Tracks is such a fun venue and I go every month to Roll on the third Friday! Each Roll has a different theme and everyone really rises to dress up for the occasion! It's so great to see everyone having a good time! Skates are available to rent on a first come first serve basis. I bring my own skates and show up early. 7-9 PM is free entry and less crowds. When it does get later into the evening and the crowds pick up, keep in mind that most people are newer skaters and drinking. So, skate your heart out with them, but be cautious of drink spills, slips, falls, etc. There are 3 rooms to enjoy: - The main rink room - The middle karaoke room - The front room with a mix of people on & off skates There's also an outdoor alleyway that's a great hangout space with wall art, hanging umbrellas, and seating! Sometimes there's even a food truck (weather permitting)! I love this space and the ambience of it all to skate my heart out in! Would absolutely recommend it.

Bartenders are nice and the drinks are yummy. Don't get a double of anything because they're crazy expensive. It's pretty big and they have live dancers as well as a small outdoor area.

ROLL @ Tracks Dance Club 1399 35th St, Denver, CO 80205 This is a themed roller skating event held once a month and it is a fun night on the town. My husband and I are from Louisiana and trying to keep skating alive! We bring our own Harlick Roller Skates made in California, USA. For the past 10+ years we have made it our goal to skate in each state! We love to JAM, slow walk, and couple dance skate on Adult Skate Night. On any adult night skate in the USA. I advise you to check out their online site. Roll allows skaters to buy tickets or sign a risk waiver to skate before arrival. To make the time in line a bit quicker. The positive energy at this rink was exquisite. Also, the parking is street parking.

To Austin B's review- This is the best bartender in town. If he flipped you off it was probably because you were acting out of line (or cutting line). And it was pride weekend. Do you understand how insane it gets. Imagine working nonstop for hours with drunk people like you giving lip and probably not tipping. I'm sorry you can't enjoy the pride festivities without being a bitch to people who are serving you alcohol. Next time don't cut in line and keep your mouth shut. Besides that, tracks is always a great time AND the safest space in Denver.

Who ever thought this Decades-old bar & dance hall, would be my new favorite floor to boogy! The nightclub has featuring rotating theme nights & music on multiple floors with an outdoor patio with a food truck. I've heard plenty of good things from Tracks Nightclub, but I've never thought this place has been jammin' since 1981. We absolutely enjoyed the company of the staff, the management and even bouncers. We had a problem with our reservations, but (John?) the manager was incredibly understanding about our troubleshooting with loading the tickets and made our night an unforgettable one. They have sooo many dance floors, with laidback bartenders who whipped up some delicious drinks. We saw a beauty pageant show, aerial dancers, pole dancing and performers the entire night. The Red Carpet walk was also super classy and retro fun. We enjoyed the crowd, everyone seemed to be respectful and nice. I absolutely was pleased with the easy parking accommodations. My vehicle was incredibly safe around the area!

Not what it use to be. Could use a lot of work making person feel welcome instead of a burden.

When I go out in the evening, it would be great if the performers would stop being so "graceless". Show some dignity (for yourself) & towards our community. Please, Keep your racists, (unnecessarily) foul language and insulting comments to yourself. Venus, who performs on Tuesday evening is funny, beautiful and sings like a professional. I recommend her shows! 9-12:00 every Tuesday night. Everybody loves the Charlie's dancers! I agree. The dancers are terrific. This lip sinking, ghetto behavior speaks CLEARLY FOR WHAT IT IS: Classless, annoying and insulting. The only reason drag does well at Charlie's between 8-12:00 pm is because we all ARE WAITING FOR THESE SHOWS TO END...! (Do that crap downstairs!) Most of my friends just want to dance, and listen to the best DJs in Denver... with the BEST SOUND SYSTEM ON CAP HILL. FYI: THE STAFF @ CHARLIE'S CAN'T BE BEAT! Excellent service. The bar & bathrooms are spotless. The staff is ALWAYS Kind, respectful & adorable. The bar is being very well managed. The "entertainment" needs TO BE REFORMED. I feel the need to express these concerns about how "out of control and offensive" these shows have become. The drag queens are USUALLY drunk. I express my criticisms out loud, because my friends are too afraid of becoming "unwelcome" @ Charlie's (and/or) in the gay community. I probably won't be welcome back...but there it is. Make the entertainment a great evening for all of us and lets do some reflecting about how we present ourselves to the public. Thank you for your attention.

This review is a bit different from my usual ones, but for good reason…read more This past Friday some friends and I attended the Jazz night in the Jungle room and loved it. We eventually transitioned to the Rose room so we could chat amongst ourselves. The space is large, with booths and tables spread out around the room. We initially made ourselves comfortable near the stage, but then quickly moved to a booth as it was larger and could accommodate the rest of our friends who planned to join us. I sat on the outer most side of the booth, with a good view of the rest of the room, and made awkward eye contact with a man, who then continued to stare me down. He then approached our table, became increasingly combative and aggressive, claiming the table was his and honestly, just seemed to be looking to fight. I write this review not to dog on the crowd, but rather remark on how safe the staff and other patrons made us feel during this encounter. We held our own, eventually insisting this distraught individual leave us alone, all the while the barista at the coffee bar watched vigilantly, using hand signals to ensure we felt safe. Another table began recording the encounter, which I think further deterred the man from his verbal assault on our group. I've experienced similar at other bars and have been left feeling more scared, but because of the way the community at the Pearl stood beside us, felt regulated after the encounter, and continued to enjoy my night. My only note is that they should lower the cost of wine by the glass, or get bigger glasses! I can purchase the same brands by the bottle at the grocery store for the cost of a glass here. I'll definitely be back

When I…read moresaw the address, I realized it was the old Mercury Café, which I've never been a fan of due to the parking and the general area. Had I known beforehand, I probably wouldn't have come. That said, I was surprised to actually find parking not too far away. I did pass a few questionable characters on my walk over, and I hoped my car would still be there when I got back. Once inside, I met up with my friend. Like others have mentioned, the music in the main bar area was extremely loud--too loud to hold a conversation. It was crowded, and people kept bumping into each other, but to be fair, everyone was respectful about it. No one seemed to be doing it with bad intentions. The line at the bar was chaotic, but once I finally got up there, the bartenders were super friendly and attentive. We eventually made our way to the adjoining room, and it was a completely different vibe--much quieter and more relaxed. We could actually talk. I decided to order food. One server--tall, with black hair and torn fishnets--told me I had to order at the bar. But another server, much more accommodating, let me order from her directly and took great care of us. I ordered the patty melt, and it was surprisingly good--definitely better than what the Mercury Café used to offer (which was strictly vegetarian). Ultimately, though, I don't think I'll be returning. The noise level in the main bar was just too much, and the overall environment felt uncomfortable to me. Yes, it's a bar, but the acoustics in that building are rough for the kind of crowd they attract. I did notice they host various classes upstairs, which could be a cool draw for some people--just not quite enough to get me back.
