I have seen Lil Devil's along Broadway for years. Glad we decided to finally give it a try. Fun, hole in the wall kinda bar that is very LGBTQIA+ friendly. Chill bar vibe with couches or high top tables to sit at. Patio offers a lot as well, but it was a bit too cold on the night we went to give it a try. The bartenders take very good care of you throughout the evening. You can order at the bar or they will come to you and you can order through them. That's a nice gesture, especially in the evening when it tends to get very busy. When going to use the restroom, be aware that you will need to cross over the dart line. So, keep those eyes peeled for those tossing a dart or you'll end up being the bullseye. I did not try the food, but it looked like, from the menu, they have a solid menu for bar food. Really love hanging out at this bar. Great patio space, friendly bartenders and staff, affordable drinks, and low key vibe. My friends and I like to come here and hang out on the patio. Lots of space, plenty of tables, and a chill area. Good for groups or keeping it small. The inside is cozy and not crazy loud if it's cold and you're wanting to be indoors. Really like that we can come here for a decent priced drink and not be surrounded by youngins or tourists. Nice to be able to relax and have a beer or seltzer that's not going to cost an arm and a leg. Drinks here were good (and strong). Mostly come here for the vibes. It's popular, and the outdoor seating is so lovely. I wanted to try this seasonal snickers-tink, and it was the best warm cocktail I've ever had. Don't be afraid to ask for a bit more mixer with what you order. Men's bathroom doesn't lock, and has a toilet and urinal right next to each other. So I recommend not going #2 here if you can avoid it. read more

I love this spot. It's a Denver standard and caters to the LGBTQ regulars but makes everyone feel welcome. The bartenders are always super friendly and pour a good drink. I have my favorite cocktails but like to try their drink specials of the season. They have a cute patio space and off-street parking. Its the type of place that when you enter, you feel that you've stepped into a community. I don't visit often enough but this place is the jam. read more

This bar is extremely cute and such a gem. I love the patio as well as the drinks, and the staff. The service is pretty good, everyone is friendly. It is a great place to go on a date, or just grab a drink. I have done both. The drinks are decently poured and the happy hour is one of the top in the neighborhood. Stumbled into this lovely little lounge last night before heading to a comedy show and after dinner at Burndown on Broadway. From the sweetheart at the door checking ID's (who offered to hold my takeaway box while I got my ID out of my purse), to the fabulous bartender, to the impeccably dressed man walking around offering cookies, to the darling man with the great smile standing behind me in line for drinks, I loved it ALL. It seemed like everyone knew everyone, like Cheers but gay, still, no one treated us like outsiders, literally the best! I realized as we were leaving that they have an outside patio with a fire pit, so I have to come back and check that out. If I could give 10 stars, I would! read more

We visited while we were on the waitlist at Adrift and I wished we had just stayed at Lil Devils! The inside is a mix of cozy and inviting plus a touch of dive. Everyone we engaged with, from the bartenders, to floor staff, were warm and friendly. There are some solid beers on tap and it looks like it would be fun to play darts. Idk it's a waste of a great patio. They should mix up the music & have djs with different nights. If you just wanna hear the same classic rock songs over & over, and hear the same Fleetwood Mac song twice if you stay long enough, this is your gig. I guess it's a gay bar, but it's run by the elderly at heart, who just like the same 'ol same 'ol. I'm not sure how a business makes money this way. Don't get me wrong I love nostalgia. I like Li'l Devils because it's a laid back neighborhood gay bar that doesn't give shade when shade is due (sometimes, you need a break from the shade, so get those sunglasses on, girl!). The patio is wonderful for soaking up some summer rays. An added bonus is that it is dog friendly, so show me them puppies! Additionally, there is a grill out back so get some grub in that tummy before you pass out from the amazing drinks. When I came in for Pride last summer, I may have indulged in quite a few jello shots that came in reusable penis jello pumps. Yummy. I eventually had to throw away the penis pumps because I forgot to wash them and they surprisingly had a lot of nooks and crannies where jello could be lost and forgotten. Too much work, but so much fun. I come here to relax with the gays and enjoy myself without the hassle of uptight bartenders and overcrowded bar stools. The bartenders here are always so nice and are excellent at pouring drinks (which is good, since you know, that's the job). Oh, for a bar on Broadway, the restrooms are actually decent. This is my favorite gay bar in all of Denver! I highly recommend it! We had our friends 50th Birthday party there last night and it was FABULOUS! Tony and Justin, the Owners blew us away and exceeded our expectations! The food quality and presentation was flawless, they decorated and made it feel so festive and warm, and their wait staff ran the entire function like professionals. We got multiple bids from a couple other venues before settling on Lil Devils for this important event. No one else could come close to competing with the value we received from Lil Devils-they gave us a huge space, they decorated it in our chosen theme, they catered it with our chosen menu options, and their wait staff worked the party the entire night. They did not put a limit on the length of the party. Just an awesome awesome experience! read more

