I would highly recommend Syrup City Park. Took my kiddos there a a few days ago, and they were such big fans (and mama got her Bloody Mary)! I had a few questions about different kinds of meat (I am on a STRICT liquid / soft foods diet and can only handle very specific textures of meat), and my server Anna was very helpful. She was so knowledgeable and made me feel secure in my choices. Without her help, I may not have eaten...and mama does NOT want that! Very efficient as well. It was my first time in years being back to Syrup. Years ago I so enjoyed it. I went over lunch time during the week and originally sat at the bar and wasn't getting service so I went to the patio where I didn't have to hear the conversation of staff be more important than serving me a cup of coffee. It was then a good while until I got water and coffee. The food was presented well but I got tacos and tater tots and the tots were served cold. Nothing ruins a meal faster than knowing your dish isn't fresh. The tacos were OK. I didn't care for all the sauce they put on and the gal running the food looked less than happy about being there. Went here on 7/12/26. Around 1130am. 2 adults and 2 kids. About a 15 minute wait. Steadily busy. They have a decent sized patio that is covered. Parking lot is decent sized but could be a problem. Host staff was very friendly. We had called and put our name on the waitlist. Unknown our servers name, I forgot it and it didn't say on the receipt. We ordered pancakes, eggs and fruit for my kids. Not my first time at Syrup, but it was my first time at this location. The staff were so nice and very welcoming. However, the food was very greasy. I got the fiestaBowl from their special menu. I couldn't eat more than few bites, it was very oily. My friend was sitting next to me and got a chicken sandwich and she also did not eat it because of how greasy it was. I've never been a big fan of Syrup, but I had never been to this location and had a yen for pancakes, so I got up early to get some takeout as I know it gets crowded, especially on a weekend morning. It was fairly quiet at 8:30 on Sunday. The host directed me to the bar where a friendly staffer took my order. The order was out in about ten minutes. The takeout box was so hot I could hardly hang onto it. This seemed odd. Pancakes are not usually steaming hot when they come to the table. Could the dreaded microwave have been involved? I don't know. I made my way home and opened the box to discover not fluffy, golden cakes, but a somewhat dense, dark brown mess right on the verge of being burnt. The taste was off, too. It seemed like the flat top had not been cleaned and the pancakes had picked up burnt flavors from previous dishes. Not at all what I was expecting. I won't be back. Ick. read more

Cute diner! Came around 11:15 am on a Saturday and were seated right away. The servers were very attentive. We all got breakfast foods - two garden omelettes with sliced potatoes and breakfast tacos - and we all thought our dishes were solid. I'll speak for myself regarding the garden omelette- it was fine, a little oily, not overly flavorful. I was not a fan of the potatoes, they were super small and crispy, I was picturing something different. My partner thought they were good though. Very reasonably priced. I would come again! Good vegan and gluten free labeling. No gluten free bread but with the potatoes there are options! You can also pay $2-3 extra to do vegan eggs instead of regular eggs. read more

I ordered the cherry creeper Benedict and it came to the table cold like it had been sitting in the window for quite a while, so the waitress took it back to the kitchen and brought it back out 12 minutes later and I think they'd warmed it under the broiler and put some more broken hollandaise sauce over the top. The corn beef was stringy and dried out. The English muffin was so tough I couldn't cut through it. The poached egg was hard as a rock, I had ordered a cold brew coffee with oat milk and the oat milk was curdled which the waitress said oh that always happens. I won't go back. read more

My husband, 2 month old, and I had some friends driving through Denver so we decided to meet up at this syrup location. They also had a baby with them and a small dog. We assumed the wait would be a bit longer for the patio on a warm sunny day with a dog. We were told 15 minute wait which we were pleasantly surprised by. 15 minutes later, the host came out and told us it would be an additional 40 minute wait without being totally clear as to why. We asked why and she mumbled about how someone sat themselves on the patio so there was no more room. We asked if it was possible for them to ask the party that "sat themselves" to get up and be put on the waitlist because they had other customers waiting but they didn't say anything other than "sorry". It was really frustrating because either they didn't have the guts to ask other customers to follow their rules (who sat themselves), the host made a mistake and didn't own it, or we have to assume they didn't want to seat us because we had two babies & and a small dog. We don't know why because they were not direct about why the wait time changed and couldn't answer our questions. We will not be returning after feeling totally dismissed. read more

