This is a really cool and quirky bar. Parking may be a little tough but the area is nice and walkable. Drinks were great and the outdoor patio is perfect when the weather is nice!

Inside = funky dive bar; outside = unique forest experience. If you sit inside at night, don't expect a great experience. If you sit outside, you're in for a treat! Fire pits, trees, plants, and a small creek adorn the space with wood and metal seating/tables spread throughout. If you sit by the water, which we did, you can even hear the sound of babbling brook! It can be hard to find a table, but once you do, it is so much fun. It feels like you're camping in the middle of Denver! There's even a cute little foot bridge. Friends and I came here for drinks and the s'mores dip. We had so much fun - I love the ambience. The seating is spread out enough that it's not very loud and feels relatively private. The s'mores dip was dlelicious and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come back again!

Great outdoor seating ambiance and good tasting drinks. Came for happy hour and had a great time!

Did not order food but got drinks and absolutely loved it there. The music was on point and the scene was perfectly cursed to feel like you were at a camping spot. An absolute must if you're in the area in my opinion

Looking for an interesting bar with a cabin-like atmosphere and a wide drink menu? Forest Room 5 is the place for you! On a nice night, it is amazing to grab a nice cocktail with your friends and sit outside on one of their tables or in the teepee. The outside seating area does get packed pretty quickly though so if you want a table outside or especially the teepee, get there soon! I will say that the service can be a bit slow and inconsistent (they messed up one of our drinks 3 times last night) but if you are just sipping on your drink and not needing too much service, it should be fine.

I don't get all the hate for this place. It's one of my favorite bars in Denver. It's incredibly eclectic and funky, and really makes you feel as though you're camping in the woods. It's a big space and they have table service (which in my experience has always been pretty quick). Their menu is very robust, and it matches the eccentricity of the space. There's a little something for everyone. I especially love the fireplace (so cozy!), and the smell (it smells like a pine cabin). They play cult classic films on the projector above the bar. Their happy hour is excellent, and price wise they are on the lower end. It can get a little noisy on the weekends, but during the week it's pretty chill. I love bringing people from out of town here because it's very "Denver".

What a vibe! From the outside looking in, forest room 5 looks run down, but that's the charm. There's a little creek that runs through the middle of the outside seating area and it really promotes the idea of you just picnicking in nature. I enjoyed the "Skipping Stone" cocktail but the real appeal is the unique layout and rustic and causal atmosphere.

One of my new favorite bars!! Our server Kat was so sweet and cute and we loved her. We had the smores and espresso martini and everything was so good. Will definitely be back to try more food!!

How have I not been here before? It's such a cool, electic place and the food and drinks were good. At first we went inside to order, but then a server came to our table outside.

Trust the reviews--the ambiance in this place is fantastic, and it's really fun to walk through the space. I mean--what's more Denver than a camping-themed bar? But unless you're set on sticking around, I would recommend grabbing a few waters, walking through, maybe sitting in the outside area for a bit, and heading somewhere else for food and drinks. My friend and I stopped by here for a few drinks and loved the scenery, but the drinks weren't well-balanced (the Mock Mule tasted like sour, watery blueberries and the Watermelon Fizz was a bit better but still bland) and the service quality just wasn't there. As several other reviews have mentioned, we had to chase down the bar staff, who didn't seem very happy to take our orders. Then they overcharged me and spent a long time looking at the drink and the receipt even though I literally had my drink in one hand and a picture of the menu with the prices in the other. Bit of a damper on the experience. Still enjoyed the time, but I'd do things differently next time.

    Chilling with friends!

It's been a minute since this place was the hot spot to be, but I do love a good themed space. I also really appreciated the whole menu. Mocktails and food are all available. Plus, being able to bring the dog along? Just all sorts of excellent.

Cute and unique bar, especially if you're willing to sit outside and roast s'mores by a campfire! Good veggie burgers.

I ordered the huckleberry Lynx, which is probably one of the best cocktails I've had here.

The vibe is lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation. There is plenty of seating but it was crowded when we arrived but we were able to find some seats close to a fire pit to stay warm. They offer a menu of shareable bites with a global spin. We ordered the chips and guacamole made with avocado and fresh made tortilla chips. We split the braised short rib tacos with avocado, cojita and radish that came with three tacos per order. The steak tacos were very tender and plentiful with toppings. We also tried a variety of cocktails from their bar. Their winter drink menu that highlights warm and spiced cocktails, a curated wine bottle list, and a spectrum of Denver's favorite craft beers. I tried the mezcal hot chocolate that was served with toasted marshmallows on top. Also tried a peach mocktail and asked them to add mezcal. Both cocktails were elevated and hand crafted. Other people in my party tried the Elevated Old Fashioned with Brush creek strait bourbon, angostura amaro, dry curacao, honey. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. It's a great spot for drinks with a view, light bites, or for a fun night on the town.
