Hippy Hash (sweet potato with veggies, 2 eggs, siracha!)

Great place for breakfast, lunch or brunch! Wide variety of sweet and savory classics - pancakes, omelets, Benedicts. My fave = hippy hash! Quick service, kind staff, fun atmosphere.

The decor and interior are fun and modern. Food is large portions. Food is nothing out of the ordinary. The pancake was very thick for my liking, but had a good flavor. I felt it was expensive, but would recommend sharing to get a better deal if cost is a concern. I also ordered a cappuccino, which was good. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday morning as expected, and the staff was very busy. It was a bit of a wait for food and drink, but I think considering how busy it was they did a fantastic job.

Always good food but they changed the waffle On the chicken and waffles and it's been so disappointing :(

Came here straight from my flight into Denver while waiting to check in, they give heavy portions and the service was remarkable!!!! Also the food was wonderful.....

I've been here a couple times and both times the service was great. The first time, I got the egg sandwich (Colfax'wich) that was filling. This time, I got the mini hot cake trio, a side of 2 eggs, and side of hashbrowns to split. It was more than enough for 2 since we had the sides. Their hash browns are the shredded kind. The mini hot cakes - one was a caramel apple with granola which was my favorite one. There was a blueberry one with candied pecans which was also good. The 3rd was a chocolate salted caramel. That was a good dessert style pancake. They were mostly sweet so I didn't even use my syrup. Lots of toppings. This is a really fun place with good food!

Such a cute brunch spot, in a nice area! Service was alright, nothing to rave about. They forgot my hash browns, but that was okay because the burrito was very filling. Lots of great flavors, latte was really good too. Will definitely come back!

Ok! Let me start off with DAYUM! This place was freaking delicious haha. Chicken and waffles Sea salt chocolate chip pancake Chilaquiles Nothing terrible to say about the food cuz everything we got was just soooooo good! Let's talk about Jeanie our waitress , what a sweetheart ... she was just out of this world amazing ... love the location it's in the inside is so cool and different ...because of the demand , they borrow the location next door to seat more people ... The Michelada I had was not that good , I personally wasn't a fan of their mix. But that did not take away anything in how freaking great everything was !! YES I will be coming back !! TIP: this place is always packed !! Plan on waiting 30-60 min wait , WORTH IT !

Service was a bit slow, sorry to lead with that but it was slow. Once we got the food, it was excellent. My wife wants to learn how to make the dish she was served. Decor and music are cool

Hashtag is the first place that comes to mind when someone asks me for a brunch spot recommendation. The location is ideal, there is an ice cream spot outside, what more could you ask for? The menu really does have something for everyone. Their avocado and salmon toast are delicious and my usual orders. This time I tried the Wake and Bake Skillet and I thought the portion was ideal and I loved the amount of veggies in here.

Went for the first time on a recent Friday morning! Place was probably 75% full which was a good sign. The inside has cute decorations but is fairly noisy and could use some better sound absorption. They also have a couple large steps in the seating area which could be dangerous if not paying attention. Service was a bit slow as they seemed to only have one waitress for a lot of people. Food came relatively quick once ordered and was all very fresh. Had the pork shoulder hash which had great flavors and a large portion. It was spicier than I would have liked and wished the menu had said so though. Overall some unique food options and a lot of potential so might have to give it another try in the future.

    Big Cast Iron Cinnamon Roll

I wanted to really enjoy this place but the hype is overdone here. Location is prime for a brunch spot without having to go downtown, and parking isn't too bad sharing with Kingsoopers and other shops. Menu is inclusive for GF. Unfortunately, everything was just okay for the food, service we received, and our dining experience. The music in the restaurant was way too loud, making everyone have to speak loudly to have conversations, thus making it louder. Our waitress couldn't even hear us and messed up a couple of our orders. We had a reservation and ordered immediately when we sat (knew what we wanted before getting there) and the espresso martini took 20 minutes to get to the table. We asked the waitress how "big" the "big cinnamon roll" was and if it could feed all 4 of us and she said yes. It was not "big" and of course we could share it only as quartered. The roll itself was pretty dry and tasted stale. Majority of our food was pretty spicy, without it being clear on the menu. If you can't handle spice very well, I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side. We also asked for bacon on the side, and the smoked salmon on the side but they ended up just mixing it into our individual plates.

    Mini Hot Cake Trio

Stopped here for a pre-birthday lunch and was BLOWN AWAY by the size of their portions!! The cinnamon roll was absolutely killer and was more than enough for 2 people to split. Also the pancakes were probably the biggest things I've ever scene! Nearly the size of a pizza! Overall the food was delicious, but the 'large' POG we got was the exact size as our small coffee, which we paid extra for, and they charged us a weird fee for splitting :( it was quite expensive in the end and think they need to adjust their prices and not be so insane when it comes to pricing. You'll be full eating here but your wallet will be skinny...

