First experience with the Mission Ballroom with Echo and The Bunneymen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sound was very good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Opening band struggled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Echo was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great acoustics.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Crowd was excited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drinks are pricey so bring ya wallet. Merchandise was available and the line moved quickly. The parking was easy. I enjoyed the experience.

Had a company appreciation party here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great spacious venue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First time here. Now seeing this space, I would like to come here for a concert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of restrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is elsewhere and then have to walk to the venue. Not very far. The food set up was great. They had a hamburger and Mac and cheese bar. They had veggie trays at center of round tables. It was a fun and good evening.

Fun venue! Lots of separated space for merch, small tacos & nacho area, and lots of places to get drinks that it was not over crowded. Good design. Arriving, I went to a window to pick up tickets and passes but all three windows had people proving what they paid, on this app and then another, I just wish there was a line just for guest list~ as that did take some time to finally walk up and get my stuff in less than 30 seconds. Staff was super friendly from front middle and back. A well run venue with happy workers = great experience! And the floor space was roomy to dance although like all show the later it gets the more crowded it get too! Would totally come here again. Side view is a bit awkward with giant speakers blocking visuals but- next time i will aim for center back and up a bit. Everyone seems to know THAT is The Spot!

I was honestly pretty happy with my experience here! I came to see The Band Camino and the stage was big, but not too big. Everyone that worked here was really nice and the drink prices were not bad whatsoever. I cannot tell you the last time I had a decent priced drink at a venue! If I lived closer, I would come all the time because I appreciate the fact they aren't taking advantage of their customers. The place and bathrooms were clean enough, but could've definitely been a bit cleaner. Definitely one of the better venues I've been to in a long time.

Concerts here are so much fun!! Since the venue is still fairly new, the parking there is still under construction (I believe). There is parking offered around the area, but personally parking can be so irrationally expensive. Pro tip: park at the Hub RINO garage for affordable parking and the walk isn't bad at all... unless it's snowing then it might be worth spending $20+

Colorado Ball For All. Apparently people aren't all that excited for the bands.

Really nice, new venue, at least as of 2023 when I visited. I liked that they had plastic cups for water. The cups had to be returned, but it's better than paying $7 for a bottled water. The light up palm trees scattered around the place were a nice touch. There was seating in the back and in the balconies but lots of standing room in the front for GA events. The event I went to they even set up cocktail tables in the back but there was still lots of room. Lots of bars. So many bars in this joint. The drinks were expensive but convenient at least.

Hands down my favorite venue in Denver. Love the option for the bleachers because as a short person I can't see anything on the floor crowd.

Ask the Community - Mission Ballroom

How long before doors open should we get in line to get a select spot with GA?

Can I still use the reusable beer cup I bought there?

Just checked with bartender, shift supervisor, and their manager and they are no longer honoring their reusable cup promotion.

Do they have food? If so, what's good?

Very limited venue style food. Nachos, dogs and regrets

Is there an area that is 21+?

It varies show to show what the permitted ages are, but if it is a all ages show there is no designated 21 and over section.

What is the bag policy? Are small purses allowed?

Yes even large purses are allowed. But are subject to security screening at the door. Coat check is available for a few bucks to watch your bag if you want to dance…

What determines whether or not your GA ticket is standing room up front near stage or in the GA seating area further back?

GA means first come first served. The whole venue is available to anyone with a GA ticket. It's up to you where you choose to be. If you want to be close to the stage or have a particular seat you want just wait in line a little earlier.…

Is there a coat check?

Yes there is a coat check. $5 for first item $2 for every additional. So to check my coat and poster tube was $10 after tip and it is worth it to be unencumbered during the…

The Grizzly Rose takes pride in providing live country music, five nights per week. During my visit on a Saturday night, I enjoyed listening and dancing to the music of Duey & Unbroken. The 40,000 square feet of this country dance hall is impressive. Surprisingly, only 2,500 square feet is allocated to the dance floor. This is too small for the demand placed on it during a Saturday night. The front half of the dance floor is devoted to country swing dancing, while the back half is reserved for line dancing. This leaves no room for progressive partner dancing, i.e., two-step (as is normal across Texas). Country swing could not have been the prevailing form of partner dancing here since the inception of this honky-tonk in 1989. So, what year did it displace two-step? I enjoyed the line dance lesson at 7 p.m., followed by the country swing dance lesson at 8:15 p.m. Strangely, two-step is how the opening pattern taught for country swing, before it abruptly switches to country swing. Yet, they refer to all of this as country swing. This supports my suspicion that country swing hijacked two-step at some point in the history of this honky-tonk. If this is how locals here are brought up on country dancing, they're in for a surprise, if and when they go to honky-tonks across Texas, where two-step prevails. Given how crowded the dance floor gets, they might consider expanding it by another 1,000 feet or more. Then it might be possible to spare enough room on the perimeter to bring back progressive partner dancing (two-step, three-step, partner cowboy cha-cha, etc.). The main seating and walkways are concrete ground, which can wear on your feet. Therefore, I doubt the average person lasts more than a few hours of dancing before throwing in the towel.

The dance floor is filled with wall to wall people like a standing room only concert and when that is full they jam themselves into the areas around the tables. Grizzly Rose needs to seriously lower their "sold out" status by at least a hundred people. The drinks are also expensive. I seriously don't know what the draw is anymore - no room to dance and expensive beer. I won't be going back.

We didn't try the food but our son indicates it's good pizza. There was a large selection of beers with favorite local, national and international brands. When we arrived, a small bouquet of flowers awaited us at our table. We had floor seating and enjoyed the music and the food. There was a 3 course menu that we chose from: started with the strawberry salad and peach glazed pork belly paired with grapefruit fizz mocktails. We both chose the seared halibut as our entree, and dessert was the chocolate stout cake and coconut panna cotta. WOW. That coconut panna cotta was absolutely one of the best desserts I've had. It was light and wonderful, perfect way to end the meal.
