BEST MEAL IVE HAD IN DENVER!! We are from Chicago so to be honest, traveling can be difficult when it comes time to eat. Not only did the food raise the bar for other places in the area, the fries were some of the best we've ever had period. lol Staff was amazing and super accommodating not only to us but other patrons! I'm very observant and definitely noticed how friendly they were with a customer with special needs. I realize this is a chain so I want to not only commend the Denver team, but the entire company. Can't wait to eat here again! read more

We sat outside with our dog after we arrived from the airport at Union Station. Very convenient. Cadillac Wagyu burger was very tasty. I would get this again. Side of fries $5 were ok. Chipotle ketchup was good. Doddy Melt Patty Melt was alright. It could use a little more sauce for flavor. We used the leftover chipotle ketchup from the fries on it. Oreo milkshake (large) was a huge waste. And we couldn't even drink it thru the straw so we had to use a spoon. It honestly just tasted like cream. Next time get a different flavor and the taster size. Def too much food with two burgers, side of fries and large milkshake. read more

This is the real deal burger and american food restaurant! After eating Bonchon korean chicken (see previous review) this was the best food in denver. We got the parmesan truffle fries, Doddy Melt, the Classic burger, and the Double Brownie Chocolate shake. The fries were so freaking good, and the sauce was perfect. Would definitely recommend them. The burger and melt was genuinely so delicious as well. Like one of the best burgers i've had. I bet the other burger options are also amazing. We even got another melt because of how good it was. Shake was super good as well, tasted like pudding. Next is the service. The servers were super friendly, and seemed like they wanted to be there. The restaurant was super empty because we ate pretty late, and food was quick. Was super clean and nice inside! Booths and chairs and a bar. Sadly, there was a bunch of fences and construction outside due to some event, so it took a little bit to get here. Not hopdaddys fault though. Would definitely recommend! Keep up the great work! read more

My Cadillac burger was fabulous despite being undercooked. I'd asked for medium well and it was closer to medium. Fries were good but they were out of ketchup and Coke. Weird. Very friendly staff greeted me at the door and took my order. read more

Overall I thought the flavors were pretty good on the burger! It was juicy and cooked well. Portion size was good with getting fries and a drink. The fries were pretty meh in that they really weren't memorable and barely had any actual flavor, so not sure if they just use flavorless potatoes or don't use any other seasoning other than lots of salt. The chipotle ketchup was pretty tasty though so I just drowned the fries in that. Overall the vibe was good, food was tasty, and employees were friendly. read more

Dropped in here while taking the train to the airport. I love a patty melt so I ordered the Doddy Melt because it said it was made with two smash burgers. As you can see from the pictures, they are thin patties, but definitely not smash burgers which by definition start out with a ground ball of meat which is smashed on the grill. Smash patties and then have uneven edges which would give it the charred flavor. Service was good. Ambience is very nice. Pricing is very reasonable for downtown Denver. Definitely worth a visit if you're traveling through Union Station and need a quick bite you wanna get out of the station. read more

It's been a minute since I've been to hopdoddy but was really craving a burger with fries, so ended up here for dinner! Ordered the wagyu Cadillac burger (5/5) and it was just perfect. Juicy, flavorful, perfect size. The hot honey and sage sweet potato fries were also amazing (5+/5). You'd think that the fries would be soggy with the sauce but they were not. Not only were they delivered piping hot, but they were crispy for a good half hour. There's some heat to it because of the hot honey but not spicy imo. Easy to find a table around 6:30 pm on a weeknight and conveniently located near union station. This will definitely be a stop when I'm in Denver. read more

Searched our area of town in Denver for a good burger and fries, but could not get excited by anything near us. Hopdoddy Burger Bar is an old standard we have not frequented in years but was quick and convenient to our location. It was a late lunch and we decided to try a chain restaurant in Denver. This is not our normal MO. We ordered from a disinterested cashier that maybe uttered 2 words and never smiled. This could be a bad choice, hope not. We sat down at a high booth near the window to people watch on a cold Denver day. Our food arrived quickly and was nicely presented. The goodnight / good cause burger with cheddar, BBQ sauce, mayo, caramelized onions, jalapeno peppers, lettuce and tomatoes was beautifully presented. A hint of pink indicated it was cooked to order. Our burger was delicious, not over-stuffed and had a unique flavor enticing you to have another bite. The hot honey and sage sweet fries were piping hot and had INCREDIBLE FLAVOR! Hopdoddy Burger Bar was a delicious treat. The food was flavor packed, perfectly cooked and the hot honey fries were OVER-THE-TOP GREAT. It is unusual for us to go out of town and try a chain restaurant, but Hopdoddy Burger Bar hit the spot. The cashier needs to learn to communicate or stock supplies in the back out of customer view. The flavor and tastes for our lunch was spot on. Good job, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, we were pleasantly surprised. read more

