Unfortunately the breakfast was a miss for both my friend and me. I ordered the Berkley Benedict, which sounded like it would be rich, cheesy, garlicky, and full of flavor. But everything tasted surprisingly bland. The garlic rosemary sauce, the gravy, and even the hollandaise all tasted very similar, so nothing really stood out. My friend ordered one of the hashes and had the same experience. Even though the dishes were different, everything seemed to have the same muted flavor regardless of the sauce or ingredients. That said, I wouldn't completely write this place off. There were several items on the dinner menu that looked really good, so I'd be open to coming back to give dinner a try. This place is great! First place I hit up after landing in Denver for the first time and it did not disappoint. I really liked my burrito, the chilli verde was spicy just how I like it. My husband got the chicken waffles and although I would never typically get that, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the combination was especially with the hot chicken! The first thing we noticed and loved was the differing glassware, as it really emphasized that true diner vibe. Our server was very pleasant. I met a friend for lunch at Cozy Cottage in mid-December, 2025. I left a 20% tip on the bill, writing in the amount and signing the receipt. Several days later, I received a credit card update that my charge went through and a 60% tip had been added. The tip cost was more than half the cost of my meal. I took this up with the restaurant, sending a request to fix it both through their website, two direct emails to management, and via phone call. The person I talked with at the restaurant said there was no manager there who could help me. No one responded to any of my emails or the contact form I submitted. If you decide to go to Cozy Cottage, I recommend saving your receipt and checking your credit card statement soon after. I won't be going there again. read more

My three girlfriends and I all ordered veggie hash. Mine came with pork, which was obvious right off, so it was returned and replaced with what I had ordered after about 15 minutes. Then one of my friends noticed that there was pork in hers too, she hadn't noticed it because she hadn't eaten that much of it and so we told the server, but said that she didn't need to replace it because my friend would just eat around the pork. When our bill came, and I have this receipt, there was no deduction, nothing was taken off the bill. We asked our server about it and after about 10 minutes she came back and said the manager would not take one of the orders off. We asked to speak to the manager, who would not come to our table, and did finally agree to take 10% off. Obviously , we will never go back there. This was in May of this year. read more

We waited for a bit for them to figure it out and we ended up getting the table we wanted outside. Small hiccup but it worked out. We tried a variety of entrees such as the tuna avocado, huevos rancheros, club sandwich, and the fruit split. they all were really good. We were all very pleased with our choices. On the other hand our aperol spritz were lacking same with the mimosas. No ice was even served with the aperol. We stopped by here after trying to get into another restaurant but having to wait too long. Even on a busy Saturday afternoon, we were able to get seated in less than 15 minutes. Our waitress was very kind and provided great service. I got the BlueBird Benedict, and wow the asparagus sauce that they used was amazing! Pigs in a blanket is three sausages wrapped in their buttermilk pancakes dusted with powdered sugar and a side of maple syrup! I swapped the eggs for potatoes. The pancakes were so fluffy! Very delicious! The sausage was your standard size so I thought it was a little too small for the large pancake but over it was a good sweet and savory flavor! The potatoes were delicious too! My boyfriend got the protein meal. Eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham! He added a side of white toast. He said it was very filling and satisfying! I thought it looked good!
