Old Fashioned & Custom Drink from our bartender
    Dennis X.

I came here with cousin after Summer Dog Days and really enjoyed it! You have to go down the stairs to get to the bar and it's super dark inside (very speakeasy-vibes). The interior decor is awesome though, lots of tall and cool-looking exotic plants. And the bathroom (very clean btw) is easy to miss but keep an eye on the red carpet and it'll take you there. When we got to the bartender, she let us know that the rotating menu was just about to get swapped out. My cousin ordered one, and then I told her to surprise me. I wanted something with absinthe. Our drinks were absolutely delicious, and although we came during the afternoon, I can totally see it being a popping vibe in the evening.

This bar has caught my eye many times as I walked around Laver Street, there's always music bumping, and you can see the neon life leading you downstairs, underground, enticing. I grabbed some dinner next-door and decided to pop in and see what it looks like. The vibe was great, several rooms with the swampy decor and atmosphere, the menu is seasonal, and the cocktails are constantly changing, I can't remember which one I tried, but it was good, I recall it not being exactly what I expected but good. It was a Friday night around eight and was starting to get busy, when I turned around there was 10 people in line at the bar. Seating is plenty full, but since the bar was packed, it was limited, but we were able to rearrange some chairs and make a little space for ourselves. Definitely a good place to stop with friends on the way to something else, maybe not somewhere I'd spend the whole night as the cocktails are a little pricey for that and it starts and noisy, but definitely a smooth vibe

Emerald Eye is a cute cocktail bar located in Larimer Square. You take a staircase down to this cool and sleek spot. Its motif is an eye and can be found all over. I ordered a Mangonada and it was delicious. The bartender was nice and vibe was great. Loved the quick drink here for their happy hour.

We came in between Christmas and New Year's on a Friday night. So the crowd was thin. They had one of the rooms shut off. So it was a small venue on this night. We ended up paying for the little booth photos twice and we didn't fully fit in the frame of the photos so they were probably the worst photos we've taken in a booth, our entire relationship, but funny nonetheless. One of the bartenders was pretty legalistic and wanted to be a little snarky about ordering at the bar where to sit what we could and could not do. Another bartender actually took our order and opened our tab. We sat down and checked out the crowd. The music was great. We enjoyed the vibe. The cocktails were delicious. No complaints There. The door guy was very hospitable. I would go back. I'll probably try it after the holidays.

Our server was very fun, he did some flipping of bottles and talked about the methods behind the art, and was very steadfast about the issues that he had. I loved the interior, with its jungle feel. My favorite drink was the clarified punch, which our bar tender nicely explained the background of, and the flavor was great. Highly recommend.

Cute cocktail bar! Came here after dinner on a girls night and it was so cozy and vibey. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. If you like an espresso martini or a cold brew and want a drink with a similar taste but with a little twist to it, I would definitely recommend the Carajillo. It is very good and will hit all of the tastebuds.

We were wandering down Larimer street and we were planning to grab a Lyft at the end of the road. Before we ordered it, we saw a red neon sign that read "cocktail lounge". We headed towards it and decided to walk down the stairway with the mint green painted walls. I'm so glad we did. I had the clarified punch and it was one of the best cocktails I've had recently. So delicious. The other cocktail we tried was also good even thought I don't like mescal as much as other spirits, it was still well balanced. My partner said he enjoyed it. Service was attentive and swift. This place had a really chill, tropical vibe with beautiful mood lighting. I very much enjoyed relaxing over a delicious drink in the Emerald Eye lounge and will definitely go back to try other cocktails next time we are in Denver.

This place was very dark, I could barely find my ID to show the bouncer. The staff seemed nice and helpful when we were looking for a place to sit. For the first round we did a Prosecco and an old fashioned. Prices were on the cheaper side for a cocktail bar ($25 total) and I would say the quality matched. The second round I switched from Prosecco to a mocktail. I appreciated the options they had for that as some places don't have any on the menu. We might go back. I like the location and its proximity to sports venues / restaurants

A new (to me) fav cocktail bar! Underground and located inside a former prohibition bar, this place is such a good spot for a date or girls night. Great music and drinks. Bartenders were amazing too! I will definitely be back

Hidden gem! This place is so cool - their drinks are top notch, such a great variety of cocktails. We loved our drinks, so good. Our friends joined us later and they got the mangonadas and that was so good too. Service was great! Ambiance is lovely and I highly recommend.

We found this place while waiting to eat next door, it is a cute little speakeasy vibe. We were greeted immediately when we walked in with a friendly bartender. The vibe in the bar is really cute and welcoming. Reminds me of a jungle room. We were lucky enough to be here for happy hour. Their drinks were fast and delicious. If you are looking for something chill with a fun cozy vibe and good drinks then this is your place. We will be back.

Fun, cozy, intimate place to have a cocktail. Friendly bartender/mixologist. Fabulous cocktails... happened upon it while waiting for a table at the brewhouse next store!

Love their cocktails! They are always crafted to perfection by their expert bartenders. My partner and I had fun tiki drinks. Feels like you are in tropical destination with the greenery and chill music.

Amazing old fashioned! The ambiance is even better. If you go on a Thursday there is live Jazz music.

Why did I pay $16 for a gin and tonic when the tonic came from a soda gun?? You pay for the decor and the location I guess.

When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here.
