But they have Fat Sully's which is open all day. I ordered the Italian chopped and a build your own Big Ass slice of pepperoni and anchovy. The salad was great. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. Had I know how truly big the slice was I would've shared the salad. The pizza was thin with a nice chew to it. The pepperoni is the small, cupping kind. Very satisfied with the food. read more

This is a favorite spot of mine to bring visiting friends or family. My parents absolutely loved everything. We arrived right at 11am when they start making the pizza so it was very fresh. The pizza, burger and fries were amazing. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are always delicious as well. Usually restaurants have one or two good items but, Atomic Cowboy has impressed me with everything I've tried there. The pizza is traditional thin NY style, their burger is award winning and their biscuits are a local favorite! The restaurant was decorated so nicely for the holidays, it was very festive. The staff were friendly but, were having some issues with a new ordering system and ended up missing one of our items. Also, I was disappointed with the kids chicken biscuit, it was very small. Amazing Food , I had the the three run double with Scrambled eggs and chose the Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffle Fries , The Chicken was the best I ever had , It was just the perfect crispiness and the Chicken was perfectly tender , I'm a very picky person when it comes too texture and this was by far my favorite. Can't forget Jessie was an amazing Waitress , She was very quick and polite and checked up on us. Couldn't have asked for a better waitress. This is a fun local gem of a restaurant. Basically they have 2 different kitchens, Denver Biscuit Company and Fat Sully's pizza. You can get a great 26 inch cheese pizza for $24. And only $4.50 more for pepperoni. The Biscuit sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. Service was fast and efficient. The food came out hot and fresh. The thin, crispy crust was on brand, but the sauce tasted like something from a frozen slice, and cheese wasn't particularly flavorful. My slice with toppings (mushrooms and jalapeño) was much better than the plain slice I tried. Slices are big, so you'll certainly get your money's worth. Read this as one of the places to try out in Denver. We got here at 11.30am on Labor Day holiday and the wait was about 20 mins for a table of 2. The ambience is nice with interesting decor. Some parts of the restaurants is a little more dimly lit than the rest. They also have outdoor bar stool seating. outdoor patio and nice comfy ac indoor seating which we opted for. We ordered the Franklin with mushroom sauce and an egg and strawberry shortcake. The Franklin was ok. After the first few bites you feel that the taste starts to downgrade. It's hard to describe but as you take every bites it's gets less better. The strawberry shortcake was too sweet with the whip cream on top of it, once you remove it , it's slightly better. I went with the Beeler chicken biscuit that has house made ranch, house made pickles, and a Nashville hot chicken breast. Had a sweet taste that wasn't overpowering. The chicken was massive, juicy, crispy, seasoned spice but not super spicy. It wasn't a hot sauce flavor but a special batter flavor. It was so good. It had their ranch and homemade pickles which were a fresh pickle taste that would be missed if you took it off. I was glad it didn't taste cucumber-ish. I also added a slice of cheddar cheese. I ordered waffle fries which were crunchy in every bite with a great clean fried taste. I demolished my plate. We ordered the half size cinnamon roll to go and it was delicious and huge. Yum! Came here after binging Triple D and checking out where in Denver Guy Fieri went to. Was not disappointed! I did miss out on trying the biscuit with the pulled pork since this location ran out but otherwise the biscuit I did try (the Louisiana hot chicken one) and pizza (I just had pep with banana pepper) was delicious. Food alone is great but the service was also very attentive and lively. Was also communicative about the timing of food due to it being two kitchens. Really appreciate it. After a great concert at the Bluebird just down the street we decided to stop here for some food! We are so thankful thier kitchen is open till close. It was open seating and we were greated right away by our waitress Liz. Started with the Carmel espresso martini, our waitress informed us it was added to the menu that day. It was amazing, the sweet carmel with the tart espresso was a wonderful combination and perfect for the holidays. We then shared the waffle fries, the seasoning on the fries is so good and they were so crispy. After was the big ass slice, it was so kind of her to offer to cut in half for us since we split it. I was honestly blown away with how good the pizza was, the crust was not too thick but not too soft, it was just right. The cheese was stringy and not overly greasy. We devoured it so quickly. We ended the meal with the ice cream sando and to say it was delicious is an understatement. The taste of the fried biscuits with powder sugar reminded us of beignets thats how sweet and soft they were. They fell apart easily with just a spoon. The warm biscuit with cold oreo ice-cream between was the perfect paring. It also did not escape us that our waitress timed the food coming out perfectly! She waited until we were done eating our meal before bringing out the dessert. We loved that and were able to enjoy every last bite! OMG Denver Biscuit Company (also falls under the name of Atomic Cowboy/Fat Sully's) is absolutely fantastic! Their biscuits are some of the butteriest, moistest, flakiest biscuits I've ever had! I'm glad there are a handful of DBC locations throughout the city of Denver so the wealth is well spread. We came here for breakfast and I like that this DBC in particular is housed in the same space as two other restaurants, so that there's food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a wide variety of it all as well. Given that it was breakfast though, we all ordered the biscuits and what a hearty breakfast it was! These biscuits are massive - frankly, everything here comes in massive proportions including the largest cinnamon roll I've ever seen! Not only are the biscuits massive, but they're essentially sandwiches and come piled on with a ton of ingredients as well! I ordered the K-Mack biscuit sandwich, which had a Korean spin on all of it. It was Korean fried buttermilk chicken (so tender and flavorful!), toasted sesame seeds, sesame