A person holds a transparent glass with ice cubes and a black straw, with a lively crowd and colorful string lights in the background. The setting appears to be an indoor venue with a high ceiling and visible structural elements, suggesting a social gathering or party.

Meadowlark is a decent bar/place to go on a weekend night. It's lively albeit on the dingier side, but I like that about it. It has a dive bar energy with decent music depending on the night. I would say it attracts a younger crowd about 20s-30s. I liked when they used to sell soju bottles! It's not the first place I think of when going out in Denver, but it's on the list.

The image shows an indoor bar with a wooden ceiling and exposed beams, stone walls, and multicolored lighting creating a vibrant atmosphere. Patrons are seated at the bar and around tables, some using phones, others talking. There are hanging glasses above the bar, and a neon exit sign is visible. The setting appears to be a social venue with a relaxed vibe.

Meadowlark has been a bar I've wandered in to many, many times on the weekends. They've always got something going on whether it's a DJ downstairs, karaoke night, jazz night, etc. Jazz night in particular is amazing. The group that normally plays there during jazz night is comprised of very, very talented musicians. Be aware that like most bars in the RiNo area, it gets absolutely packed on the weekends so be ready to wait a bit at the bar. One cool thing that sets Meadowlark apart from other bars in the area is the dark, moody atmosphere downstairs and the semi-outdoors area upstairs if you want some air. Both areas have bars so definitely check one out if the other is way too packed. Drinks here are very similar to all the other bars in the area. Not particularly expensive but definitely not cheap either.

If you fancy yourself a semi-ratchet jungle patio where you can blast heaters until you pass out, this is your spot. Drinks are not too pricey and the sloppy 1:30am dance moves are priceless. On Fridays there is usually a $5 cover charge but lemme tell you.. worth it. Once closing time rolls around, chances are you will have severe drunchies. Thankfully, Meadowlark has you covered with a bangin' taco truck that is within stumbling distance. Make sure to scarf down 7-8 tacos with the hottest salsa they have to top off a night full of likely regrettable decisions.

Funky and weird in a good way. They usually have a DJ on Saturday's. Mixed crowed, not overly packed. I was a big fan of the vibe. They have an underground bar which was a whole unique vibe in itself. Enclosed patio outside. Cool place to go to with friends and chill

The image shows a person standing in a dark indoor space illuminated by colorful hanging lamps and neon lighting. The person is positioned in the center, with a DJ setup on the right side of the image. Several other people are visible in the background, some facing the camera. The environment suggests a nightclub or lounge setting with a vibrant, low-light atmosphere.

I caught the Homeboy Sandman concert last month at the Meadowlark Bar. Loved the set up, lights, stage and the working staff at the bar and front door were all nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

This review is for their OPEN MIC (Tuesday's at 9pm) It'll be pretty empty at 8:30pm but I would suggest arriving around that time if you want to have first pick for your time-slot. People started coming in closer to 9pm. They put out the list at 8:40pm and have you sign up for the time-slot you want starting at 9pm with 15 mins intervals (amount of time for your set). The organizer is very adamant about the time and pretty punctual when each set starts/ends. I'd say by 9:30pm there were around 35 people. That's when I decided to play. I stayed until 10pm so can't say how crowded it got after that. Apparently later is when more people show up. The bartenders are super nice and attentive.

Wish I had read the reviews before going here. Like others who've had a terrible experience at this establishment, I've worked in the service industry for about a decade. A friend and I went to Meadowlark at 1am on a Tuesday. They close at 2am. Apparently it was a slow night and we were turned away even though they still had customers in the bar. No worries- we left. 4 patrons walked into the bar. I waited a moment to see if they walked back out since I was told they were closed. When they did not, I walked back into the bar and spoke with the bouncer who said "this is my roommate & my friends". So they turned away paying customers to let in their scrub homies. Tony sucks at his job & I will NEVER return to this dump again. Way to go Meadowlark. Clearly a managerial disconnect.

I see they just added a cute hanging side on the front, so it's easier to locate. Their interior is divided by the huge rectangular bar in the middle. It gives space to both sides. There are TVs all around. There is also an outdoor patio that is perfect for warmer nights. I've been a handful of times and was able to experience it busy and slow! The first time we went is for an event after a Billy Strings concert, and the place was packed. Even then, the drinks came pretty fast. On the slower times, I was able to order their craftier cocktails. Their cocktails are decent. The major upside of this place is the prices! I find them to be on the cheaper side of Denver drinks. Latchkey has quickly become a go-to of mine and can't wait to see them grow more!

Standout dishes were the qual, clams, borscht, warm salad and the desserts. The place is small so reservations advised. Wait staff and cooks are friendly. Aside - one person in our party wasn't enthused about Eastern European cuisine and was a convert by the end. If you enjoy well-prepared, delicious food full of taste, check out Molotov. Everything we had was next-level delicious. We had the borscht, which, when I return, I'm getting my own because sharing is a waste! I would have licked that bowl! We shared 3 or so small plates and were all going to get mains until we discussed with our server, and paired down to 2 mains as they are large. Not a crumb went back to that kitchen on any of those plates. They also have a small, well-curated wine list. We got a couple bottles. I'm pretty sure we also got dessert, as I'm a 3-course girl.
