Not a bad little venue. I though the ambiance was really nice. The side walls were kind of this art deco painted facade that makes you feel like you are in an old David Lynch movie and the ceiling had red ambient light streaming through. Merch table was easily accessible and right at the front. The check you with metal detectors when you get in. Really easy to bring anything you need. Two bars. One downstairs and one upstairs. Some bad spots to stand downstairs but upstairs had some pretty nice little spots. Unless you are a die hard about being right near the stage, I would recommend going upstairs and grabbing spot early if possible.

Great place to see a show. Wherever you are, you have a great view of the stage and performers. Sometimes there is seating upstairs in the balcony, but for the show we were at it was all floor and all standing room only except for a handicapped area.

The best place for afters! Holds around 2000ish people. The DJs are so close to the crowd. Simple style. Big enough for some sick visuals. Serves Alcohol until 2 open till 330am

Incredible space. Acoustics were on point. Lighting was fantastic. Staff were friendly. As for parking, I would recommend doing Uber/Lyft, carpooling or getting someone to drop you off. Security moved fairly quickly. They do check IDs and give out wristbands or X your hands. The lady checking my ID even wished me a happy belated birthday. The space is beautiful and designed effectively. There are clean bathrooms on the balcony and there's even a bar, although our shirley temples weren't great. However, I like that they reduce plastic waste by reusing the cups that they use. Get here early if you want a good seat on the balcony. Or even just a seat. It fills up quick. The theatre was sold out so once the floor was packed everyone came flocking to the upper levels. Never once did I feel hot, thanks to their great working air conditioning that I felt throughout the show. I love the colorful walls and the entire aesthetic. The Gothic is truly one of a kind and a fantastic place to see a artist.

Well I'll be damned. Gothic Theatre is another incredible place to see a show in Denver. After driving by Englewood's infamous marquis numerous times, I finally had the opportunity to see one of my favorite working bands a few weeks back and the show was amazing. All Them Witches w/ Blackwater Holylight (2/5/22). Having seen both bands before I knew what I was getting in to. Maybe it's the combination of many things. The excitement of seeing bands on tour again, going to a new venue, etc. The adrenaline rush of live music is back and it makes me SO happy. But holy cow, the sound here is top notch. More similar to the Ogden than the much smaller Bluebird (which I've stated in the past as my favorite club in Denver). Hmm, after one show Gothic won me and my friends over. We were just so impressed with how both bands sounded. It's a testament to the artists obviously, but also to the sound engineers and the venue. Security was a breeze. Coat check was easy. Bathrooms are both upstairs. The circular bar made ordering beer fairly fast (for a concert venue). I hope more of my favorite bands add Gothic into the mix!

I'm going to write this review as a praise for the staff. They were nice and it's never easy to work security when the concert is primarily fangirls. While I was waiting in line, a staff said I heard him (Eric Nam) during rehearsals and he sounds really great which is awesome because it makes our job easier. There was a nice female staff that helped me put my VIP bracelet on and the Covid vaccine checks went smoothly. Be nice to the staff and they'll be nice to you. I had the staff members tell me that no matter what happens, I'm the first in line and the first to enter. For context, doors opened at 6:30 and I got there at 5pm and parked in the neighborhood behind the theatre. There were lots of parking available in the neighborhoods and there's no time limit after 5

Went to a Gavin DeGraw concert and had the best time. Venue was loud but not overbearing. The line was long but went quickly. Gets super hot in there when it's so crowded. My water which came out of the fridge was not very cold at all I think they had just stocked the waters before the show. Did not go to the bathroom so not sure about that one. Love how there is free and close parking. Also plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

I loved this theater and there was plenty of parking around. It has older vibes. Layout was great and good sound. Only issue is that it was really hot the first hour until they finally turned the air on

One of my favorite intimate denver music venues. Total retro art-deco style and pretty centrally located in the heart of downtown Englewood. I know it was recently purchased by a large corporation (shocker..), so I'm not sure how it's changed since I was there in fall of 2022. Go early if you prefer to sit during a show. There are only a select number of seats along the railings that get snagged pretty quickly.

I'll admit, I'm not the insane music lover who has a favorite band and sees them play multiple times a year. There are many times when I don't' see a concert at all within a calendar year. This one however, has been one for the books. Maybe it's just because some of my favorite artists have come to Denver or maybe my tastes are changing and more is interesting to me - who knows. All I know is I truly dig the smaller venues. Recently I came to the Gothic to experience the Band Perry (along with Lauren C and Chelsey F) and it wasn't entirely what we expected, but was fun nonetheless. PRO's:  + Venue is conveniently located in South souuuuuuuthhhh Broadway, making it close to home!  + Great pre/post bar options are close to the venue, making for a great start or end to the evening. + Venue is large, yet intimate with a dark interior, plush seats (if you're fancy), a two tiered deck of seats and a large GA area for standing and dancing! + Full bar - with plenty of beer on tap, wines and a larrrrrrgeeee selection of liquor! + Staff seems to manage the crowd well. From entering the door, through the metal detectors, and the packed bar, Gothic staff run a tight ship. + Often times, artists will allow for guests to meet the band and snap photos - in a staged area! CON's:  - The parking is atrocious. The lot and street fills up fast. Best bet - to be dropped off. - There aren't THAT many options, within walking distance. - Who you see and the time you arrive totally determines how packed the space can be! - Drinks are super strong and pricey. I opted for a vodka soda with lime and it was a whopping $11. Word to the wise: don't bring your own alcohol. They don't like that! - It's obvious they don't always enjoy their jobs, as they can be a bit pushy and confrontational. - If you head outside for fresh air, there is NO-RE-ENTRY. Although the pros and cons balance each other out in this case, I know I'll be back to experience the greatness that is the Gothic.

