked things off with the Peach Peppercorn Tea and Ratio Sparks Fly IPA--both were standouts. For food, we went all in: trout, lamb, chicken, and Chickpea Croquettes. Every dish hit the mark. The trout was flaky and packed with flavor, the lamb was cooked to perfection, and the chicken was juicy and seasoned just right. And that dipping sauce for the croquettes? I don't even know what it was, but I'd bottle it if I could. For dessert we had the Butterscotch Pudding and it was so good! The food was great and the service was fantastic! Honestly, I wish I lived here so I could make this a regular spot. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in town.

4.5, rounded up! W&C has been on my list to try for what feels like years, and it was time to make it happen! We went on the early side on a Saturday and got counter seats without a wait, woo! The food was solid and I loved our friendly, helpful server. It's happy hour from 5-6, so we tried the lamb barbacoa tacos. They were good - big fan of the homemade tortillas. The tacos definitely had a bit of kick. For the main, we tried the steak (picanha) and the lamb, paired with harissa roasted veg and the mac and cheese. Everything was good! I preferred the lamb to the steak and my husband was the opposite -- so both were top-notch. And I was grateful for some veggies in this meal w the roasted veg! The mac and cheese was good but the reviews on here make it seem potentially life changing, and it was not that for me ;) We didn't have room for dessert but I'll be back to try it on another trip!

Pretty good, nice ambiance and friendly waiters but frankly the food didn't blow me away. I think this place is great for a night out with coworkers but won't blow you away from a culinary the shrimp and grits + jalepeno cornbread was the star of the show. The proteins were nice too, with the lamb being our favorite. The trout was hard to debone and clean and the steak was decent but at around $60 per pound the value ratio felt off for me. Desserts were ok; nothing memorable in my mind but at the same time none of them were off putting. I expected a little more but wasn't utterly disappointed.

A Front-Row Seat to Culinary Excellence at Work & Class! My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Work & Class this past Saturday, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, you could feel the energy--the place was absolutely hopping, buzzing with the happy chatter of diners, without an empty seat in sight. We were lucky enough to snag two spots right at the chef's table overlooking the kitchen, which turned our fantastic dinner into an unforgettable event. Watching Chef Antonio and his team was like watching a perfectly choreographed performance. They moved with incredible skill and precision, crafting one beautiful meal after another. Chef Antonio himself was working a million miles a minute, yet he was still incredibly personable, taking the time to share stories with us and even passing along bites of other amazing dishes he was preparing. He told us how everything is prepared from scratch starting at 6 am every morning, and that his own mother comes in to make the tortillas fresh daily! It was truly dinner and a show! Now, for the incredible food and drinks. We kicked things off with some fantastic cocktails, the standout being the Pomegranate Ginger Thyme with gin--a perfect start to the meal. Everything we ordered to eat was a home run. The Achiote Citrus Fried Trout was a standout--so fresh, perfectly fried, and absolutely delicious with its accompanying house-made tortillas, lime-oil slaw, and jalapeño aioli. We also savored the Hickory Smoked Picanha, a simple yet perfectly executed salt-and-pepper fat cap sirloin. The Plantain Empanadas were another highlight, and for sides, the Harissa Roasted Veggies and Caprese Potato Gnocchi were fantastic. To top it all off, the Chocolate Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream was the perfect rich and decadent finish. As if that wasn't enough, we also got to taste the incredible coriander-roasted Colorado Lamb and a heavenly Butterscotch Pudding. Every single bite was a delight. The fantastic service wasn't limited to the chef's counter. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and efficient. The manager, Johnny, also stopped by and chatted for a while, really making us feel at home there. It was clear we were watching a well-oiled machine where everyone played their part to perfection. The restaurant's setting is just as unique as the experience. Housed in a building constructed from shipping containers, the decor has a cool, modern-industrial aesthetic that pays a fitting homage to the "working man" as its name suggests. Work & Class isn't just a restaurant; it's a complete dining experience. The combination of incredible food, a vibrant atmosphere, and a truly passionate and engaging team makes this a must-visit spot in Denver. We will absolutely be back. If you get the chance, I highly recommend grabbing a seat at the chef's counter--you won't regret it!

Work & Class was a cool and casual spot to hang out with friends. The service was amazing and the tapas were absolutely delicious. Among some of the many tapas we shared were the massive attack salad (amazing), empanadas, whole trout (which was deboned tableside), brandy mushroom brisket, and chickpea croquettes. I'll definitely be back to try the tapas I missed.

Elote hash, plantains, trout, cochinita pibil, and lamb. All delicious!

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. We originally sat at a lower table with a large couch and two side chairs. We had a group of six and we fit pretty comfortably. The only error we had was when the waitress was bending down to give us our first round, someone from the table behind bumped her and the tray of drinks went over. Honestly not really her fault and she was very apologetic.
