When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. Located on the rooftop of Le Meridien in downtown Denver. They have their own desk in the lobby where you can check in show your ID and then get sent up the elevator to the 20th floor. Great views of the mountains and Denver here. They had lots of blankets and heaters to make sure that everyone could stay warm even in the winter time. It took a while for someone to come to where we were sitting. We were about to go up to the bar and order when our server finally showed up. None of the drinks on their menu were speaking to me so I just got a classic cosmopolitan. Our server messed up my husband's order. He asked for a Manhattan and she brought back a rye whiskey on the rocks. I'd try out another rooftop bar before heading back here, but if someone has not been before I'd still tell them it's worth checking out. read more

After 6pm, entry is restricted to guests 21 and over. The rooftop views are amazing, it is a great spot to relax, especially around sunset. There is plenty of seating but it was crowded when we arrived but we were able to find some seats close to a fire pit to stay warm. They offer a menu of shareable bites with a global spin. We ordered the chips and guacamole made with avocado and fresh made tortilla chips. We split the braised short rib tacos with avocado, cojita and radish that came with three tacos per order. The steak tacos were very tender and plentiful with toppings. We also tried a variety of cocktails from their bar. Their winter drink menu that highlights warm and spiced cocktails, a curated wine bottle list, and a spectrum of Denver's favorite craft beers. I tried the mezcal hot chocolate that was served with toasted marshmallows on top. Also tried a peach mocktail and asked them to add mezcal. Both cocktails were elevated and hand crafted. Other people in my party tried the Elevated Old Fashioned with Brush creek strait bourbon, angostura amaro, dry curacao, honey. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out quickly. The views are lovely. That's all. I ordered a $26 glass of red wine, a blend. Before ordering, I asked my server to tell me a little about the profile of the wine. She said "I'm not sure. I don't really drink wine." Ok? Can you tell me about it though? No? Then why is it on your menu? If you can't tell patrons about what you're serving then, you should probably stick to offering one option, call it a house red, and quit while you're ahead, like a dive bar does. Come for the view and leave immediately afterward. This is just a sports bar with nicer fixtures. Nothing more. Don't get your hopes up. read more

I saw other reviews on Yelp showing how nice this place looked, and that really drew me here! It is located on the rooftop of the Meridian hotel. It was difficult to get up there since we weren't staying there and needed a room key to have the elevator move. Maybe there was a different way up and it was our error, but we had to stop at the 17th floor and walk the rest of the way up. We went at sunset, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I got tons of great pictures and had a great drink as well. I got the guava daiquiri, which was delicious, but expensive at $16, although that is what you can expect for such a nice place. My boyfriend had the elevated old fashioned, which he enjoyed. I noticed people with charcuterie boards as well, but we did not eat anything. Nice place for relaxing and socializing. read more

Happy Hour / Sunset / After hours Get there early and get whatever open seat exists If you leave your seat / table unattended to go to the bathroom, don't expect it to be waiting for you. There are a lot of vultures Drinks and pricing is reasonable. After hours - music can get loud and trying to carry a conversation can be challenging. The staff are really pretty good. We did not partake in any apps or foods when we were there. I was not fan of Odell Mountain Standard IPA but I did like the Denver Beer Co. Golden Amber more. There are a lot of canned beers offered but I am not fan of canned beers. Views are outstanding once the IG crowd moves out of the way. read more

Arguably the BEST rooftop bar in Denver. Came here on a Saturday evening after wandering around downtown all day. tldr; awesome views, great drinks, dope vibe, potentially LONG wait to get it. This awesome rooftop bar is at the top of the hotel Le Meridien. When you get into the lobby, there will be a host who will check you in, asking for your phone number and to do initial ID checks. I got there around 7pm (RIGHT BEFORE THE CROWD) and my wait time was approximately 15min after registering with the hostess. While you wait, there's the hotel's downstairs bar where you can lounge around. The views here are INCREDIBLE! I'm such a sucker for views and hanging lights so this vibe is my kryptonite. They also have a great menu of cocktails to choose from and a DJ to up the hype. This is on my list of places that I'm gonna bring all of my out-of-town guests and for great reason! Staying just a block away and the fact weather is so much nicer than back home we needed to come here. The views especially watching the sunset was 100% worth it! It was surprisingly busy for a Monday but makes sense being part of a hotel and everyone wanting to enjoy the weather. Thankfully shortly after we arrived some perfect couch spots opened up! The bartenders and servers working were all friendly and came around enough to make sure everyone is all set. Drinks were well made and I thought worth the price. Also surprisingly the chips and guac were phenomenal! Chips were salted perfectly and guac was right in every way! Due to the beautiful views I have to give 5 stars, especially since we did not encounter one thing negative. I imagine it's a madhouse during summer but thankfully it was just the right amount of busy our day of visiting! Definitely more of a touristy spot but worth checking out if staying nearby. Ended my evening in this rooftop on a Saturday night. It is clearly popular, as there was a 30is minute wait to be let up. The view is incredible. I ordered a blackberry mint margarita, which was delicious! My only "complaint" was the music was not great. The DJ did not play a variety of music, so I did not hear a song I liked the entire time I was there. The hotel is always fancy and classy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a place for girls night out or even a romantic spot with your man. I really enjoyed myself when I went and I highly recommend it to all of the downtown Denver locals. The drinks were good and there was a nice selection to choose from which I very much enjoyed. Way too crowded! There was a waiting list for us to go up to the roof. We waited about forty minutes and when we inquired, we were told that they had called our name. But there were three of us in that party, and none of us heard our name, even though we were listening intently as we were pretty hungry and ready to go up at any moment, and we never left the downstairs bar area. They told us we had to wait again, this time only about 10 more minutes past and we were able to go up. Upon getting to the roof, there was not only no seating but a ridiculous amount of people looking for seating and hovering over any table that might look like they were ready to leave. Parking is a bit inconvenient with paid street parking and public underground parking next street. One word: VIBES. Be mindful of weather tho - this rooftop bar which is at the top of the meridian hotel is open to the air. One night I tried to come it was SUPER windy and kinda rainy. I was nearby and came to ask the hostess how it was and she said everyone was huddled around the bar since it's the only covered area. I decided to come the next day which was much nicer - and the view of the mountains to the west is just lovely. They have lots of tables, but it WAS quite crowded. When I came, I got a spot on a couch corner where I had my cocktail (a variation on the lavender sky with added elderflower flavor - I told the bartender I liked floral drinks and he made it for me that way, 10/10 service!). It was a lovely hour sipping my drink and reading a book on that couch corner while enjoying the mountains and the open air! I would absolutely come back another evening for a drink and to hopefully see the sunset on a clear evening! read more
