Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up. The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Ok, First, I found this place hard to find. The front entrance was closed and had no sign or anything. It was by pure luck that I found the entrance off of a back alley. It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here. read more

Went to Milk on a Halloween weekend and had a lot of fun. The cover was $35 which is kind of a lot but it is what it is. I really enjoyed how spacious it was and they had multiple rooms with different types of music so if you wanted to go to another room and enjoy a different type of music , you have options. It's a very fun vibe and everyone there was having a good time. They had an out door area also that was a nice respite to get out of the crowd. The staff were also friendly so that helped a lot! Lots of bathrooms so I didn't have to wait in some long ass line. read more

I was really excited to go out with my girls on Saturday night. We went to the Milk bar as a friend of my husband's recommended, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The tall male bartender working that night was very rude and never got our drinks, after we ordered and seems more interested in "clients" On the positive side, the young lady working there recognized and was amazing. Everyone in the club was partying non-stop. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and enjoyable. Staff provided top notch and personal service with amazing and consistent interaction with VIP and their guests. Food trucks outside the clubs are amazing and reasonably priced. The most amazing experience is there is a niche for everyone via the numerous clubs under one establishment with individual atmosphere, dj's, and ambiance, such as EDM, Hip Hop, R and B, Latina, Techno, and etcetera. read more

Coming to milk bar on a Saturday night was the most fun I've had in awhile! I absolutely loved the different genre rooms. The overall vibe was great too, everyone was just having fun and it wasn't an intimidating space to dance in at all. I'd recommend arriving before 10 because the cover fee is $5 instead of $10, it's less crowded to start, and there was no line to get in! read more

Many different rooms to explore and the themes are always great. Goth night, 80s night, and a few others. The service here is great too. Bartenders are always nice and friendly. There's no food but there is a food truck outside sometimes. It serves some good hotdogs and Frito Pie, which is a must when you come out of the club. read more

I liked this night club because of the fact that it had multiple rooms with many different DJs. Drinks were very expensive as expected but they made up for it with the arcade which I loved the most. One of the best bars in the city! The craft cocktails are unique, and the staff knows their stuff. Highly recommend the espresso martini.

When friends ask if I want to go out, what they really mean is, "Let's go to Milk!" I feel like this is one of the top go-to places in Denver (next to Tracks) for a variety of dance music and aesthetic themes. I didn't know what to expect when coming here, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to get lost and separated from friends across the different dance rooms. Aside from drunk people getting sloppy and spilling drinks on others, I had a great time exploring the art for sale downstairs and enjoying quick drinks at the many bars. They're very well-organized here, clearly equipped to handle giant crowds every night they're open. Milk bar was a great vibe, don't get me wrong. I am a bartender myself and I will always tip 20% unless someone is blatantly rude, but even just standard I will always add gratuity. It really rubs me wrong when a bartender tips themselves without letting people know, especially in a high energy bar where people are usually drunk and unaware. I got the receipt to see Kat tipped herself at 22% without us signing on it. Super lame, 3 out of the 4 of us there last night are bartenders and we would have tipped her, she was nice and we chatted for a second since it was slow, but I find this so unprofessional. I would never do this, I would have easily tipped her 20%. I get the struggle but this is lame.. read more

I'm a big fan of 5 stars when they deserve it and in this case Milk Bar is well deserving of 5 stars. It's just my type of scene. They have something for everyone with endless rooms with different music, DJ's and setups in each one. You can get lost in there, seriously, and I love it. A Music Maze from my dreams. I don't drink so it's hard to say if the liquor prices were agreeable so my starts are based off atmosphere and vibe. You'll have to pay a cover... drag :( but as is the case with most Denver bars if the place is anything worthwhile. I highly recommend checking it out! I never had a bad time there. read more

Super upset with our experience here. We had a great time dancing and hanging out, but before we went in a security guard said no carts/weed pens allowed inside. No worries, we said we would just run it back to the car. The guard then pulled out a locker and promised the cart would stay safe and not be touched. After some convincing, we agreed it was easier than going back to the car. As we were leaving we asked the guard for the cart back and the guard claimed his manager came by and took all of the carts that were in the locker. He had guaranteed nothing would happen to it, and I also do not believe his manager came by and collected them all, it even if that's the case I feel it is illegal to guarantee our things would stay safe and then take it without our permission. He stole our stuff and refused to give it back. Very upset and will never return here. read more