Always good for a go to fantastic burgers, easy entry with a wheelchair and tons of fries

Tried the Classic burger with the farmhouse deluxe upgrade on bison meat. It was awesome. The egg had perfectly runny yolks, the bacon was perfectly crispy and smoky and the bison patty was seasoned so well I was sad when I finished the entire thing. Oh Hopdoddy, which everyone wants to accidentally call "HopDADDY", you're "ok". It's got a very commercially feel like a Hooters, or something. They have some happy hour but they try and make you sit at the bar seat, which are super limited. And, seriously the patio should be included. What is more casual than the patio? The causal folks should get the happy hour, too. Which *I think* we could order our own drinks and take them out and get the special, but it's just making customers go our of their way to navigate and figure it out here. I don't like that for anyone, including myself. I know I ordered here a couple times before and ya know what -- I have no recollection of what I got. So... what does that tell you? read more

I ordered the Magic Shroom burger! And let me start by saying if you love burgers, go here! If you like friendly staff, go here! If you like something walking distance from other fun spots, go here! They didn't disappoint. I was sold when the cashier told me, "any burger can be made with chicken". When I am in Denver again I'm going to make this a stop. Continues to be a must stop whenever I'm in a city that has one. Fresh ingredients and I'm not sure if the burger or the bun is the star on any of the hamburgers. And the Parmesan truffle Brussels are highly recommended. I decided to not be the guy that orders off the menu every time and cheated on my Llano Poblano with a Farmhouse which was fantastic. The service is already great at any Hopdoddy location, and Denver is no different. It is always a relaxed vibe but the staff is attentive and willing to answer questions, even for the newbies. read more

Very conveniently located to grab a beer and a burger before a game at Coors Field! You grab a table and then order at the counter- be sure to remember your table number when you go to order- they will ask for it. We had the double bacon jam, which just tasted like a standard bacon burger- I was hoping the jam would add a little sweetness, but wasn't too impressed. We also had the Cadillac Wagyu, which was way more interesting- loved the house made pickles and crispy onions for some extra texture, and the aioli added really nice flavor. Loved the sage and hot honey sweet potato fries- talk about interesting! So much flavor and a great mix of sweet and spicy. They don't come with a sauce, so we asked for ketchup, which was good with them. Ranch might be good too! The decor is very fast food adjacent, mixed with the some upscale elements, perfect for a casual dinner. I would come back to try a different burger and the truffle fries. read more

First time trying bison burger and it was pretty good! Definitely more gamey than usual and the melt was also delicious. The fries were crispy and tasty. The food is overpriced for what it is and the size however. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Tangerine Ale and didn't realize until after they charged me and were hesitant to refund me. read more

I was reccomended this restaurant by my brother in law, who is a vegetarian, but he loved their impossible burger and told me his friends liked the real burgers so I decided to try this place out. Upon entry, it had a nice fast casual vibe and with it conveniently located between Union Station and Coors Field, it definitely feels like the perfect place to grab a bite after the game on your way home. I order their special Chicken Tika burger and a side of truffle fries to share with my friends. I'm not a very big fry person but these were definitely some of the tastiest truffle fries ive tried. There was plenty of flavor and for once, these truffle fries actually tasted unique and not just like ordinary fries. My Chicken Tika burger was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of sauce. The rice patty that is served in the burger alongside the chicken perfectly compliments this combo and the sauce combination in general just works really well! If you're looking for a casual lunch or dinner place, that is also priced fairly, I'd reccomend looking no further than here. They have definitely won over a new customer. I'm excited to try the other unique burgers that they offer here! read more

Thunderbird, no bacon and an order of small fries. Burger was white meat chicken, which I really liked and was big. Although it had tons of toppings it still was missing something, it needed some seasoning. Fries were nicely salted and a generous size for being a small order. Ordering process was hard to follow, as a large sign explaining the process was blocking the walk way and was placed too far from the register. Took us awhile to get someone to take our order, but when they did, staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant was pretty empty, almost all smaller tables had one person sitting in the sun, so the staff kindly cleaned a table for us out of the sun. Vibe was chill and I enjoyed people watching by Union Station. read more

Came around 5:45pm on a Monday and had to wait in line for about 40 minutes. After I got my food the line had totally died down which was a little disappointing. I had the double bacon jam which was great. The burgers were in the $10-15 dollar range. I probably should have gotten two, because one didn't quite do it for me. read more