I'm not certain how this place is still in business. They treat their customers just awful. They're so condescending and rude. At the onset of the pandemic, when most bars were starting to reopen at limited capacity, they (Lil Devil's) started accepting online reservations. I thought it was cool and I was so excited to get out of the house and be around other humans again after so long indoors. When I made the reservations, I received a rude email telling me they only accepted reservations for a minimum of 4 people. I had requested one for 3 people. They had the nerve to ask me why I didn't have a 4th person to ask and implied I was unable to acquire friends. I was pissed because they were actually turning away people like myself who was going to bring two of my friends with me to SPEND MONEY during the pandemic when businesses were hurting. We were forced to cancel because I didn't want to hunt through my Friends List in order to find one other person to come along. Aside from that, we've been to this establishment before the pandemic arrived. They were consistently rude and unaccommodating. They are pushy and sometimes just plain uninviting. The bar staff is rude most times and make you feel like you're an inconvenience. And don't even get me started on the weird bathroom arrangement. When you walk in, there's a solitary toilet facing door and it's not even in a stall. It's in the wide open. I've walked in when someone was trying to do their "No 2" and it was just plain weird. The door doesn't lock, either, so anyone could just waltz on in. I'm not giving these guys another chance and it kills me to say that about establishments for the LGBT community because they need as much support as they can get but, when you treat people like they're a nuisance, then what can I say? read more

Stopped by for a drink with a friend visiting from CA (I know lol) and there were quite a few people inside but it wasn't overly loud so it was nice. Crowd was older and chill. We found a high top and ordered the drink. Bartender on Friday night was extremely nice and poured a great drink, very courteous and just the way he spoke made me felt accepted there (I grew up in Los Angeles so this wasn't my experience at bars back home lol). The staff was fun and friendly, halloween decor was creative and service was really good during Covid times. Wow - a face lift does wonders for a bar (and Goldie Hawn apparently)! What once was the home of The Barker Lounge has now become a classy little place called Li'l Devils Lounge. What strikes me most about this place is it is so relaxed and yet it looks really fancy (especially at night). The renovations by the new owners Tony and Kevin are superb! Plus, the patio is still way cool and a great place to hang out; mostly in the summer tho... A lot of familiar faces hang out here but that just makes the place more down home and comfortable. It doesn't matter who you are you can still get a solid drink and enjoy the crazy fun that Broadway has to offer. There's some solid music selections and usually some interesting video playing on the TVs. I was sold the second I walked in and saw the movie Overboard playing! The bathrooms are new and clean as is all the furniture. There are seats at the bar, high top tables and along the front window lives a large, comfy bench/couch for overflow customers to sit. I like that there are lots of options including patio furniture...on the patio. Too bad the juke box is gone but sometimes you can't trust other people's taste in music. The fresh coat of paint has done wonders for opening up the ceiling and the whole bar all together. There is no beer on tap but there are quite a few bottle/can beer choices, and that's beyond just PBR and Bud Light. This isn't a cheap dive bar but it's not overly expensive either. I would say prices are average. At times the service isn't the fastest but hey as long as there is a positive attitdue smiling back at me it's all good in da hood. This place is a lounge so go and relax with a fancy cocktail, some intimate lighting and an easy going crowd.
