Back a year later for our Halloween tradition of visiting this gem of a bar. Things are still absolutely amazing here. Bartenders have killer customer service. The drinks are truly art. The vibes are immaculate. The decor is so festive. It's so cozy aka small but this place just doesn't miss. 10/10

The Electric Cure is a fun bar with tiki vibes with a metal style. It was a 90's theme night so all the drinks had interesting 90's related names. Each drink arrived with a 90's reference card from Rugrats and Doug to Dinosaurs. The tiki drinks were ok but, some has a very synthetic taste. I thought it was great that many of the drinks could be ordered as NA. There are only a few bars and restaurants on the same street so, it is a quaint neighborhood street.

Super cool venue that had a Krampus themed pop-up during the holiday season. They really went all out with the decor. It was clever and fun! The menu was also themed to fit the decor. I had a Nightmare on Elf Street which was a warm holiday cocktail. The chai masala and gingerbread rum were delicious together. The Jingle Bell Rock Bottom was surprisingly delightful and I enjoyed how nicely the sesame oil made this drink stand out. All drinks were served in Christmas themed cups and my group and I appreciated the details. The bartenders really made these drinks stand out with a little fire. The service was great and this was a perfect meet up to celebrate the holiday festivities with a comedic twist.

This tiki bar is hilarious. Every time I venture in, they are up to some shenanigans . This summer, Electric Cure is celebrating the 90s. The commitment to a theme this Satanic Tiki bar does every time is 100/10. For the 90s theme, I tried the "Hold On To Your Diapies, Babies" and the "You're A Virgin Who Can't Drive" (comes with a slap bracelet) drinks. Rugrats and Clueless- the quintessential 90s! Electric Cure is a great place to hang out and admire all the details of the decor. You will leave laughing- just like Patrick Bateman does in their prominently displayed photo!

The drinks were tasty and so much fun. Not to mention the drinks with fire. Also, the decor is so irreverent.

I was in town and wanted a pina colada so I stopped by here with a friend. The theme constantly changes and so do the drink names. If you see a drink you like, it might not be on the new menu when it changes. When I was here, I also had to order at the bar even though we were sitting at a table so we just ended up sitting at the bar anyways. There's auto gratuity even for a group of 2. I like the way they decorate for each theme. The music can be pretty loud so if you're conversing, just make sure to speak up or be prepared. I'm giving this place 3 stars because I would have liked someone to come to the table to take my order. There was also a friendly bartender and the other one wasn't so friendly. The drinks are good but a little expensive.

Wow!!! What an amazing fun bar! The bartender was super nice and recommended great cocktails! I loved the grimace shake and the altar boy blues drink was yummy too! The bar changes themes currently it's satanic it'll change to summer theme soon. Very cool vibe! Unfortunately when I went their fire license had been revoked but I'm sure it'll be back soon and I will too for the fire show!

What a cool spot recommended by a local, I heard that we were there on Emo night or maybe that's every night, not sure. Lol unfortunately there was no drag show when we were there but still had a great time! The bartenders were very welcoming and outgoing. This cozy spot is overflowing with yummy drinks, Cool people, and funky decor! I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again!!!

The hubs and I came with friends and this is an awesome bar. First the drink names themselves are works of art. They were so much fun to read through and then order. The service was a little confusing because we had table side service initially but then ordered at the bar. No biggie once we figured the system out. All of our drinks were top notch and we all agreed this would be a revisit. The music is played really loud so it's more a chill out and drink vibe versus convo vibe.

The Electric Cure is always a good time if you are open to their humor - a bit of Satan, with a mix of Seinfeld, and some NSFW souvenirs with their cocktails. We stopped by and were pleased to see their holiday theme was The Krampus Room - a half goat/half demon monster that punishes misbehaving children at Christmas. We ordered the shareable "Feliz Navi-Dad Went Out For A Cigarette and Never Came Home" because Daddy issues always come up around this time. This was served in a giant elf boot and had a cigar shaped sparkler that was lit on fire. It was also adorned with two dancing skeletons in Santa hats. The burn of tequila and clove liqueur was tempered with apple cider, maple, and cinnamon. The place was packed with plenty of people willing to be on Santa's naughty list.

