Honestly I love this place, you pay for what you get and I think that's why it gets bad reviews. The drinks are what you would expect from a place like this but the bottle girls are legit, Karl is a great bartender and it's a place you go to party. I love the new layout and feel at Riothouse. Cassandra was our server and she did such a great job at taking care of our table and our group. We will definitely be coming back and our friends even mentioned that they want to have their birthday parties there. Also, the EDM DJ Saturday was amazing! We had such a good time. This was my first experience at the Riot house, and I have to say, my goddess they delivered. The staff was incredible and it was so much fun to see them dancing and enjoying themselves when they had the opportunity. I have to give BIG ups to Sol Ryū, he is such a wonderful person I'm sure that he will continue to interpret the energy needed to have an amazing time. A few months ago my friends and I went here for my birthday. There were probably 15 of us, we got a table and did bottle service. After spending more than $1000, i politely asked our server to stop pouring us shots as we wanted to just make drinks and enjoy our time well after that I got kicked out for supposedly "throwing up" on the table. Which I clearly didn't and everyone in the group was just as confused because no throw up was to be seen nor did I throw up!!!!! The bouncers and our server were so rude and couldn't even provide us proof of what just happened. It was not worth the money spent. read more

WORST BAR EVER. after PAYING hundreds for a table, and being there for 10 minutes, sober, they kicked us out for no reason because we were "too drunk" i asked them to give me an ALC test and they said no because "they didn't need to". also there's no people there ever, so no. not shitting you, i've lived in denver my entire life, and this was the most lame bar i've ever been to. not worth paying to get into, not worth paying for their expensive drinks... you'd think being a new bar that they'd learn lessons from all the old ones, but they only got worse. Me and my friends bought vip for the whole night a couple weeks ago and they forcefully kicked us out from our table. Our server was extremely rude I just can't believe they expect us to pay at least $100 as a tip just so they can serve our drinks like I could have done it myself. After they kicked us out I wanted to take my bottle that was $200 but the security guard took my bottle away because I couldn't finish it on time before they kicked us out from the vip. This place is a SCAM because the only way you could have fun at this place is by buying a table since it's so crowded. I probably spent more than $500 in just 2 hours that I was there. This place also stinks like ass and BV. I been to most of the clubs in Denver and this place is hands down the WORST DISGUSTING PLACE EVER!!!!! read more

I went out with my friends on a Thursday night and got kicked out for being "too drunk" when I was not even drunk AT ALL. I was just minding my own business and on the way back from the bathroom a security guard came up to me and told me I had to leave. So all my friends left the bar and our VIP table and we were all so confused. Kicking someone out for literally no reason at all is not the way to run a business. I've seen that this is a common issue based on other reviews. I would NOT recommend this place. My friends and I will not be returning. There are way better bars than this one in Denver. read more

Same layout as whiskey row. I got VIP tickets and VIP service is horrible. You wait in the vip line longer than you would in the regular line. Plus, if you have VIP tickets but don't have a reservation for a table they put you back in the regular line instead of letting you through. I would rather go to whiskey row and not pay for a cover, it looks exactly the same. Also, don't get me started on their unprofessionalism. My friend got kicked out after an altercation with a man who purposely spilled my friend's drink all over us and security kicked us out because the guy was one of their "investors". The service was terrible. They manhandled a women for no reason and kicked out a friend for stepping on his toes. Way too crowded and not handled well by security. Bottle girls were fantastic but did not feel safe. Way too many people and I would not recommend. Ambiance was lacking. Do not waste time or energy here. I had super high expectations for this place and to say it was underwhelming would be an understatement. I worked in the service industry for a few years managing and bartending and the way things are run here is an absolute disgrace. I was just trying to have a fun night out with friends and got a table. I believe my friends had a good time but as there person who was footing the bill the lack of service was pathetic. We had gotten a few bottles to get us started which was great they set off confetti which was a great wow factor but didn't cover the ice bins. I think every one of our drinks the bottle girl made for us had confetti in it. And the whole ice bin was covered. As we got settled we wanted some water. Not everyone I was with was from Colorado and needed to hydrate extra because of the altitude. There were 10 of us she brought over one vase of water which was enough for about half a cup a person. I then tried to track her down for more and she was nowhere to be found. I walked around trying to find someone found a busboy he said he can't do it. First off that's the wrong answer you have a radio ask someone. Then found a manager she then argued with me that the bottle girl was at my table and would take care of it. Again not my problem I'm asking for something and you should provide the solution. The customer is never wrong especially when you are spending 6k for the night but that is besides the point. The bottle girl eventually came over and tried to tell me we need to pay for water now when it was free earlier. I just expect better service the level of service you pay for with a table is expensive and there was zero level of vip service I should not have to get up from the table to track people down and then argue with a manager about it. This review is not here to shit in about getting kicked out like the rest of them above. All of those people were intoxicated and should be removed from the club. Nor am I being payed to rave about this place like the 5 star reviews. There is a lot of work to be done here there is just zero drive to make any improvements. Also for the ladies when you when bottle service and are paying a premium and they need to go to the bathroom. Waiting in like for 20min is ridiculous. There should be a private bathroom for those with bottle service or a way to skip the line. I was honestly embarrassed for riot house and hope they can turn it around I want to see businesses succeed but it's hard to see how they can make a come back with the attitude they have. If a manager is reading I would love to talk further and could help make some recommendations on how to move forward. Wish them the best but until major things change and I hear great reviews I will not be returning. The fact that they have to give out multiple free tables as winnings on social media drawings to fill the place should tell the story. Only half the place is even open the upstairs is closed because it's not busy enough to even open the rest of the building. read more

let me start off saying i flew to colorado to rage for new years. i've been following riot house waiting for them to open so when i come visit i could see what all the hype was about. let me start off all the bartender have this arrogant attitude like they were gods gift to earth. like why did i wait in line to be treated like shit. after waiting a solid 45 minutes just to be seen i got greet with a "you ready"? what do you mean am i ready? i was ready last year. like can you please just give me a damn beer? music was great but the service was absolute trash. i'm so disappointed i traveled 12000 miles just to be treated like shit. will i come back next visit? probably not which sucks because the place could be such a vibe. please get better bartenders, maybe try hiring people that smile at least once a night. read more
