3/21/2026 I had made a reservation for my fiancé and her girls for brunch and a good time. The restaurant, food and drinks were all superb, but one thing that stood out was the service (waitress). Delia felt off from the jump, we don't know if she was having a bad day but she was making things more difficult then they had to be. Telling my girls that they had to have everything on one bill, not very attentive with drinks like water. Everyone else that my girls interacted with were fantastic and very enjoyable to be around. Once she brought out the flights She had no idea which one was which, we had two girls who were allergic to peach and mango and the fact she didn't know which one had what was a little concerning. Have a very not caring attitude the entire time. But overall the restaurant and food were over the moon, blew all our expectation. Recently visited on a Saturday with reservation. Easy to make a reservation via OpenTable - we were running a few minutes behind and we called to change reservation and the team was accommodating. For a larger party we were seated in their covered patio area which was warm for the cooler season. The service and the drink and food orders were prompt and the team provided great food recommendations. I personally had the shrimp and grits and mimosa French toast and both were delicious. The shrimp and grits were blended so well and the cajun flavor was even throughout the dish. The patio area was packed with larger parties but we never had to wait for service or to be checked on. Had breakfast here on a snowy Friday morning and it hit the spot. We didn't have a reservation and it was pretty busy around 10:30am so they said it would be about a 40 minute wait - yikes. We were about to go someplace else, but then the host offered the counter so our group of 4 sat there. Definitely make a reservation as the place is a bit on the smaller side and gets pretty busy. They've got a great menu, with some classics and some southern-inspired dishes. Our group ordered a round of mimosas and Bellinis to start which were good. I had the Welton omelet with a side of sourdough toast and it was delicious. One of the better omelets I've had (loved the roasted peppers). The potatoes were nice and crispy and seasoned well. My husband got the breakfast skillet and we shared a biscuit with gravy. I tried his meal and it was also really good. We ate every last bite. The gravy could have had a bit more flavor but it paired well with the crispy, salty biscuit. Prices are reasonable for Denver and the food is worth it. I'd absolutely come back. read more

My friend and I were visiting Denver and she suggested we try this place. It was easy to make a reservation (which is a good idea because it's not very big inside). I knew we were in for a treat when I asked the waiter what he recommended and most of the menu was on his list. I decided on the shrimp and grits which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you're super hungry you might like a side with it, but it was enough for me to be satisfied. I tried some of my friend's dad's eggs as well and they were delicious! This was such a great find! Not only is the name perfect but the inside is so adorably decorated. You walk in and instantly just saw cute! Ben's Mom loved it. I loved the different Mimosa options and of course I got the Coconut. Can't say I am have that flavor before. The menu had so many tasty options that it was difficult to choose but I ended up getting the berry French toast, which could be named something else, can't really remember. But man it was amazing. Was in town with some family to hangout and celebrate a couple of birthdays. Decided to stop in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was great! Very welcoming and inviting. The art in the restaurant turns head. This uniquely designed spot gives a nice vibe. The food came out fast and it was GOOD! The shrimp and grits with chicken sausage was amazing. I wasn't too fond of the portion size but I was warned by the waiter. For how good the shrimp and grits were I wanted more. The chicken was cooked to perfection! The Crab Benedict was very good and so were the mimosas. My husband's steak was over cooked but everything else was a ok. They do add an extra state fee and when you check out they add a 20% gratuity to your bill...make sure to check the pay screen and add your own tip before you check out or you could stay with the 20%. Cute and quaint breakfast place in Five Points. A bit crowded but really lovely. Great food and good service, I would recommend making a reservation on weekends because it can get busy. My friend is a vegetarian and found several options that worked for her, and they have a variety of alternative milks for lattes. The oat milk latte was surprisingly solid (I don't always expect a lot for somewhere known more for food!) We split an omelette, some French toast and some beignets. The beignets seemed a bit more dense than I'm used to (reminded me of a brioche donut) but very good! Loved the lemon dipping sauce. The neighborhood is transitional, 10 minutes from CBD, but definitely a hot area for restaurants, coffee shops and art. Why is it called Mimosas? That's their speciality, and almost everyone there has one in hand. The breakfast is great, with perfectly poached eggs (hard to find). I took my nieces to Brunch to celebrate Mother's Day and one niece's Birthday. Had reservations for the patio and was worried about it raining! I went here for a friend's birthday, and while the experience wasn't bad, it definitely left me a little confused. This wasn't my first time visiting, so I pretty much knew what to expect, and the food and vibe did not disappoint. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and since the weather was perfect, we sat outside. The music was great, the decorations were super cute (perfect for photos later), and the food was honestly amazing. