Definitely one of my favorite places (if not my favourite) for breakfast or brunch. Delicious food and ambiance , great service with friendly staff. Another bonus is the rewards app (local toast) ! Hats down for this place! I totally recommend it !

This place is a really solid brunch spot! It was fairly priced and the food came out unbelievably fast. Literally I think it came out in less than 10 minutes. I got an Irish coffee that was soooo good for a little boozy Sunday morning. The sandwich was just okay, the pretzel roll was like over toasted or stale? I'm not sure. But the sauce, eggs and sausage were delicious! Ended up eating with a fork! The breakfast tacos were amazing!!!! The onion-y pico at the bottom really hit! The pancake was perfect. Not gonna lie, best pancake I've had in a while. Yum. Will be back!!!

Honestly a great breakfast spot. Excellent breakfast classics plus some novel takes, great service, nice vibes, and the Edgewater location is great. Will be back!

Service from Amanda, the manager, was fantastic. My pup and I appreciated her seating us in a shady spot with a water bowl. New waiter Marc was learning the finer details of the art of service, but is a quick study. Bread for French toast was chewier than expected, leading me to speculate it was less than fresh, but the coconut flavor was so scrumptious that I forgot I needed a knife to saw through the toast. Really need MORE Shaded Outdoor Seating!

If you're around the Sloan's Lake area, this is a decent spot for brunch. It can get busy because everyone is trying to come here but the wait wasn't too bad. In terms of food, it was a pretty good brunch. The food was edible and the portions were nice. The beignets were a nice little appetizer with the sauce to drizzle over them. Pancakes were pretty good. Nothing was a huge standout where I'm like must come again. But overall, it's a good little brunch place where you don't have to wait over an hour for.

We sat outside in the sun it was perfect for a sunny day in March! Walked in on a Saturday at 10am with a party of 7 and were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and nice. Food came out insanely fast. Huevos rancheros were delicious. The breakfast potatoes were the best, seasoned perfectly and crispy yet at the same time soft. My friend and I split the carafe of lavender lemonade mimosa. Very subtle lavender taste, it was very nice. Did not taste any lemon or lemonade. Delicious though!

This is our favorite brunch spot in the Edgewater area. It's clean, the service is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I particularly love their chilaquiles with chorizo. They have the perfect balance of tortillas, eggs, cheese, and veggies. During my visit, they accidentally forgot to add the avocado, but the waitress was incredibly kind and offered it to me. If you're in the area, you absolutely must visit this place!

The cash I'm gonna tip with cause I've heard servers like cash.

This brunch spot is pretty ok on food. Eaten at this one and a few other spots of theirs. Usually pretty ok. Walked up today, restaurant's 1/4 full. 25%. Had to wait for the last person of our party to show up. So I went to Rupert's. 50% full. Sat us while we waited for our last person. 25+ years of restaurant experience here. Never seen a host hold a rule so hard and lose a tip faster for someone in years. Cool rule Syrup. Nice training on that host. Makes sense why you're sitting at 20-25% on a Saturday Snow day and Rupert's is doubling you. Solid moves. Wonder if I'll make it back? Hmmm. I wonder. Improve your training. No Mames.

We have been here a few times and the prior visits were more friendly. When we walked it, it was like a silent movie. We approached the hostesses both acknowledged us visually without a single utter of anything. She found a table in her book and the other walked away as if we an understanding to follow him. Perplexed, we stood there until he stopped, looked at us and made some indescribable sound. Assuming he was showing us to our table, we followed. This is by no means an exaggeration of the exchange. Once we were seated things improved. I ordered the Pigs in the Blanket, which I enjoyed thoroughly. My wife ordered her typically, French Toast, on this occasion the coconut version. She also liked hers but the coconut syrup was scanty for the amount of French Toast. I really love the restaurant with its high ceilings, brightness filled by sunlight and their amazing patio. I'm hoping they improve on the service slightly, especially the hostess as that is the first person one interacts with.

