Great brunch spot in Denver! We came on a Sunday and had such a great experience! We made reservations ahead of time and street parking was surprisingly easy to find. We were seated outside, which had such a cute, relaxed vibe and was perfect for catching up with my friend. We ordered the avocado toast and French toast and both were delicious and fulfilling! The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, making it a great savory option, while the French toast was sweet, satisfying, and the perfect brunch treat. We also got mimosas and a mimosa flight which were all tasty and made brunch even more fun!! read more

Decided to try Mimosas out based upon a few TikTok videos. The atmosphere was bright and the customer service was on point. They have a pretty decent happy hour menu. The beignets were good and sweet even without sauce. My friend and I split the breakfast skillet. It was good. The only thing is that it was greasy. So maybe the chicken sausage (or whatever was/is causing extra grease), could be cooked separately and then added in? The fried green tomatoes were really good as well. The mimosas were sweet and probably could have had a couple extra splashes of champagne in them. The overall experience was an 7.5/10 and I'd return. read more

A very fun menu and atmosphere but I wasn't completely impressed with the food. The dads eggs scramble was really good though. I will say you get a very large portion. Our server was a little awkward but nonetheless very nice. read more

Visited while in town & it did NOT disappoint! We sat in the rear outdoor area, which was heated but thankfully it was a nice day out. Our server Taylor was nice & attentive. Food was so tasty & filled me up to the brim! We shared beignets w/ chocolate & lemon curd (OMG good af). As a main dish, I had the fried chicken & pancake. It was mouthwatering good. read more

We met up for brunch on Fourth of July at mimosas. Our server was great! So nice and attentive. Bad with names but he's got a (great) mullet. For drinks we got the summer flight and all mimosas were great. My boyfriend loved the strawberry so he got an individual one as well. For food we got Steak and eggs, biscuits & gravy, and dad's eggs. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. But the drinks and vibes and hospitality and ambiance were nice. read more

This place is super cute on the inside and they have all day happy hour drink and food specials on Tuesdays! I love the concept of this restaurant, which is pretty much brunch all day. My friend and I both ordered dishes and drinks off of the happy hour menu, and it ended up being such a great value. I would absolutely recommend if you find yourself in the area. read more

My bf and I were in town visiting and heard great things about this restaurant for brunch! So happy that we decided to give it a try. Staff were all sweet and welcoming, the vibes were so much fun, the decor was awesome, and food delicious!! It's also in a very walkable area as well, which we loved! They had an area on the menu with a HH with great deals and prices! Food review: Mimosa flights: (3/5) Super strong! The grapefruit wasn't my favorite. The other flavors were tasty and strong! Gave me a good buzz. Haha Beignets: (4.5/5) These were delicious! Soft and airy with powdered sugar! Fried green tomatoes: (5/5) OMG. I was surprised how much I enjoyed these! The dipping sauce was delicious. Steak and eggs: (4/5) Love a simple breakfast. The steak was cooked perfectly and was good portion. Chicken and waffles: (4/5) These were pretty tasty, but portion and very filling. read more

My friend and I were visiting Denver and she suggested we try this place. It was easy to make a reservation (which is a good idea because it's not very big inside). I knew we were in for a treat when I asked the waiter what he recommended and most of the menu was on his list. I decided on the shrimp and grits which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you're super hungry you might like a side with it, but it was enough for me to be satisfied. I tried some of my friend's dad's eggs as well and they were delicious! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again. Something tells me the rest of the menu wouldn't disappoint. read more