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly, and the beignets were delicious, though I do feel like there was a little too much powdered sugar on top because when I went to take a bite, I practically choked from accidentally inhaling it. Minor, but worth mentioning. Other than that, the food was flawless. The odd part came with the service. My sister and I arrived about 30 minutes after the rest of our party, so they had already been sitting with our server for a while. When he came over to introduce himself to us and take our drink orders, he seemed great... but then he never returned. A new server approached the whole table and let us know that our original server "wasn't feeling well" and had gone home, and that he would be taking over. That would've been totally understandable, except about 20 minutes later, we turned around and saw our original server still working. Folding silverware. Helping other tables. Very much not at home. It was confusing and honestly a little offensive, especially since the switch happened right when my sister and I arrived, before we had even interacted with him at all. It was his first day and we were his third customers but he did good. (I wish I remembered his name). I got an order of fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and it was my man first time having them and he enjoyed them so much . He also ordered the sunshine mimosa which was lemonade, and champagne I ordered boujee which was rose, grapefruit juice, with a brown sugar rim. Then I also ordered a Bellini mimosa which was so good . They were so good and so strong. Solid experience at Mimosa. I just left brunch here and the vibe was 10/10. Loved the hip-hop music in the background along with great food. Beignets were 10/10 and went really nicely with both the chocolate sauce and the lemon sauce. Chicken and Waffles (7/10) was also good and I liked that the chicken was a thigh and had some great flavor. I also got a side buttermilk biscuit (5/10) which wasn't all that but decent. Lastly I ordered the side pancake (6.5/10) which was good but I felt kinda silly that it tasted just like the waffle in different form (same batter...joke is on me lol). Don't be afraid to sit 'outside' - it's covered and heated. The food and service were great. Even the music was good but certain tables of people were obnoxiously loud for no apparent reason. It made it so that we couldn't hear anything and conversation was impossible. It's the area so be forewarned or go earlier than noon. Highly recommend reservations to avoid the wait. read more

No wait to be seated on a Sunday at 10:00 am. Mimosas is located in such a cute part of town. Once you enter you'll be greeted with pleasant staff and plentiful brunch vibes and decor. We were seated in the outdoor covered patio section which can accommodate a few dozen people. They were a little understaffed this day and it was obvious, but our server was as attentive as he could be and our coffee mugs were never empty. Now the important part - the menu! Mimosas will not disappoint even the pickiest in your group. The drinks are devine, especially the bloody mary. I would also recommend the mimosa flights. Most of our party of 4 had difficulty deciding between 2-3 options, so we all opted to share our meals family style. Our gym queen chose a high protein option. After the holiday, my friend and I decided to venture to this hidden, unassuming brunch spot. As far as I could tell, there is only metered parking around the place. The restaurant does not give chance if you wanted to use the old fashion coin method for the meters. But fear not, the meters can be paid online. There was plenty of parking at the day and time we went. But as we were leaving there was a wait list to get inside. The interior is colorfully decorated and a fun hip place to brunch. The servers and hosted were kind and efficient especially given how busy the place was. My friend and I started with the Kokomo mimosa flight. These were not the typical mimosa flights that other restaurants serve. It came with Sunshine, a bright sweet and sour drink. Made with lemonade and champaign. This one resembled a delightful lemon drop drink and one of my favorites of the three. The next one was Pina Colada. This one had coconut rum, pineapple juice and champaign. Not really my cup of....mimosa. Not particularly a fan of coconut. It was topped with toasted coconut and a dehydrated pineapple. Lastly there was the Peach Bellini. This one was delicious. Peach puree and champaign creating the perfect way to start. The food was also good. I started with the Bourbon Maple Sticky Bun. It was okay as far as sticky buns go. The topping was a bit thick but otherwise not bad. Then I ordered Dad's Eggs minus the hot sauce preparation. It came with heavenly scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese creating a lovely melody. With perfectly seasoned and cooked homestyle potatoes and waffles. The waffles could have been cooked a little longer. They were a bit soft and doughy. Was in town visiting for a ski trip for my sisters birthday. She had this place on the itinerary for brunch. We decided to go a day earlier than planned. We walked in, and it was people inside but not too crowded. We were able to sit down immediately. For my main meal I ordered a fried chicken breakfast sandwich . It was great! No complaints. No one in our party had any complaints on food or drinks. It was so good that we decided to come back a second time on our 4 day trip. This particular time it was packed! Initially the host told us we'd have a 45 minute wait bc the tables are timed and there wasn't any table that time was expiring anytime soon. We put our name down anyway and walked back to the car to look up other places but to our surprise a table got up as soon as my friends walked off so the host ran and got me because I was still standing by the door and told us we could come sit down. We each ordered the same drinks but this time tried different foods. I ordered the crab Benedict because of the great reviews and yes it was good! It was my first time ever eating runny eggs and although I was hesitant I'm glad I went for it! The flavor was there. It was hot and fresh. The decorations inside the place is very chic and girly.