Beware if parking in adjacent lot. It is a pay lot. It's not obvious, and they will send you a parking ticket for $50. Myself and the other concert goers parking there are the same time didn't see the info and thought it was a free lot. If you dispute it, the company says they have adequate signage.

The menu is most definitely Cajun cuisine, and that is what I appreciate about it the most. I ordered the meatloaf cheeseburger under the Roadhouse Traditions of the menu. This was worth it. The meatloaf is tender, moist, and juicy. The brioche bun adds a good grabbing point for your hands for this beast of a meal. Instead of fries, the bartender/server/owner allowed me to try the hush puppies as a trade out. This was very nice of him to do and of course was not expected nor expected in the future. Wow, I didn't expect to be blown away by a bar! The Lazy Greyhound is not your typical watering hole - the establishment is a chic speakeasy-style cocktail lounge inspired by the classic British gentlemen's clubs of the 18th and 19th centuries. Nestled within downtown Littleton on Main Street, the location is a hidden gem amidst numerous breweries. After easily finding free street parking nearby, we arrived shortly before 8:30 PM. Entry was like stepping into a different world through an unassuming exterior - inside, the dimly lit room's timeless elegance with Chesterfield leather sofas was softly illuminated by the three stained glass pieces above the bar, one of which depicts the venue's namesake. The tasteful décor adds a touch of class and sophistication to the intimate ambiance and handsome atmosphere. After we were granted to enter past the red velvet rope at the front door, we grabbed a seat at one of the Chesterfields. The comfortable lounge seating made for a cozy spot for relaxed socializing and the music volume was perfectly pleasant for personal conversations. The setting was casual, but refined, with vintage touches. My kind of place, for sure. To complement the stylish environment, The Lazy Greyhound offers an extensive menu featuring a unique blend of timeless classic cocktails, "OLD DOGS/TRIED & TRUE CLASSICS," and creatively crafted modern drinks, "NEW TRICKS/SEASONAL CREATIONS," as well as beer, wine and "SMALL BITES/SHAREABLE SNACKS." Remarkable service also adds to the delightful experience. Our server, Zach/Zack/Zac (sp?), was warm, friendly and genuinely engaging - he took the time to guide us through the impressive menu and was eager to offer beverage suggestions based on our preferences. I was looking for something with an egg white foamy topping, so he suggested the AMARETTO SOUR, IMPROVED ($15) which was velvety and the signature almond sweetness was not overpowering. Alyssa went with the ALWAYS ON CALL ($15), a deliciously creamy coffee-forward mixed drink. We also ordered the PINK SQUIRREL which Zach/Zack/Zac comped for us due to the long wait. The retro, indulgent mixed drink tickled us pink with its hue and creamy, sweet and nutty flavour. Serving the PINK SQUIRREL on the house to us reflected The Lazy Greyhound's commitment to customer care and satisfaction. Felixx ordered the yummy MEAT & CHEESE BOARD which was served with thoughtful presentation. True story: I super suck with electronics and am practically blind without my eyeglasses, so I accidentally undertipped Zach/Zack/Zac while using the handheld payment system. When I saw the receipt back at Alyssa's house, I was horrified to see that I hadn't tipped him what he deserved. I returned to The Lazy Greyhound on the 24th just before 11 PM. Even though they were closed and the doors were locked, I knocked until someone answered so I could personally give cash to Zach/Zack/Zac to make up for my mistake. He was very gracious and thankful. The Lazy Greyhound immediately earned its spot as a favourite bar of mine through their intimate, speakeasy-style atmosphere combined with their innovative concoctions and welcoming service. They stand out as a premier destination for a high-quality, relaxing and memorable evening.

I ended finishing it but my friends enjoyed it! The equinox is a light and refreshing drink, which could benefit from a little more lemon (or the lemon juice was on the lighter side that day). Overall it's a spot we frequent when visiting our best friends in Littleton. We love the quaint and Victorian atmosphere and he staff has always treated us well.

Walking distance from the Starbucks at Broadway and Virginia, this is a large, yet intimate venue for music that has plenty of seating in the stage area and also in the bar. We went there for the Jazz Jam they have on Wednesday nights. Unlike the Blue Jam at Rusty Bucket on Wednesday nights, where seating is limited, the place gets packed and loud, and dancers block the view of watching the band, the Jazz Jam is an ideal venue for people who enjoy watching and listening to quality Jazz musicians. The stage is raised so it's easy to watch the performers. Most on stage were either students or professors of music from Colorado University, and all were talented musicians. One saxophone player (a CU alum?) just got back from a tour with the Glen Miller band. The patrons were 20 and 30 somethings and many of them were there to play in the jam. The jam started out with an hour-long set by the Kat Ellis Quartet, a very talented singer backed by a band of seasoned professionals. The food looks good in the pictures and my hamburger had all the right ingredients, but I ordered it well done and it was almost charbroiled. But their garlic fries were great. I would just order a basket of those for dinner next time. Service was good and they kept coming around to make sure our needs were met. PARKING The jam starts at 7pm and we got there at about 6:30. There was still street parking within yards of the front door. There is also parking in the back, off of the alley. It's a parking lot that is shared by the Italian bistro next door. It's definitely a place I want to visit again.
