Great sound quality in my opinion! Went here last night for Charli Party and definitely enjoyed myself. The pizza bar is a great addition and although I didn't try it, it smelled delicious. Truly wish this place had a coat check and I'd be more likely to rate 5 stars. Staff was excellent and bartenders were very quick. I'll be back but this time without my jacket :)

No reentry, I step outside for 60 seconds. And there bullshit happens

No stupid system, step outside for one minute and can't come back in ????????. What the he'll is that about. Would love to review food. But currently stuck outside on the curb cause they won't let me back in despite having 2 tickets, a wristband, etc

I have a confession to make...this was my first ever Metal concert experience. It was a good one to tell you the truth, highly entertaining, amazing people watching, mosh pit havoc and tons of energy from the bowels of someplace? The venue was perfect for it. It was an 18 and over show, so I couldn't thrash with my TallBoy, but being slammed against the front stage was good enough. Early Man, Dirtfedd, Arcanium and DevilDriver! Wow, the names of the bands were as bad as the metal heads at this place...sick!!!! Also, after shredding your face off in the pit, they have cheap bar pizza for $3 a slice. So tasty after drinking, probably good sober, but I would not recommend it. I have walked by the Marquis Theater many many times, but this last Saturday, I walked to the front of the crowd and experienced.

Small, quaint venue that provides a more intimate setting. Drinks are priced really nice - gin & tonic or Fireball & gingerale both $4.50/ea. Super excited to see SomeKindaWonderful!

Intimate, gritty, smells like smoke, but the sound is fantastic and the drinks are cheap.

Anybody who's come out of Colorado to become a big name has gone through those doors to play on the little stage. From local to traveling acts, from punk bands and karaoke talent to gritty stand-up and flirty burlesque, this place has it. If you're up for a night that doesn't stink of ordinary, swing through that creaky door and take in a most memorable evening. If there is a cover, it's usually nominal. Drinks are cheap, served by a great crew that's always up for a laugh and cheers. Sometimes hitting the town isn't about getting fancy but just kicking back, and this is a great place to do just that off the mainstream treads.

Great little dive bar on Colfax! Came here for the first time last night to see a DJ (or set of DJs…read moreI guess) that we like. The interior is small but I like how the bar is set up kind of in a rectangle so you're actually facing some other people (maybe awkward, but feels more communal?) They had an inexpensive menu of basic beers. They were out of the drink I wanted so the bartender made me a creation that I guess is something the doorman likes - not bad, and I think it was about $10 which is pretty decent for a mixed drink. I noticed a big red counter/clock on the wall across from us and after a few seconds we deduced it was a decibel meter. I'm curious if they have restrictions here for noise - AOK by me. The volume was generally alright (a little loud but what isn't?) and they actually had a sound guy in the corner making sure the volume and quality sounded good. Overall had a very decent Saturday night here.

It's a good loud, a wall of sound, well-balanced. The space was standing-room-only with bars along the side wall. The stage was large with an immersive lighting display. Overall, it was a great experience. The pricing was what you would expect for a venue this size. I assume ticket prices are a sliding scale depending on the show. The drinks and pricing were what you'd expect for a show. The parking is a little annoying; be sure to bring cash and plan accordingly before you leave the house. Otherwise, it's a good night to be here!

Getting through security was easy. Venue seems new, clean, and spacious. I like that the GA area is bigger than just the floor where you have to stand for hours. The majority of the seating bowl has stadium-style seating. The benches are hard, but seat cushions are available for free. Lighting on stage was rather dark, but I assume that was for the performer, not because of the venue. I'll definitely be back.

A special night out with incredible live jazz…read more I've lived in Colorado for 4 years and can't believe it took me this long to experience Nocturne. I went on a Friday night with my mom I'd just gotten my hair done and wanted to do something fun, a little fancy, and different from the usual dinner spot. It absolutely delivered. First: parking in RiNo is rough. Plan ahead. My reservation was at 8:30 PM and I arrived almost 45 minutes early just looping the area. Eventually found street parking but give yourself time so you're not stressed walking in. The exterior is beautiful mural artwork, elegant entrance, very polished. Once inside, you're greeted, there's coat check and the entire space feels intimate and elevated without being stuffy. It's romantic but not pretentious. I'd go here for a date, a birthday, or just to treat someone special. We did the three-course prix fixe experience (around $150 per person, 25% gratuity included -- that's required for reservations). It felt worth it for the full experience. Food highlights: * I tried the steak tartare for the first time. raw beef and egg, served in a crispy potato nest. Very outside my comfort zone, but beautifully presented and well executed. * My mom had the grilled octopus and loved it. * For entrées, I ordered the Branzino (10/10) and she had the duck she raved about it. * The risotto was slightly underdone but not enough to ruin the dish. * Dessert was a passionfruit tarte. very tart and tangy (true to its name!). * For my birthday, they surprised us with a vanilla dessert that was honestly incredible. Also worth mentioning: their non-alcoholic options are phenomenal. I had the "Kitten Heels" mocktail (10/10), and their non-alcoholic rosé genuinely tasted like the real thing. As someone who appreciates thoughtful zero-proof options, this stood out. The live music was the star of the night. The performers were incredibly talented! the vocals, the breath control, the instrumentation! it felt immersive. The only thing I'll say is the crowd was a little low-energy. My mom and I were the only ones really moving in our seats, tapping along, enjoying it visibly. I wanted more people to feel it! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for live jazz, elevated dining, and a romantic or celebratory night out. If you love cultural, artsy experiences and live music, this is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.
