The fried green tomatoes are southern gal approved. I think next time I'd order them without the pesto because they are SO good on their own. The sticky buns are a great shareable for the table. The only negative was the 'power scramble'. It was not it. They grate the sauage up in the plate and it makes for a very gritty taste? Bleh. Visited Mimosa on a Thursday morning. It was moderately busy, however I was able to get a table without a reservation. The restaurant is small but the decor is amazing and contributes to a artsy urban environment. Of course I started right away with a cranberry mimosa which was very standard. Also ordered the cinnamon buns which I was not a fan of. They were not hot and soft like I imagined, they honestly tasted like they were a day old and had been popped in the microwave for a minute. For entrees I ordered Dad's Eggs, the Shrimp and Grits, Crab Cake Benedict and the Mimosa French Toast. Overall all of the entrees were tasty, with he French Toast being the best. The shrimp and grites were delicious but a little over seasoned, as were the home style potatoes. The crab cake Benedict was unique as it came on silver dollar pancakes instead of English muffins. I was greeted immediately upon entering. The staff was quick and orderly with checking on me and getting my order out to me right away. The location appeared pretty open with seating as soon as you enter the door. There is lovely art plastered all throughout the establishment to enjoy. I ordered the boujee mimosa and the chicken and waffles sandwich. The sandwich does come with eggs but I opted to have them on the side instead. This order also comes with a side of potatoes. A restaurant after my own heart! We came here around 10:30ish on a Saturday during Taylor Swift weekend and were able to be seated on their patio space right away. It was perfectly shaded and there were misters throughout the patio space keeping everyone cool. When we were walked to the back patio area, we walked through where all of the servers were working, and every single one greeted us - it made us feel so welcomed. They have mimosa flights here! Oh my goodness, and so many different mimosa options. We tried the Savage flight which had their Classy, Boujee, and Ratchet mimosas. Classy was your standard OJ + champagne and an orange zest rim, Boujee had sparkling rose and grapfruit juice with a brown sugar rim, and Ratchet had cognac, champagne, and OJ. We also tried the Kokomo flight with their Sunshine, Pina Colada and Bellini. The Bellini was my favorite with peach puree and champagne. The brown sugar and orange zest rims on the Classy and Boujee were so delicious! The food here was equally delicious! I got the vegetarian skillet hash and it was packed with flavor. Delicious! Very much enjoyed my experience. I went in on a Saturday morning and was by myself so I was sat very quickly. It was kind of loud but I was at the front of the restaurant near the entrance. Service was prompt and came and got my order. They were knowledgeable and told me about the mimosa flights. I picked the savage flight (my favorite was the ratchet with Hennessy). I ordered the drop biscuits to start. They were unremarkable and cold. I made this comment to my waiter and they were removed from the bill. This place is a vibe! For my history buffs and those who want to support minority owned businesses, it is black owned and has the history displayed for customers to read out front. It's not very large. There's a nice, tented patio. Under the tent, midst is periodically sprayed to keep patrons cool. The tent doesn't cover the entire patio space. The tables not under the tent have umbrellas. From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly. We were shown to our table and greeted by other employees along the way. As is the case with many restaurants post pandemic, there is a QR code on the table to access the menu. As the name suggests, there are many different mimosa options. There are also several coffee/espresso based drink options and a few cocktail options. There are also three types of mimosa flights. I selected the Kiss of passion. Yummy!! The only thing I found odd is that all mimosas came with sugar rims. I've never experienced this in other places. While a cute decorative touch, it's unnecessary. It also makes the already sweet drink overly so. The menu had many options. Our table split an order of beignets. The were served with a chocolate and a lemon sauce. They came cover with powdered sugar. Though tasty, they were much too sweet due to the excessive amount of powdered sugar. There were a few items I wanted to try, but opted for the crab florentine benedict. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes. The flavors were good, but there was very little lump crab meat in my order. We were there celebrating my friend's birthday. They brought out a mini mimosa with a candle and sang. Dad's breakfast is the bee's knees. I enjoyed their waffle presentation--broken down instead of whole. More importantly I discovered that I prefer Belgian waffles with a bit of a crunch. It pairs well with a healthy bit of syrup! The dish's scrambled eggs were also perfectly mixed with their sauce and sausage. Homemade potatoes were well-seasoned and cooked nicely. 3/21/2026 I had made a reservation for my fiancé and her girls for brunch and a good time. The restaurant, food and drinks were all superb, but one thing that stood out was the service (waitress). Delia felt off from the jump, we don't know if she was having a bad day but she was making things more difficult then they had to be. Telling my girls that they had to have everything on one bill, not very attentive with drinks like water. Everyone else that my girls interacted with were fantastic and very enjoyable to be around. Once she brought out the flights She had no idea which one was which, we had two girls who were allergic to peach and mango and the fact she didn't know which one had what was a little concerning. We did order the mimosa tower, which is huge and it does take time to drink, about an hour and 15 minutes into our meal, we all noticed our waiter kept walking past us and looking at his watch (like 4-5 times within a 20 minute period) like he was trying to get us out of there. We definitely felt rushed. The only time he seemed happy was when he was having us pay our bill. Never got his name( our mistake for not getting his name, and talking to management before we left), but he had some blue shirt with bananas on it. I'm sure it would've been a better first experience had we not had him as our waiter. All of us girls having food and beverage experience agreed that he's in the wrong business and should not be in customer service waiting on people. Management should reevaluate having this person in the front of the house waiting on tables as they might lose more customers. Would not recommend this place as you would be taking the gamble and getting this waiter, who obviously does not enjoy his job. Cute little brunch place with awesome food! It was quite packed for a Friday afternoon but we were seated right away. I got the beignets with lemon curd because it was so highly talked about by everyone and it did not disappoint. They were fresh out the fryer, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The lemon curd gave a nice tartness to them. I also got the brisket hash which was just alright. I thought there would be more vegetables since it mentioned that there were roasted red peppers, but the bowl ended up being mostly potatoes which I got tired of really quick. A friend is big into plants and cocktails so we were planning to go to the Marigold but realized they weren't open until early afternoon and it would be good to get some food to pad the belly. Also, make sure you make reservations, as this place gets very busy on Saturdays and Sundays. However, they do have a few window bar seats and high-top tables available for walk-ins. Regular table seating is strictly for reservations. The service is on-point and can be slow at times, but that's how busy places tend to be. Nonetheless, the staff is very professional and genuinely caring. I do like the inside, but the bar seats and high-top seats can wobble. As the restaurant's name infers, they focus on Mimosas and other spiked caffeinated concoctions. If you can't choose, go for the mimosa flight. Coming here, mimosas are a must try. The food is very good, pretty mainstream as far as breakfast choices. I had the Fried Chicken and Waffles my first time and it was delicious, but the waffle was on the dry side. Had Brunch here with some friends, I ordered the avocado toast and the savage Mamosa flight. The champagne vinaigrette used on the toast is really what brought out the flavors and made it special, but one thing I think we all agreed on was that the homestyle potatoes were some kind of wonderful special perfection!