mayo, pickled daikon (the perfect burst of tart freshness - could've done with even more given how heavy all the other ingredients are), shredded cabbage, and green onions. The chicken was perfect, the biscuit was perfect, my belly was wildly happy! On top of it all, I added a side of McHashbrowns because I had to try what these were, given that I do really enjoy the McDonald's hashbrowns. These ended up being some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. Twice the thickness of a McDonald's hashbrown and in a triangle shape, perfectly crispy on the outside and potato-y on the inside! It was way too much food and easily split into two full meals, but it was so worth it! The giant biscuit cinnamon roll that my friends and I ordered was so good as well. Like I said earlier in this review, it was truly massive and we also added the option of the bacon bits on top because we wanted to try that out. The result was delicious - salty and sweet! And even among the three of us, we couldn't finish the cinnamon roll given that we each had ordered biscuit sandwiches as well. We all ended up taking leftovers home for another meal in addition to not even being hungry by the time dinner rolled around that same day, even after a ton of hiking and exploring! One pro of this place is that it's open late on a weekday. It's also a good place to watch the game. We had wanted dessert and were disappointed to learn that this location didn't serve their famous cinnamon rolls. In terms of the food - the pizza and the burger were good. The loaded fries were also good but got overwhelming. We were disappointed that the service was not very welcoming. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive. Then the food came at different times. I ordered the same meal as another person in my group. Their food arrived and mine didn't. We asked the server after 5 and again at 10 minutes. The server said an excuse that none of us bought. We believe they forgot to put in the order. I didn't appreciate her nonchalant attitude about the ordeal while I was watching everyone else eat their meals because otherwise they would have gotten cold by the time mine came out. It really put a damper on the overall experience. My food came out late after everyone else was done and she didn't offer anything to make up for the terrible timing. The toasted bun gives a garlic bread vibe that works well with the double smash patties and cheese, onions and pickles round out the experience. The meat is juicy and didn't need any condiments, a refreshing change in the Denver food scene. We shared an order of waffle fries and still brought some home. They're well-seasoned but not to salty, just a nice savory that goes well with the house ranch or ketchup. The service was a 10/10, we felt welcomed but not smothered, and easily chatted with the bartender Jake. Christmas decorations were still up, which gave the ample space a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Now this place is deliciously decadent and dangerous. Don't come here if you're on a diet! We ordered several of the biscuit sandwiches and were blown away by the flavors. For starters, the biscuits are delicious. They aren't dry on their own and the savory flavor bomb of the gravy was next level. The Franklin has a crispy buttermilk fried chicken topped with crunchy bacon, an over medium egg (optional), and drenched in the gravy that was to die for. The K-Mack has that sweet heat of Korean fried chicken with a delicious crunchy slaw to round out the sandwich. Both were delicious. Great ambiance at the restaurant with self serve coffee and a variety of different size cups so you can load up on the caffeine. Great and fast service. You can order gravy on the side to top as you see fit. Great, tasty experience and can't wait to go back and try the massive cinnamon roll and pizza. Came here with a large group for a bachelor party, and the servers and the team were fantastic dealing with all of the rowdiness. Pizzas here are HUGE, NYC style so they'll take up most of the table. Very thin crust with scattered toppings, so just be aware that's the style that they're serving. Beer and drink selection was excellent. Servers were again great and very friendly, relaxed with our large group. No nearby parking lot. Near the bar district with plenty of places to go have a drink afterwards within walking distance. I really wanted to like it. We're here for a tournament and it is the 4th of July with my two children. It's not busy but service has been beyond slow. The girl has barely checked on us. Our drinks have been gone since we received the burgers. My pizza was a bit on the dry side but the burgers are actually quite good. Also we received regular fries instead of waffle fries without being notified. We'd have skipped them all together or only ordered one side instead. The ambience is nice, it's a cute place. Food: Had the 'Lights Out' burger, supposedly the best burger in Denver. Overall it was good. The sauce tasted nice, meat itself was good and had a nice flavor. About five to ten minutes goes by and my friend and I don't have our burgers. We ask our waiter, and he explains that they have six, SIX chefs working on the pizzas and only ONE working on making burgers. They get a lot of DoorDash orders and he said they kind of get tossed together. Anyways another 5 to ten minutes goes by and we finally get our burgers. Unfortunately, everyone else is done with their pizzas :(. My friend spilled her drink and broke the glass unfortunately, but our server was very kind and offered her another one on the house. Ambience: This was very nice! I liked all the games we had, especially since we had to wait a long time for our food. It was entertaining playing a game while eating. I also enjoyed that they made it fun by letting kids have free hot chocolate. Overall: This was my first time here and I did not have the greatest of all experiences. Would I give it a second chance? Our AirBnB was nearby and we decided to make a late lunch. Little did we know that the full-size pizza was ... well let's just say comically huge. Do we regret ordering it? Absolutely not. We had leftovers to last us the entire weekend. Size aside - the pizza was actually delicious. We built our own with pepperoni and mushrooms. I got the Lola, and my friend got the Dahlia. The honey butter and apple butter are SO good as are the Nashville hot chicken, bacon, and sausage. Very good orange juice and grapefruit juice as well. I wish I had more time to come back for the dinner menu because that burger and pizza look damn good. Service was great, and it was pretty easy to get seated at the bar.
