Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

It did splash one of my party members, which is why they offered to comp us the drinks and we had to unfortunately move the table because of broken glass. The pastor was well seasoned and tender. The campechano was a first for me, and I am glad I tried it. Campechano is a mix, as the word describes, of beef and chorizo. The tacos are all made by the taco truck set up outside of Malinche. You can actually get tacos from the truck without going into Malinche if you so desire or if there is no seating. (Speaking of, make reservations! Malinche has limited space/seating). The decor is very unique and is really pretty to look at. The audiobar portion of the bar's name is fun as well.