    Trio Pancakes

Delicious pancakes and hash browns! The service was good, but they nickeled and dimed us for everything. I went with my fiancé and we ordered the cinnamon roll skillet meant for two people (literally said meant to share), a side of eggs with cheese, a side of hash browns, the trio pancakes, a vanilla latte, a drip coffee, and a large juice. This was PLENTY of food for two people, but they added a split fee at the end (and did not tell us that there was a split fee when we ordered). It wasn't a large fee (maybe $2), but it was the fact that we didn't purchase one meal and split it. We ordered a lot and shared. They also charged us for adding cheese in the eggs, vanilla in the latte, and the large juice was an upcharge but it was in the same size cup as my normal latte. None of these things are a deal breaker, just a little weird/annoying. The food was yummy, the outside seating was lovely, and the service was good overall.

Do you have patio seating with dogs?

Hello! yes we do have dog friendly patio seating! We open it up depending on weather as it is uncovered.

Do you take reservations ? Looking to accommodate a brunch for 10-12 people for Saturday, August 5th around 1100. Celebrating a retirement for a friend. Thanks!

I believe they do. The first time we went my husband made a reservation.

Do you have a keto menu? Or can accommodate to this diet?

Hi Ashley! We're happy to accommodate all dietary restrictions. You're welcome to call the restaurant or talk to your server for specific recommendations.

Well, I have visited this restaurant 3 times. All 3 times have been for a holiday brunch or…read moredinner. Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

During the last few Denver Restaurant Week events, I've tried to take the offerings as an…read moreopportunity to sample restaurants that I haven't tried, or otherwise may not try, and see if I can add to my list of favorites. I saw Former Saint on CBS News, and the menu and food looked incredible. In particular, that white chocolate blueberry cheesecake was something I know my hubby would look forward to all week! I loved the idea of local food and fresh homemade dishes. Sounds healthy, after a week of potential over-indulgence at other restaurant week venues. An additional bonus was that it is located right near the Denver Convention Center and the Performing Arts Center. This has become a dry spot for fine dining, with even the choices on Larimer Square growing more thin, giving rise to the inability to get reservations at favorites like Tamayo and Rioja prior to a show. I go to performances frequently with friends, and despite my rule to avoid hotel restaurants (Former Saint is in the Hyatt Regency), I thought I'd scope out Former Saint as a place to take my friends before the next symphony or Children's Chorale or ballet or broadway performance. I must say, the jury is still out. Former Saint was a Jekyll and Hyde of courses. Parking was not difficult (Yay, maybe I can park here prior to my shows, if I grab a bite first). There is a large garage, and the promise of validation from the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is typical hotel restaurant. Booths, tables, old and a bit drab. Except for the bar. Oh, my! The bar has this BEAUTIFUL copper creation above it, adding so much industrial character to the space! I was in awe looking at it, as it appeared to bring craft suds to the bartender's taps. I didn't ask how it worked, as it wasn't clear how the beer separation and dispensing worked, but it was a great centerpiece and spectacle for the place. I do wish I had investigated more about this architectural marvel, and will do so if I return. For restaurant week, my husband chose the Lobster Ravioli, Ribeye, and blueberry cheesecake (as predicted). I chose the Gotham salad, roasted chicken, and key lime tart. The lobster ravioli was nice; my husband was surprised that it was a toasted ravioli, but enjoyed it. My salad was full of beautiful greens, pears, walnuts, and feta. No scrimping here! The dressing was light and sweet/sour. The pears were a bit unripe and crisp, to the point that I was having trouble identifying exactly what fruit I was eating, but other than that, the salad was beautiful, healthy, and ample. My husband's ribeye steak was a nice cut, done to his liking. Slivered hash browns were underneath with a nice green chimichurri on top and some sliced Fresnos adding a welcome kick to the dish. My chicken was delightful. 1/2 chicken on the bone, seasoned nicely, and with a pan sauce. The breast was super-tender and delicious. It came atop cheesy grits, which was a yummy substitute for a mashed potato. I also was served side salad of curly lettuce and fennel. I probably didn't need more salad, but I was glad to have the healthy side on my plate. I will say that this salad was over-seasoned. The chicken and grits were great, but the salad too salty. My husband ordered a glass of J. Lohr Cabernet, which was a very nice find on the wine list, as far as a pairing for his ribeye. That said, the glass cost $30! A bit much, I might say. The real detractor, unfortunately, was dessert. The blueberry cheesecake looked nothing like the beautiful creamy white cheesecake accented throughout by purple blueberries, which I saw on the CBS News clip. My husband was served a very small solid purple slice, overcome with whipped cream dollops. This cheesecake had been uncovered in the fridge too long, with sort of a skin on it. My husband ate almost none of it. My key lime tart was similarly over-adorned with whipped cream, although I had some nice raspberries on top. The tart also seemed overexposed to the cool air, with the thickening of a skin on top. It was a very disappointing way to end a nice meal, and belied the healthy, homemade, craft theme. High points of this experience include the well-crafted and healthy entrees, the fact that we could see the convention center right outside our window (i.e., the location is perfect for pre-event or -theater), the $3.00 validated parking fee, and that beautiful copper tap system. Will the pros outweigh the cons? Will we be back with friends? Time will tell.