The food was incredible. We had the crack bacon, donuts and split a breakfast burrito. It also came out to the table super fast. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating with out questions. I would recommend that the gluten free options be labeled better because on the menu it looks like they can make any sweet item but we picked two items and the server very politely said those are not available as a gluten free option. Table didn't have silverware and had to ask the waitress 3 times for a dog bow and eventually asked someone else. Sweet lady but not the best. My husband got the Nutella stuffed French toast with an extra French toast with the butterscotch syrup. I got the kitchen sink and we started with the beignets. The beignets were nice and light and perfectly sugary. The syrup wad a nice accompany for them. The kitchen sink...warning...do not order unless you're near a restroom lol. The first trip to Syrup City Park was good, with relatives in tow for a family event! There was some parking on site, but not enough on this Monday morning, so I had to park offsite after dropping off mobility-impaired members. The setting is great, across from beautiful City Park. A lot of great spacing bolsters the Roomy waiting area for the interior dining area and an outdoor section. Our kind server, Abby, was both patient and professional, as our party took its time making decisions. A Pepsi establishment, which always knocks my grade down due to soft drink selections that are not my favorites. I ordered a pair of well-received Crack Bacon as appetizers for the table. It's five pieces of Maple Bacon with brown sugar and black pepper, and it is delicious. Must do this each time moving forward. One of our group ordered the Mile High Tower stack and loved it. Another had an omelet and enjoyed it; one more had a mix that I couldn't identify. I enjoyed the tasty BYO burger for brunch, skipping breakfast because it was too late in the morning for me to indulge in breakfast items. Great spot right across the street from one of the best parks in the city. I love the location, and of course the food is fantastic! I had the Maryland Benedict (crab cakes on a potato pancake) and it was incredible. I also ordered a side of pancakes so I could try out their delicious syrups. My friend got a Veggie Breakfast Bowl and that looked colors, fresh, and delicious. After some advocacy from my son, a recent Denver resident, I gave Syrup a try. Enjoyed the paprika powder-flecked Cherry Creeker eggs Benedict, which includes delicious long shreds of burgundy corned beef hash and a generous pile of crisp, golden tater tots. Syrup has several locations, and I like that this site is positioned next to a park and has an outside covered patio dining area. Planters adorn the perimeter and add color and movement as the perennials bob and sway in the breeze. The proportions are generous, service professional, the price reasonable, and you can walk off an indulgent breakfast just across the street! Plus, you won't miss out on breakfast if you wake up late... breakfast is available all day, but keep in mind Syrup closes at 1:45 PM. read more

I asked the rental car location at the airport for a recommendation for breakfast. One of the employees recommended this. It was about a 15 minute drive, and when I got there, the parking lot was full. Not knowing the area very well, I drove around and saw someone parallel parking down the street. I parked in front and walked 3 minutes to the restaurant. When I got there, I was greeted by a hostess who offered the bar as an option for one. Not a huge fan of bar sitting, but I also didn't want to take away from the families. About 5 minutes after I arrived, there was a line out the door. I went to the back and sat down. Both bartenders were extremely nice. I asked the gentleman what his recommendation was, and he recommended the Cherry Creeker. It was corned beef hash in an eggs benedict with a side of hash browns. Delicious. My only complaint was that the eggs themselves took on no flavor. However, the meal was incredible. Super filling. The staff in general were very nice. I was asking for recommendations to fill my time, and everyone was chiming in. I would definitely go back. For the meal and an orange juice, I paid $20+ tip. Syrup was great! I went with a friend for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Around 9am. They have a super tiny parking lot so we parked on the street. We were able to get right in before the rush. We sat where the indoor meets the patio. I got an iced vanilla latte with the coconut French toast and a side of eggs . My friend got the salmon eggs Benedict. Mine was absolutely delicious, but for $15 I got 3 slices of bread? The price felt off for what it really was... it should have come with the eggs, not as a side I had to order. This is my second time to Syrup City park my first time was years ago and was a bad experience. I will say this time was much better. They were super busy for a Friday morning but we got seated relatively quickly on heated patio. I got the Salmon Benedict that came with tater tots. The Hollandaise was really thin and tasteless otherwise the dish would have been perfect. My guest got the crab cake Benedict and I will say if you'd not like overbreaded with filler crab cake then DONT GET THIS dish. We asked for a side of bacon and they brought the Millionaire bacon I think it's called it was pretty good over sugared in some parts but tasty. Overall not a bad breakfast here. read more

The steak and eggs was sent back because the steak was ordered medium rare and came raw and super fatty and the eggs were ordered over medium and came out poached. My husband and I have eaten at this mostly breakfast place many times and enjoyed a good breakfast. This restaurant has gone down hill. Today we stopped in for breakfast and were very dissatisfied. I order scrambled eggs which arrived at my table cold. The waitress was kind, but once she brought the cold food, she never came back to check that we were happy with our orders. I caught the attention of another server who said he would bring me new eggs, meanwhile the toast and bacon were also cold and when he returned some time with the eggs, there was no warm toast or potatoes as the menu promised. I would not return to Syrup City Park again. The coffee also was pretty awful. I remembered that the coffee in the past was good, not today. The food is absolutely horrible. It was disgusting. The service is horrible. The waiters are lazy and a little bit racist. They did not tend to our table not one time and when I sent the food back, they acted unfazed like I was being a nuisance. I would not recommend going to syrup in city Park at all. Please be sure to turn the other way and probably even go to snooze on Colorado Boulevard. The food was trash. It was cold. The steak was probably not even steak tasted like dog and it was not cooked at all or cooked thoroughly no seasoning whatsoever as a person who is traveling in Denver and coming home to an establishment that I thought was great.