This is one of my favorite hamburger places in downtown Denver but it's nearly 2026 and you can't use gift cards online. Look, the whole reason I order online is so I can leave my condo and it's ready for pickup when I get there. Also instead of repeating the order 18 times to the cashier (who then still proceeds to get it wrong), I'm the only one responsible for mistakes (or the kitchen). Lastly, you can't use rewards on order ahead apparently either. They all say "for use in restaurant only." Anyway, the 50$ gift card I got for Christmas is just gonna sit in a drawer until they fix their shitty 1997 era app. read more

Man, this food we ordered was either completely forgettable or unedible. The burgers we ordered (farmhouse and frenchman) both were of low quality meat. Surprised because this is Denver and most restaurants we went to had quality meat. Also, we did a takeout order and the labels were swapped, that was also a fail. Their brussel sprouts need to be taken off the menu ASAP. They call it brussel sprouts but they take brussel sprouts toss it in a blender then pour endless amounts of salt on top. Basically brussel sprouts leaves + clumps of salt. Disgusting and not edible by anyone. Edit: Business owner told me to go to https://go.momos.com/brceBq, to "make things right". If happiness came on a bun, it would live at Hopdoddy Burger Bar. We dove into the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Good Night, Good Cause burger, and wow--these weren't just meals, they were experiences. The chicken had just the right kick without blowing out your taste buds, and that burger? Juicy, flavorful, and stacked like it had something to prove. The bun deserves its own fan club--soft, buttery, and basically hugging the flavor like it meant it. We shared a side of fries (keyword: shared, but let's be honest, we all wanted our own) and they were perfectly crispy. Service was lightning fast--food hit our table before we even had time to daydream about how good it was going to be . Plus, the place was tidy and clean, which makes stuffing your face that much more enjoyable. Honestly, if I had room for one more bite, I'd still be sitting there ordering round two. Hopdoddy, you exceeded expectations. My taste buds salute you. read more

Open late and offers mini milkshakes. My friends and I went to the Christmas pop-up bar, Miracle at Union Station, and we chose to eat here afterwards. They offer a wide variety of burgers and different types of french fries. They also offer plenty of milkshakes and they come in mini sizes at a decent price. It was really late, so I just got a classic burger, a mini Oreo, milkshake, and a side of fries. The classic burger normally comes with veggies, but I chose not to have them. The burger was very juicy and hot and fresh! The mini Oreo milkshake is a vanilla based milkshake. With Oreo cookie crumbles. It was so delicious! And the perfect size for a quick evening dessert. You do have to order your fries separately, they do not come with the burger. I just got a regular side of fries. They were very crispy and seasoned well. We got there kinda late, so it was very quiet and not as packed. Which was really nice. You do have to order all of your food at the bar and then they give you a little table number and then they'll bring it out to you. Overall, I would definitely go back! Mom had to wait 30 mintues for a SALAD. Me and my wife ordered a salad and our family of 9 got 8/9 of our orders before my mom got a SALAD.

Unfortunately the food turned out to be really disappointing. I got the good cause burger and the meat was very bland, not as flavorful as I'd hoped. The patty melt was tasty. Also the strawberry fields drink was wayyyy too sour, the staff was really kind and remade it for me but I still wouldn't recommend. Located next to the Union Station, Hopdoddy is a self seating restaurant. You order your food and drinks at the counter, find a seat and wait for your food to be bright to your table. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, so it was fairly busy. There are high table tops and bar seating available. You can also watch a game, they have multiple TVs. I love mushroom so it was a no brainer that I would order their Magic Shroom Burger 9/10. The buffalo fries were so good! 10/10. Drinks were okay 7/10. Street Parking is available but limited. Hopdoddy is located right next to Union Station which is a cool area with a bunch of things to do. There are plenty of places to eat around there but Hopdoddy really stands out for burgers both for the quality of the food and their service. I've tried a few burgers here and they were all great! I specifically really enjoyed the Thunderbird (see image attached) which is a grinded chicken sandwich with peppers and guac. The fries here always taste fresh as well. Another thing to mention is that they do a great job staffing at Hopdoddy. In Denver visiting and decided to stop here for a meal. No line, ordered food and got assigned a table . Heads up, if you are like me not wanting any pink in your hamburger, let them know. I did not realize how pink it would be and we had to return it for them to remake it. Customer service was amazing to understand and remade both our hamburgers. They even gave us a complimentary shake. They bring your fries before the hamburger, wish it would been at same time because you either eat all the fries or it is cold by the time you get your food. Kids cup too small and my kids kept refilling their drinks. Hamburger was delicious. Sweet potatoes fries was good. read more
