Stayed at Le Méridien hotel and took advantage of their tallest rooftop bar in Denver. The drinks were good, the views were even better. The servers took a while to get to you at times, but if you walked up to the bar they're pretty quick. read more

54thirty Rooftop - Elevated Old Fashioned - Lounges Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Located on top of Le Méridien Denver Downtown hotel, 54thirty is a fun location with pretty great views of Denver. We went during the day in August, and it was hot, no joke. All the seats in the shade were taken, so we set up shop in the sun. They do have very comfortable seating options regardless of where you sit, some just have shade. Our waitress was very nice and kept an eye on us as we melted. They are known for the speciality cocktails, but those also come with specialty prices. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink that was good but became warm almost instantly and was nearly $17. The hotel was hosting a dog adoption event that Tito's Vodka was also partnering with in 54thirty. It was nice to be able to duck into the corridor to see what the adoption event was all about and also get some cooler air. You do get a good view of the city and of the convention center so that is what you're paying for. read more

If you're lucky and get a table, this is a pretty cool place with cool views. However, they let a lot of people up and you have to fight for a spot at which to sit and enjoy your drinks and food. The drinks were good, but nothing spectacular. Same with the food, it was a bit elevated but also rushed. Service was atrocious with tiny table stacked with dirty plates and glassware. And servers barely stopped by so if someone new appeared and wanted a drink or some food, it was a long wait. read more

54thirty Rooftop - Cocktail on the roof was good - Lounges Near Me - Denver, Colorado

On the rooftop of Le Méridien hotel, 54thirty sits at 5,430 feet in downtown Denver. With excellent views of the city and the Rocky Mountains, it is a great place to grab a cocktail. Seating is first-come, first-served and is usually very busy. We were lucky to grab a small table on a lovely, sunny afternoon. 54thirty offers seasonal cocktails, but I was craving a slightly dirty vodka martini, so that was my drink of choice. Our server was friendly and kept checking in. On this day, they had brand ambassadors for Tito's Vodka/Vodka for Dog People. They were handing out merch for pets and making customized pet tags. We even got to pet some dogs in the hotel lobby that were up for adoption. Sadly, my pup is a one-person, one-dog kinda gal, but she did score some swag. Love that 54thirty provided such a fun opportunity, an amazing view, and a refreshing martini! read more

Excellent views of the mountains from this location. The nachos were good and our server was kind. We loved being on rooftop in the beautiful fall weather. The food was average, chicken satay wasn't memorable. read more

54thirty is definitely a spot you go for the experience and views. The drinks are well made, but they are definitely on the expensive side. You're paying a little more for the rooftop atmosphere and the views of Denver. That being said, it's a fun place to bring people who are visiting or for a special occasion. The views are hard to beat, and it's a great spot to enjoy a drink while taking in the city. I wouldn't say it's an everyday bar for me because of the prices, but it's worth checking out for the rooftop experience. read more

Extremely busy. Don't plan on coming here after a concert at the Ball Arena (without a reservation) if you want a place to sit. However, the atmosphere is spectacular. Wonderful breeze on the rooftop and a good selection of wines + full bar. Casual, but nice attire. Note: their kitchen closes around 11pm on Saturdays. Great vibe but have a "plan B"/ backup bar picked out in advance. read more

54thirty Rooftop - A Sexy drink. - Lounges Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Located on the rooftop of Le Meridien in downtown Denver. They have their own desk in the lobby where you can check in show your ID and then get sent up the elevator to the 20th floor. Great views of the mountains and Denver here. They had lots of blankets and heaters to make sure that everyone could stay warm even in the winter time. It took a while for someone to come to where we were sitting. We were about to go up to the bar and order when our server finally showed up. None of the drinks on their menu were speaking to me so I just got a classic cosmopolitan. Our server messed up my husband's order. He asked for a Manhattan and she brought back a rye whiskey on the rocks. I'd try out another rooftop bar before heading back here, but if someone has not been before I'd still tell them it's worth checking out. read more

54thirty Rooftop in downtown Denver delivers on both atmosphere and food. A refined perch atop Le Méridien Denver Downtown, 54thirty is Denver's highest open-air rooftop bar. Their focus is on unique, hand-crafted cocktails and globally inspired bites. Named for its elevation of 5,430 feet, 54thirty Rooftop Bar in Denver is at a whole new level. After 6pm, entry is restricted to guests 21 and over. The rooftop views are amazing, it is a great spot to relax, especially around sunset. The vibe is lively but still comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation. There is plenty of seating but it was crowded when we arrived but we were able to find some seats close to a fire pit to stay warm. They offer a menu of shareable bites with a global spin. We ordered the chips and guacamole made with avocado and fresh made tortilla chips. We split the braised short rib tacos with avocado, cojita and radish that came with three tacos per order. The steak tacos were very tender and plentiful with toppings. We also tried a variety of cocktails from their bar. Their winter drink menu that highlights warm and spiced cocktails, a curated wine bottle list, and a spectrum of Denver's favorite craft beers. I tried the mezcal hot chocolate that was served with toasted marshmallows on top. Also tried a peach mocktail and asked them to add mezcal. Both cocktails were elevated and hand crafted. Other people in my party tried the Elevated Old Fashioned with Brush creek strait bourbon, angostura amaro, dry curacao, honey. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. It's a great spot for drinks with a view, light bites, or for a fun night on the town. read more

