I love that Side Pony has coffee and cocktails. It's a great place to do a little work but also meet friends for Happy Hour. The servers were kind and attentive and the place has a fun and funky feel. Will definitely come back.

Side Pony demonstrates what's right about the Denver food scene: Diversity (in the menu), Equity (boss ladies in charge), and Inclusion (specialty drinks mingle with hummus platers). The atmosphere is fun and decorative while the service is top notch. The only thing to consider is that the dishes are small tapas style that can add up pretty quickly to a sizable bill. We loved it though- I would highly recommend it for small gatherings!

Cute place! Love the vibe and the fact that it's super airy and open but not pretentious either. Solid happy hour cocktails and friendly service.

It's been almost 9 months since my last visit. The inside decor and seating is still the same. The bar was full, so I sat at a small table with a padded bench and back cushions. The food & drinks menu has changed a little bit. This week they are promoting Negroni's with assistance from the Campari brand. Only $10 each. Their cocktails range from $8-$14. I got a classic Negroni with gin, vermouth and Campari. Excellent cocktail. I ordered the Charcuterie board (still $24). It had green olives, dried apricots, 2 cheeses and 2 meats with 2 types of crackers and a dollop of fig spread. I switched to the Negroni Sbagliato made with sparkling wine instead of gin. Similar to an Aperol Spritz but more of a kick. Three different people served me including the manager. A great way to end a workday.

This coffee and cocktails operation is outstanding! The service is always amazing-so kind and attentive! The food choices, whether it be croissants, fresh baked bread, charcuterie boards or breakfast burritos are exceptional. Queen City Collective Coffee is their bean of choice-very rich and flavorful as it pairs well with coffee, sugar, and/or vodka or bourbon. This is a great, chill place in the West Colfax neighborhood. Visit their sister restaurant Pony Up in LODO too!

The waffle was delicious! The service was even better. That's the best part about this place--super friendly and bubbly staff. The only bad thing about this place is that they don't have a changing table for those that bring in a kid. Also parking is a bit difficult. Other than that cute spot for a date.

Perfect breakfast! Came here while in town on vacay and had the coffee/breakfast sandwich combo and it was delicious! Super cute spot with friendly people.

I visited Side Pony while visiting a high school girlfriend in Denver. I did not have high expectations for a "cafe/bar".. usually when an establishment tries to be everything in one, it doesn't turn out too well. But....WOW. Side Pony has executed this endeavor very well and it turned out to be one of those excellent recommendations you hope to get when traveling to a place you don't know much about!! Side Pony is very unique...Great service and the vibe is sexy/fun/chill...all in one! The bartenders are awesome and attentive; they obviously care a lot about your experience. I don't drink coffee, but they have great cocktails - I love all of them I tried, but the "Jeremy on the Block" margarita is outstanding! Oddly, despite not liking coffee, I have been on an Espresso Martini kick lately and theirs is the best ever, beating out many I had recently in Europe. I loved their charcuterie board and the mac-n-cheese. Oh! and the bathrooms are on point! Loved the framed pony wall! Bummed I did not get any photos, but I was having too much fun in real life to remember to snap any. One interesting point I never really remark on with other establishments is the merchandise they have for sale. It is almost ALWAYS cheesy, out of style, too rough of material, or sport cuts that are not flattering to girls. I was thrilled to see Side Pony even paid attention to this detail, so I grabbed a crop top with their name on it and have been sporting it ever since - see my pics on the flight home and last week in Vegas!! I received compliments from a guy in a bar in San Diego, "Hey Side Pony!" Grab yourself something cute while you are there for conversation starters elsewhere! Great job, Side Pony!! I will be back when in Denver next.

What's my weakness you may be wondering? It might have to be a coffee shop that also serves craft cocktails. Was super glad my fellow coworker and Yelp Denver CM took me to this spot to cowork when I was in town. Side Pony is really where it is at. Super spacious inside, too, and plenty of seating. There were a lot of people there grabbing a drink and chatting with friends, and people also working as well. The vibe in here is super cute. If I lived in Denver, I'd be a frequent flier of this establishment. The staff was super generous and actually came to our table to take our orders. I don't really know any coffee shops in Vegas that do that haha, not sure if it was because Matt C is special (duh) or if this was the usual, but I loved it. I opted for an espresso martini... or two... or did I have a gin drink, too? That's what my pictures say at least, and now I remember they were all delish drinks. Hey, don't blame me, they were DELIGHTFUL! The perfect blend of liquor and coffee with that espresso martini and a G&T bevvy... I was truly a happy camper. I also tried some puff bagel thing. Matt recommended it and hyped it up, so I had to... and it lived up to all the expectations. I probably could have ate at least 15 more of them if we weren't headed to dinner shortly after. Definitely a great coffee shop and I can see why people in Denver love it.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Side Pony!!! Those exclamation points are real, folks. Side Pony, from the same people who own one of my favorite places, Pony Up, have graced Sloan's Lake with a beautiful coffee bar and cocktail lounge. Say it ain't so? My two favorite things from real deal industry professionals. I can cry tears of happiness. Side Pony opens to the public on Monday, March 6th 2023. It looks like their opening hours are 7am-11pm every day. Coffee by day and cocktails by night. Again, the happy tears are flowing abundantly. What else is going on here. Now they might not be boasting their epic French Dips like Pony Up does. Here you'll find a more refined coffee/cocktail lounge menu. Pastries from Rebel Bread, Bonfire burritos and snacks like cheese boards and accoutrements. Food to nosh on, but the focus is still on their incredible cocktail menu and specialty coffee drinks from Queen City. To say I'm excited is a severe understatement. I mean, it's a 10 minute walk from my house. I can't wait to work remotely over coffee, meet friends for drinks and add this to my weekly rotation. Side Pony for the win!!!

Such a fun night! Single Girls Rule the World Bingo with Talia Tucker. Lots of prizes and fun games in between the rounds of bingo. Talia knows how to keep everyone engaged and the servers know how to keep the drinks and snacks coming. It doesn't hurt that my friend won both rounds of the gift card prizes.

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

There was only one bartender, but he was friendly and attentive and came over to our table quickly. The espresso martini I ordered was a nine out of 10 - very tasty but had a strong vodka taste (which tells me it was probably very cheap vodka). The other cocktail was a Manhattan and it was not served with an ice cube instead it was only watered down. Probably wouldn't order that again. Overall, the space was cute and comfy, and I'd like to stop back in and try a coffee sometime

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

I'd go back if a friend really wanted to go and we could sit at the bar, otherwise I was unimpressed with my experience there. 1. The decor/vibes are elegant and classy, but the staff aggressively ask for IDs at the door like bouncers instead of just asking at the time of ordering like a nice bar. Also the paper towels in the bathroom are the cheapest I've ever seen, not matching the facade of the place. They also make you pour your own water, just not elevated service considering the elevated appearance of the place. 2. Someone in my group called ahead the previous week to ask about a reservation accommodating 7 people since they only have reservations for up to 6 available online. When other people in the group arrived, the hostess/waitress was very resistant to us explaining our phone reservation and made us stand there at the front door to discuss instead of just letting us sit in the very empty seating area. After a few minutes of this, they finally let us sit in the wide open area for "an hour" until their actual reservation 1:45 after our arrival. The seating areas were small, so it makes sense they don't offer reservations for 7+, but then their employee shouldn't have told us on the phone that it'd be okay. 3. We watched them turn away a group with a silent infant because it wasn't 21, which just seemed odd. At the end they did bring our group cute cava shots, but I don't feel like that made up for the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.