First off - its great that they allow you to do a split order in case you are between a few things. 2nd off - this app was bomb. Both were fried to perfection & perfectly spiced. The fried okra was actually our fave item. Entrees: Fried chicken: Their fried chicken is so solid. Like their fried apps - they know what they are doing. Juicy on the inside crispy on the outside. Can't go wrong here. Meatloaf: Overall solid and wrapped in bacon. Nothing to blow you away but still quite tasty. Sides: I love me some good sides, and they had a few here. Most entrees came with 2 you could choose from which I loved. Some standouts were collared greens and french fries. No frills just solid comfort food. Vibe: Chill bar vibes with TVs. Service was friendly and quick. Pricing was reasonable and portions were large. Would I come back: Yes! Great spot to hang out with friends and grab a bite!

But man, this place needs a bit of a vibe check, particularly the bar area. The potential is there - great cozy space, friendly bartenders and servers, yummy food + drinks. But the piano music and cooking shows on the TVs ain't it. We would have stayed longer and bought more drinks but it felt like the atmosphere was targeted to the 70+ crowd and we were falling asleep. If they were to turn on some bluegrass or folk music and have sports on the tv (or really anything else) we'd be there every weekend. Even just in the bar - if the want the rest of the place to read more "sophisticated" then I get it. It's a great neighborhood spot but possibly due for a revamp.

The Mushroom aranchini appetizer was tasty, and our cocktails (LemonBerry Rose and Moscow Mule) were boozy and delightful. We ordered dinner (Rigatoni Bolognese and Grilled Pork Chop - medium) which soon arrived. My wife's meal arrived cooked to perfection - she was happy! However, my pork chop was delivered very Well Done and basically inedible. I tried to find a tender piece or two of the chop around the edges and along the bone to no avail. It was cooked until no moisture was left. I ate what I could of the mashed potatoes and veggies, but my disappointment in the entree was firm. Our server came by to check on us after 20 minutes or so, and expressed my disappointment in the pork chop. She apologized and said that she would inform the chef of the situation. I was facing the open kitchen, and never saw her talk to the chef. After another 20 minutes or so, she brought our check without any mention of my concern. I then watched her engage in two 5+ minute discussions with other diners. The bus-person stopped by and delivered a box for the Bolognese). We waited another 5+ minutes before our server picked up and processed the check. She finally returned the processed check, and said "Goodnight, Sorry about the Pork Chop". I checked the bill and saw that she had comped one of our cocktails ($13)... So my inedible $30 Pork Chop is supposed to be offset by less than a 50% discount?!? In my mind, she should have followed through by talking to the Chef. He then could have come by the table to apologize and perhaps offer some sort of compensation. Instead, the server decided that a $13 discount would suffice, and that we would be back despite the experience. I can with certainty say that my wife and I will not be back. I'm guessing that this was either a case of an inexperienced server, or a failure of training in how to accommodate diners in a fine(r) restaurant.

A great option for young families on a warmer day…read more I stopped by Edgewater Beer Garden with some friends with the intention of enjoying a seemingly warmer Denver winter day, and we had no trouble finding seating on the patio. Maybe we were just brave, but with blankets and the outdoor heaters the space served well for a small get together. The inside, however, was PACKED. Was it something in the air that influenced every young family West of Denver to crave local brews and fried food options? Or is this just the typical crowd for this establishment? Either way, I don't believe myself to be the target market for this location. After a few hours, the children's birthday party and other large family gatherings occupying the warm interiors finally disappeared, and we were able to enjoy all the splendors of their heated former firehouse. The staff who was wandering the facilities to take empty trays and glasses from tables were exceptionally nice, the food options were as plentiful as the variety on tap, and the patio's ambience was exactly what we needed. Ticked all the boxes you'd expect of a suburban beer hall. Overall, not really my scene, as I don't have a golden doodle or a curious toddler, but if that sounds like an apt description for the company you keep, you'll enjoy this spot immensely.

Booths and tables are available as well as bar/counter seating. When we arrived which was just after 8 plenty of seating was available but by the time we left at 9 searing was limited. There were only 2 servers so they were busy and were doing the best they could to accommodate and provide good service to all the guests. My wife enjoyed her club which had thick cuts of ham and plenty of fries. My country fried steak was honestly one of the the best I've had the portion was large and the batter was flaky and tasty. The hashbrowns could have been better but the rest of the meal made up for it. The pancakes were delicious and they were not stingy with the butter which spread nice and even instead of being frozen and spread in clumps like a lot of places will give you frozen butter packs. Thier hours are limited and I do believe they are only open until 3. Just a tip you have to enter off of the north side of Colfax as they have new construction and there are medians now.