This bar is a mix of tiki, punk rock, and college bar. It's not the nicest, cleanest place...so managing expectations is key. They have an extensive specialty cocktail and matching mocktail menu which is super cool. True to tiki form, they are on the sweeter side, but I was pleasantly surprised that the cocktails weren't sickly sweet. My first drink came with a long hair sticking out of the top so I removed it and didn't complain since the bartenders hair looked freshly washed. We came around 9pm Sunday and there was plenty of free parking right in front. The menu says 20% gratuity included but they add the 20% on top of the menu price so that is misworded and misleading.

The skinny: Unique amazing tiki drinks - one of our favorite bars in Denver! First off this place is kitschy, wild, eclectic, and crazy all in the best ways. My fiance is, a huge Tiki fan and this place has some absolutely solid tiki drinks. My overall favorite is Passion of the Christ - their take on a Pain Killer. Get it if you're looking for something coconut creamy with a kick of pineapple without being overly sweet. If you're there with a group and looking for something fun, check out Satan's Satanic Satanists - it comes in a gigantic skull and is a shared bowl for multiple people. All the drinks come with a fun name, glass, and garnishes. Perfectly concocted liquid heaven. There are a few drinks that come with fire as well for that extra Insta worthy video. Note that this is a fairly small place. Service is friendly - but its one of those bars where the drinks take time. So be prepared to be patient. Especially on a weekend. It gets fairly packed and may be hard to find a spot to sit down. If you don't mind crowds, come on a weekend. They have crazy rituals every hour in the evening that is super fun and unique. While we were there, they had all the bartenders participate in a 'satanic' ritual feeding a person with a goat head with pretzel thins. The overall vibes of this place are super unique and fun. Decor and ambiance is really cool - and changes a lot of the different holidays! You can also bring food in, or order and have it delivered. Would I come here again? Yes! and have multiple times. If you like this - check out their sister restaurant in downtown - Hell or High Water (gay pirate themed)

The chicken plate was the smallest piece of dry, overcooked chicken breast, wayyyy too much rice, 2 sad and dry rings of pineapple (honestly, out of the can would have been way better), and an undressed slaw. it was $23 and even at $15, it would still have been overpriced. The spam musubi was decent but honestly, I can't imagine how you could mess it up. We may come back for the drinks but we absolutely will not order any food.

Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he immediately told both of us to leave the bar. This was an incredibly uncomfortable situation to deal with, especially on New Year's Eve, and it left us feeling embarrassed and disrespected. The first thing my girlfriend said to me the next morning was how uncomfortable that bartender had made her feel, which says a lot. I truly wish we had never gone to this bar. I went searching for a non chain bar or restaurant to support and was shocked to see that Lakewood CO of all places had a local distillery and just had to try it. It honestly exceeded my expectations as I originally planned on coming in for one drink but left after trying 3 because it was so good. My first drink was the Coffee, God and Cigarettes. This drink offered a well-balanced blend of bitter and sweet notes, both light and flavorful. The tobacco finish is present but not overpowering, making for a very enjoyable overall experience. The 2nd drink I got was the old fashioned.... Which was made with both whiskey and rum in it which left me a bit nervous to actually order it. But don't let the rum fool you, this is a classic-tasting delicious Old Fashioned. Ironically, the rum has more traditional whiskey character than their white whiskey (which tastes like scotch). If you like Old Fashioneds, you'll find this version delicious. I finished with the Serrano Cucumber Gimlet. It features a fresh cucumber essence and a well-balanced, subtle heat. A unique and excellent twist on the classic. All the in house spirits were great, Cameron the bartender on shift was able to answer any and all questions I had, the drinks were great and the atmosphere was wonderful. I'd definitely recommend giving this Lakewood distillery a shot