This was such a great find! Not only is the name perfect but the inside is so adorably decorated. You walk in and instantly just saw cute! Ben's Mom loved it. I loved the different Mimosa options and of course I got the Coconut. Can't say I am have that flavor before. The menu had so many tasty options that it was difficult to choose but I ended up getting the berry French toast, which could be named something else, can't really remember. But man it was amazing. I am normally the person who never finishes her plate but aside with sharing a bite, I finished it clean. Ben was in shock but it was that good. When in Denver, I will definitely go back!! Was in town with some family to hangout and celebrate a couple of birthdays. Decided to stop in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was great! Very welcoming and inviting. The art in the restaurant turns head. This uniquely designed spot gives a nice vibe. The food came out fast and it was GOOD! The shrimp and grits with chicken sausage was amazing. I wasn't too fond of the portion size but I was warned by the waiter. For how good the shrimp and grits were I wanted more. The chicken was cooked to perfection! Waffle was good and soft inside with the crispy edges. I highly recommend trying this place if you're in or around downtown Denver. You will not be disappointed. read more

The food and drinks were great, but the service was atrocious. Our server forgot our water and coffee order and was MIA the entire time. I noticed the women next to us was also ghosted, someone apologized to her. Other servers came by to clear glassware. Our server finally appeared when we were almost done with our meal, only to tell us we were being handed off to someone (a bit too late for that). What made it worse, when I pointed out the missing orders, he made up an excuse and didn't apologize. Our area wasn't busy, there were eight empty areas. read more

Sheesh!!! I was not expecting this food to be this good. We were at Spangalang (GOOD VIBES) for some Sunday shenanigans and we ordered from Mimosas. I had heard mixed reviews but I am one to go and try for myself. THEY did not disappoint I ordered Dads Eggs (probably not the name) and it was so fire! Or as these kids say "Bussin" the waffle was fluffy, the eggs with the hot sauce (chefs kiss) Overall 10/10 recommend ! read more

Had breakfast here on a snowy Friday morning and it hit the spot. We didn't have a reservation and it was pretty busy around 10:30am so they said it would be about a 40 minute wait - yikes. We were about to go someplace else, but then the host offered the counter so our group of 4 sat there. Definitely make a reservation as the place is a bit on the smaller side and gets pretty busy. They've got a great menu, with some classics and some southern-inspired dishes. Our group ordered a round of mimosas and Bellinis to start which were good. I had the Welton omelet with a side of sourdough toast and it was delicious. One of the better omelets I've had (loved the roasted peppers). The potatoes were nice and crispy and seasoned well. My husband got the breakfast skillet and we shared a biscuit with gravy. I tried his meal and it was also really good. We ate every last bite. The gravy could have had a bit more flavor but it paired well with the crispy, salty biscuit. Prices are reasonable for Denver and the food is worth it. I'd absolutely come back. read more

Recently visited on a Saturday with reservation. Easy to make a reservation via OpenTable - we were running a few minutes behind and we called to change reservation and the team was accommodating. For a larger party we were seated in their covered patio area which was warm for the cooler season. The service and the drink and food orders were prompt and the team provided great food recommendations. I personally had the shrimp and grits and mimosa French toast and both were delicious. The shrimp and grits were blended so well and the cajun flavor was even throughout the dish. The patio area was packed with larger parties but we never had to wait for service or to be checked on. We could easily split the bill with their portal POS. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere and music for Saturday brunch. Paid street parking $$ (Also love that it is black owned!) read more

We had a fantastic first visit to Mimosas for Mother's Day breakfast. Our reservation was ready upon our arrival. The interior colorful interior provides a fun, lively, welcoming ambiance. Our server offered helpful suggestions when asked. Of course I ordered a mimosa - I chose the piña colada which was delicious and a nice change from standard mimosas with OJ. My husband and I both went for the chicken and waffles. That's a rare choice for me, but it was worth it! Super tasty and filling. Our friend who ordered the shrimp and grits loved it so much he licked his plate ;-) Mimosas is a great spot for breakfast/brunch when visiting downtown Denver! read more

This is a cute decorated restaurant. They have lemons and black art on the walls. The waiters are very friendly and nice. The food was mostly good. The Crab Benedict was very good and so were the mimosas. My husband's steak was over cooked but everything else was a ok. They do add an extra state fee and when you check out they add a 20% gratuity to your bill...make sure to check the pay screen and add your own tip before you check out or you could stay with the 20%. I would go back they have good food and drinks specials. read more