Fun, lively rooftop with an awesome view of the mountains. I had one of their craft cocktails and it was solid, and the service was quick even though it was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday afternoon. The space is pretty large with plenty of seating, so it never felt too cramped. Great atmosphere and definitely worth stopping by for a drink and the view. read more

This rooftop bar is a great place to grab a drink with a view. There is cozy seating with fire pits. I went in January so it was chilly but they provided blankets. I got a hot drink which was a little on the sweet side for me but still enjoyable. I also got a small bite of grilled cheese a side soup which was enjoyable. The service was prompt and friendly. The view is the star for sure though. read more

Views are decent. I'm gonna keep it honest though, you cannot fully watch the sunset here. There's a biulding thats blocking the view. It is still nice, but I'm sure there's another spot that'll give you the FULL effect of a sunset. There are a decent amount of seats, but once it gets crowded, expect to stand around. People stay here for hours and the seats dont really open up. Beatiful set up though. Nice to try out. read more

Such a nice atmosphere and vibe. Chloe is the best! Great service and recommendations! She was also so attentive and never made us feel rushed! First time and can't wait to come back! I saw other reviews on Yelp showing how nice this place looked, and that really drew me here! It is located on the rooftop of the Meridian hotel. It was difficult to get up there since we weren't staying there and needed a room key to have the elevator move. Maybe there was a different way up and it was our error, but we had to stop at the 17th floor and walk the rest of the way up. We went at sunset, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I got tons of great pictures and had a great drink as well. I got the guava daiquiri, which was delicious, but expensive at $16, although that is what you can expect for such a nice place. My boyfriend had the elevated old fashioned, which he enjoyed. I noticed people with charcuterie boards as well, but we did not eat anything. Nice place for relaxing and socializing. read more

The views are lovely. That's all. I ordered a $26 glass of red wine, a blend. Before ordering, I asked my server to tell me a little about the profile of the wine. She said "I'm not sure. I don't really drink wine." Ok? Can you tell me about it though? No? Then why is it on your menu? If you can't tell patrons about what you're serving then, you should probably stick to offering one option, call it a house red, and quit while you're ahead, like a dive bar does. Come for the view and leave immediately afterward. This is just a sports bar with nicer fixtures. Nothing more. Don't get your hopes up. read more

The 20th floor rooftop bar is a fun experience but following the tips below will make it better. Happy Hour / Sunset / After hours Get there early and get whatever open seat exists If you leave your seat / table unattended to go to the bathroom, don't expect it to be waiting for you. There are a lot of vultures Drinks and pricing is reasonable. After hours - music can get loud and trying to carry a conversation can be challenging. The staff are really pretty good. We did not partake in any apps or foods when we were there. I was not fan of Odell Mountain Standard IPA but I did like the Denver Beer Co. Golden Amber more. There are a lot of canned beers offered but I am not fan of canned beers. Views are outstanding once the IG crowd moves out of the way. read more

Arguably the BEST rooftop bar in Denver. Came here on a Saturday evening after wandering around downtown all day. tldr; awesome views, great drinks, dope vibe, potentially LONG wait to get it. This awesome rooftop bar is at the top of the hotel Le Meridien. When you get into the lobby, there will be a host who will check you in, asking for your phone number and to do initial ID checks. I got there around 7pm (RIGHT BEFORE THE CROWD) and my wait time was approximately 15min after registering with the hostess. While you wait, there's the hotel's downstairs bar where you can lounge around. The views here are INCREDIBLE! I'm such a sucker for views and hanging lights so this vibe is my kryptonite. They also have a great menu of cocktails to choose from and a DJ to up the hype. This is on my list of places that I'm gonna bring all of my out-of-town guests and for great reason! Would highly recommend read more

Really beautiful rooftop. The multiple fire pit areas were actually very warm and nice. The mulled wine was excellent and definitely worth going for that. The French 54 was too acidic for my taste. The ambiance is unbeatable! One of my favorite spots for day drinks and bringing out of town visitors. The view of the mountains and city is stunning plus they have comfortable couches and fire pits. The drinks are a little spendy and nothing amazing. However, I was impressed with the well drink pricing, my tequila soda was $8. Disappointed in the quality of the drinks. $20 Old Fashioned was bad not worth $5. I make a better Old Fashioned with cheaper bourbon at home. We ordered 2 other drinks that were from a fountain. Great Rooftop Lounge for Date Night and Socializing I visited 54thirty Rooftop Lounge for a date night and had a great experience. When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline. read more

Staying just a block away and the fact weather is so much nicer than back home we needed to come here. The views especially watching the sunset was 100% worth it! It was surprisingly busy for a Monday but makes sense being part of a hotel and everyone wanting to enjoy the weather. Thankfully shortly after we arrived some perfect couch spots opened up! The bartenders and servers working were all friendly and came around enough to make sure everyone is all set. Drinks were well made and I thought worth the price. Also surprisingly the chips and guac were phenomenal! Chips were salted perfectly and guac was right in every way! Due to the beautiful views I have to give 5 stars, especially since we did not encounter one thing negative. I imagine it's a madhouse during summer but thankfully it was just the right amount of busy our day of visiting! Definitely more of a touristy spot but worth checking out if staying nearby. We were only about a block away. read more

Ended my evening in this rooftop on a Saturday night. It is clearly popular, as there was a 30is minute wait to be let up. The view is incredible. I ordered a blackberry mint margarita, which was delicious! My only "complaint" was the music was not great. The DJ did not play a variety of music, so I did not hear a song I liked the entire time I was there.