Milk is home of the umbrella for underground music!! It's where we emerge in the wake of Punk Rock, Techno/Tech-House and Alternative/Retro/Synthwave. Entrance located in the alleyway behind!! There are paid parking lots available. The rooms, one might describe "Clockwork Orange"-inspired Milk Bar & the retro Jazz Room. Calling all misfits, outcasts, goths and anyone who's anyone. For those who describe themselves as dancing with "two left feet," or the introverted! This isn't your typical dance floor. Goth night Wednesdays has a no cover charge, which is where it's at! Milk Bar has a levels of floors, but some of them are blocked off, due to Covid-19, however they have a accessible smoking outside patio area. You can meet lots of people outside there. The Green Room has "POP-Sycle" with 80's Pop/Fun/Dance. Their Dark Room plays Throwback with 90's Hip Hop LGBTQ night with their DJ Mear. My favorite is the official MILK ROOM!! They play spinning Indie/Dance/Alternatives with really cool Dj's. The crowd is a much more mature audience with people ranging from late 20's and up. The arcade room has a photobooth and plenty of 90's games such as Pacman and Mario. Each room has a unique bar with friendly bartenders!! My friends and I enjoy the crowd and also the movement of everyone. One of my favorite girl's night spot. read more

Usually, I don't feel that I need to explain that I'm a gay man in a review. I have visited this establishment since I first moved to Denver in 2018. It used to be an escape for me on the weekend. I adored this place. Tonight, however, I met some lovely new female friends from Australia who were visiting the club for the first time. I am absolutely gutted by my experience tonight. One of my new friends was on the verge of being too intoxicated to be out for the evening. I was trying to help her find her friends. When we were near the front of the club, I told her I was going to get her an Uber to get home, I WAS KICKED OUT OF THE CLUB. Literally, a member of security escorted me out. And when I attempted to find her from another entrance (because friends take good care of each other), they told me that management wouldn't allow me to enter. She was obviously, visibly, too drunk to be in the club. I'm still worried about her safety. If you don't care about your own physical and personal safety, come to this club. Milk bar is the coolest bar in Denver.... Bar none. Amazing music and DJs on multiple floors. It's a something you can really only experience in person. Milk has the most amazing kind and personable staff. Most night clubs have rude stiff obnoxious bartenders and bouncers. Milk is the opposite. Cat, Ashley, Sharnice, Isaiah, Devin and the entire milk bar team run an amazing operation. read more

NOT QUEER-FREINDLY. Recently a friend of mine who is a trans woman was kicked out of the women's bathroom by the Milk Bar staff. They were incredibly rude and not understanding the situation. I've thought of this place as a queer-friendly establishment, and this has really tainted that for me and my friend group. Milk needs to have gender neutral bathrooms if it wants to attempt to be an inclusive establishment. VERY disappointed. Train your staff better and change your bathroom situation. read more

Anti LGBTQ bar. I've known not one, but two different queer people being escorted out of this bar due to bathroom issues, whether there wasn't a sign showing male/female (my first friend) or the bouncer did not listen to the gender identity of the second one. It's sad and super shocking to see such a small thing being taken so extreme. The bouncers should be looking for the dangerous people, the creeps, the ones who are out to pry on others, not queer people who just needed to pee. Since I'm convinced there's more instances than just the two I know of, Milk Bar, fix it. You don't like queer people in the bathrooms, give them one they can use. You require people to pay entry again if you leave so what, you expect these people to just hold their bladder until they are ready to leave? It's a poor system, awful business model, and terrible customer service. read more

Awesome club. Multiple rooms plus an arcade. Great atmosphere -- really inclusive. Saw all sorts, all ages -- everyone having fun and dancing. The rooms are pretty spacious. I've been to their Wednesday Goth night twice now... once on Halloween. The latter was pretty packed in the bar and bathroom areas but there were still empty couches and ample space to hang out. Love that there's no cover on Wednesdays. Not sure about other nights. Great drink specials too! read more
