Went here for a family birthday burger... staff was lazy and sluggish. my brother and I each ordered a "pint of beer" (as advertised) with our lunch. The "pint" of beer was $7, which would've been fine if it was actually a pint, BUT the cups looked super small, so we asked the manager (dreadlocks and Hawaiian shirt) if he could verify that it was a pint. He poured 16 oz of water into a pitcher and had us verify it, then, attempted to pour it all into the alleged "pint" glass. He filled it all the way to the brim,(which was more than the bartender filled) and there was clearly 2-4 oz of water remaining in the pitcher. When we said "yep, so not a pint" he said "what do you want me to do, give you each a sip of beer?", to which my brother replied "when I pay for a pint, I want a pint". Instead of owning it, despite verifying that they were falsely advertising, the manager refunded us for the beer, and told us that we were never allowed back. read more

They have a few seats for outdoor dining and a handful of indoor seating available - high tables or booths. Plus they have a full bar with great service. Came here to try out Denver Biscuit for brunch around 1pm.. and might as well try one of their cocktails - it's 5-o-clock somewhere right? I am a huge fan of Moscow mules so I had to try their Strawberry Rhubarb Mule. I have to say, wow! The ratio of the vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer were perfect - not too strong and super tasty. These garlic knots are dangerously good! The BEST I've ever had! I loved them with the pesto mozzarella dip and my husband preferred them with the marinara....thankfully they come with both! We had them on happy hour for $6....what?! We also had a slice of pepperoni pizza each. These are MASSIVE! There were only two of us and I'm so glad we didn't order a large. It's the size of a dinner table. The crust was fantastic, crunchy in spots but still chewy. And you can never go wrong with the little pepperonis. The food here is usually very good and the servers are kind and attentive! My only real complaint is that I've come here twice now and arrived a few minutes earlier than the friends I was meeting and had staff refuse to seat me as an incomplete party. That is their policy at atomic cowboy and totally reasonable except that both times this has happened to me I've seen people come in and join an incomplete party that was seated before me and/or watched other people tell the hostess they were waiting on their party but still be seated. If I wasn't coming here for trivia weekly I wouldn't continue to come here given that there appears to be highly unequal practices regarding seating incomplete parties. read more

I am so glad I chose to eat here before going axe throwing. The vibe here is very relaxed and welcoming. Lots of people get thrown off with the address and the little to go pizza window when driving by on the main street , the sit down establishment is right on the corner, find a street parking and walk in to be seated. There is bar seating , booths , open table seating. The vibe is a pinup funky retro space punk rock feeling. My type of place. Great beers and pizzas to chose from. This started great, I was recently there just I wanted to get quick slice. Order from their outside window thinking it might take 15mins at most. I was there for 30mins and no pizza! When I ask the employees if my order was coming soon? This idiots had lost my order and on top of all rude..&@?! If you want a seat on the very small patio, be prepared to wait. For a seat inside, it was a two minute wait. Service was good, price were average for quantity/quality, and the food was excellent. Only quibble is that the menu states waffle fries and only after I ordered and the waitress was practically walking away did she say "oh we are out of waffle fries, so regular fries are okay right". We came in on opening day of the Rockies AND it was around lunch time, so it was pretty hectic. We grabbed a seat on the bar. Atomic Cowboy is made up of two restaurants: Fat Sully's Pizza and Denver Biscuit Company. We both ended up ordered from the biscuit side and the food came out very fast. I decided to grab a couple slices to-go at their to-go window. There was a short line and a little bit of a delay before someone helped us at the window even though you can see them all working in the kitchen. The guy who took our order was super friendly. We order a slice of extra cheese pizza and one with regular cheese. We waited about ten minutes and got the slices in a box to go. Once home, unveiling the slices inside the box -- they are huge!! One is bigger than my face and probably equivalent to two slices. The extra cheese choice was perfect because their cheese is good!! I was stuffed after that one slice. We sat at the upper bar with a great view of the whole restaurant. It was pretty busy. We signed up through yelp for the waiting list which was nice, they text you when your table is ready. There's some cool shops in the area, funky and hip so there's some good window shopping as you wait. I thought the prices were very reasonable especially for the amount of food you receive. OMFG. I've never had a pizza so big. They say 26 inches but I think it was bigger. It almost covered the entire table. We order a bunch of toppings all of which were tasty and plentiful. The manager came up to me and told me to leave for a health violation, yet there were multiple dogs sitting around the tables. An amazing breakfast spot with phenomenal service. We heard so much about Atomic Cowboy on our last trip out, we were happy we got the opportunity to try it this trip! Our server, Leslie, had great suggestions and we were able to try a decent amount given the size of the biscuits! We started with the Schooner, which was catfish, slaw, and housemade tartar. It was delicious on a biscuit and wasn't overly messy. We both got a breakfast cocktail, mine was a smoky Bloody Mary with bacon and a beer chaser, while my friends was a Irish Iced Coffee. With the Schooner being a decent size and the Bloody Mary feeling like meal itself, we only managed to order the biscuits and vegetarian gravy. The vegetarian gravy is mushroom based and was so delicious. They also have vegan/vegetarian sausage patties you can substitute in your biscuits or even the burger on the menu. After having a beer at the Goosetown Tavern, I had a fantastic anchovie slice of pizza here. I commend any place that puts fish on pizza, and am always overjoyed to find anchovies on a pizza menu. Cheap, salted bony fish is not something most people would want on their food, but I really enjoyed it.