Cute and quaint breakfast place in Five Points. A bit crowded but really lovely. Great food and good service, I would recommend making a reservation on weekends because it can get busy. My friend is a vegetarian and found several options that worked for her, and they have a variety of alternative milks for lattes. The oat milk latte was surprisingly solid (I don't always expect a lot for somewhere known more for food!) We split an omelette, some French toast and some beignets. The beignets seemed a bit more dense than I'm used to (reminded me of a brioche donut) but very good! Loved the lemon dipping sauce. The omelette was great, but the French toast was 10/10 my favorite! The servers were attentive, but just enough. Overall I would definitely return. read more

The neighborhood is transitional, 10 minutes from CBD, but definitely a hot area for restaurants, coffee shops and art. Why is it called Mimosas? That's their speciality, and almost everyone there has one in hand. The breakfast is great, with perfectly poached eggs (hard to find). The interior was a cross between miami south beach and art deco, with several murals. Service was friendly and I kept getting asked about another one? I've added menus so you can gauge the variety of offerings. read more

Me and bestie took a trip to Five Points to go to Mimosa's a cute little brunch nestled on a busy area in downtown Denver. When we first got there I already knew the food was going to be smacking since the waiter told us that only seating available was the bar. It was super packed on Sunday right after church had let out. The artwork was very vibrant and the color choice on the wall decor was fun and whimsical. The food was amazing, I got a salmon lox on bagels. My bestie got some shots which were amazing. Our waitress provided great service, we were super impressed. read more

I took my nieces to Brunch to celebrate Mother's Day and one niece's Birthday. Had reservations for the patio and was worried about it raining! NO RAIN, but the patio was covered so it wouldn't have mattered. Decorated with lots of colorful flowers and tables. Good breeze flowing in the center. I ordered Shrimp and Grits - fantastic! The best I've ever had! Lot of big plump shrimp and sausage pieces were thrown in the gravy/sauce. Excellent flavor! The girls had tacos, pancakes, and egg casserole. All were yummy! The Mimosas were wonderful! The Peach Mimosa was a special price of just $5, the Margarita Mimosa was not too sweet. Will definitely return for more of this place . . . you need to try! read more

There was no wait for mimosas and at first we were going to sit in a booth but we asked to sit at a high table. The server was funny and cool. It was his first day and we were his third customers but he did good. (I wish I remembered his name). I got an order of fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and it was my man first time having them and he enjoyed them so much . He also ordered the sunshine mimosa which was lemonade, and champagne I ordered boujee which was rose, grapefruit juice, with a brown sugar rim. Then I also ordered a Bellini mimosa which was so good . They were so good and so strong. I ordered the Welton omelette without the ham I switched it for chicken sausage, and I had a side of potatoes with cheese grits. He ordered the Avocado Benedict with an order of chicken sausage and he loved it too. I took a bite and it was pretty good and I'm not usually a Benedict person. 10/10 Definitely Recommend read more

I went here for a friend's birthday, and while the experience wasn't bad, it definitely left me a little confused. This wasn't my first time visiting, so I pretty much knew what to expect, and the food and vibe did not disappoint. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and since the weather was perfect, we sat outside. The music was great, the decorations were super cute (perfect for photos later), and the food was honestly amazing. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly, and the beignets were delicious, though I do feel like there was a little too much powdered sugar on top because when I went to take a bite, I practically choked from accidentally inhaling it. Minor, but worth mentioning. Other than that, the food was flawless. The odd part came with the service. My sister and I arrived about 30 minutes after the rest of our party, so they had already been sitting with our server for a while. When he came over to introduce himself to us and take our drink orders, he seemed great... but then he never returned. A new server approached the whole table and let us know that our original server "wasn't feeling well" and had gone home, and that he would be taking over. That would've been totally understandable, except about 20 minutes later, we turned around and saw our original server still working. Folding silverware. Helping other tables. Very much not at home. It was confusing and honestly a little offensive, especially since the switch happened right when my sister and I arrived, before we had even interacted with him at all. Overall, the food and ambiance were great, but the random and unnecessary lie from the staff made the experience feel a bit odd. I'd still come back, but that part was definitely strange. read more

Solid experience at Mimosa. I just left brunch here and the vibe was 10/10. Loved the hip-hop music in the background along with great food. Beignets were 10/10 and went really nicely with both the chocolate sauce and the lemon sauce. Chicken and Waffles (7/10) was also good and I liked that the chicken was a thigh and had some great flavor. I also got a side buttermilk biscuit (5/10) which wasn't all that but decent. Lastly I ordered the side pancake (6.5/10) which was good but I felt kinda silly that it tasted just like the waffle in different form (same batter...joke is on me lol). I was only visiting Denver but would come back if I was in the area. I liked our waiter too he had a good sense of humor. read more

Don't be afraid to sit 'outside' - it's covered and heated. The food and service were great. Even the music was good but certain tables of people were obnoxiously loud for no apparent reason. Had brunch here after landing in Denver and loved the music and decor of the place. All the staff were incredibly nice. We got a couple of mimosas and 2 fruity pebble shots. My partner got the chicken and waffles and I got the shrimp and grits. The drinks were great. I wanted to love the shrimp and grits entirely but the saltiness of the dish overpowered a lot of the flavors. Also for the price point, the dish was small and I don't think justifiable so I would get something else. read more

No wait to be seated on a Sunday at 10:00 am. Mimosas is located in such a cute part of town. Once you enter you'll be greeted with pleasant staff and plentiful brunch vibes and decor. We were seated in the outdoor covered patio section which can accommodate a few dozen people. They were a little understaffed this day and it was obvious, but our server was as attentive as he could be and our coffee mugs were never empty. Now the important part - the menu! Mimosas will not disappoint even the pickiest in your group. The drinks are devine, especially the bloody mary. I would also recommend the mimosa flights. Most of our party of 4 had difficulty deciding between 2-3 options, so we all opted to share our meals family style. Our gym queen chose a high protein option. The Belgian waffle was fluffy and large enough that a quarter was enough to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. Everything was delicious and the portions were ample. We will be back! read more

After the holiday, my friend and I decided to venture to this hidden, unassuming brunch spot. As far as I could tell, there is only metered parking around the place. The restaurant does not give chance if you wanted to use the old fashion coin method for the meters. But fear not, the meters can be paid online. There was plenty of parking at the day and time we went. But as we were leaving there was a wait list to get inside. The interior is colorfully decorated and a fun hip place to brunch. The servers and hosted were kind and efficient especially given how busy the place was. My friend and I started with the Kokomo mimosa flight. These were not the typical mimosa flights that other restaurants serve. It came with Sunshine, a bright sweet and sour drink. Made with lemonade and champaign. This one resembled a delightful lemon drop drink and one of my favorites of the three. The next one was Pina Colada. This one had coconut rum, pineapple juice and champaign. Not really my cup of....mimosa. Not particularly a fan of coconut. It was topped with toasted coconut and a dehydrated pineapple. Lastly there was the Peach Bellini. This one was delicious. Peach puree and champaign creating the perfect way to start. The food was also good. I started with the Bourbon Maple Sticky Bun. It was okay as far as sticky buns go. The topping was a bit thick but otherwise not bad. Then I ordered Dad's Eggs minus the hot sauce preparation. It came with heavenly scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese creating a lovely melody. With perfectly seasoned and cooked homestyle potatoes and waffles. The waffles could have been cooked a little longer. They were a bit soft and doughy. Overall I would highly recommend this place. read more
