From the moment we walked in, the vibe was perfect--cozy yet lively, with great energy behind the bar and even some Olympics coverage on the screens adding to the fun atmosphere. We started with what might be one of the best bruschetta apps: grilled, charred bread topped with blistered heirloom tomatoes (those vibrant yellow and red ones!), creamy burrata (or whipped ricotta-like cheese), fresh basil, and a gorgeous balsamic drizzle. The contrast of the smoky, crispy bread with the juicy, roasted tomatoes and that rich, peppery cheese was so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend sharing this one! Frankie's cocktails were spot-on too. We went for the perfect pink marg with Tajín rims refreshing, citrusy (heavy on the lime), with just the right kick of spice from the rim. They were dangerously drinkable and paired beautifully with everything. Came back to try the Chicken Caesar sandwich and this place is still my favorite spot in town. The Caesar Sando had the most perfect breaded chicken cutlet, it had phenomenal crunch but was still juicy and the crumb was well seasoned. For the sandwich as a whole, I would recommend taking the tomato's out (surprising for me because I'm a huge tomato fan) but they were a bit too acidic as they use a cooked and then maybe cooled cherry type of tomato? Not sure but next time I'd take those out. I personally would maybe swap the tomato's out for a squeeze of fresh lemon juice in the Caesar but regardless still a hit and I will forever have this on my list of must visits to friend and family coming to town. read more

Such a great restaurant. I have dreams about their mozzarella. The sandwiches are massive and made with so much love. Drinks are fantastic, and the happy hour is great. We just went here the other day and wow can they make a sandwich! I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar sandwich and it was amazing. The bread was delicious, crunchy, yet fluffy enough to bite through! The chicken cutlet was cooked perfect and the shredded lettuce and tomato were dressed perfectly in Caesar dressing! We also got the Caprese sandwich and added prosciutto. It definitely beat out the Caesar sandwich! It also had great bread and the perfect amount of meat cheese and tomato! I got a spicy Bloody Mary and it was one the best ones I have had in a while! Nice pickle taste with horseradish! We sat outside on the porch. It's a little confusing at first, there's no waitstaff so you have to go inside and order but they will bring it to your seat! No one greeted us at the door but when another couple walked in they were greeted with menus and then offered a seat at the bar immediately while we had stood there for 5-10 minutes waiting and assuming it was first come first serve. The overall vibe of this place is a nice and relaxed! You walk up to counter to order and drinks and food were all timely. I got the Italian beef and was very surprised by how flavorful it was. My only critique would be that it didn't come out very hot. My SO got the Hell's Kitchens and enjoyed. Both of us would get our sandwiches again. I forgot a picture of the wings but they were perfectly crispy and the dry rub was very flavorful! I wish the sauce had the option of being on wings instead of the side but not a huge deal. A friend and I just ate here for lunch and I can't live! To me it's a sandwich lovers dream....I ordered the cutlet of chicken that was their chicken Caesar salad sandwich.....with extra dressing that was so fresh and delicious! Also had the calamari ( damn tasty and we destroyed that ! )and my friend had the towering roast beef sandwich that had NO fat and was served perfectly rare. Just incredible! Our server was Maile and you couldn't get more professional or be more personal than her. The golden basket of fries stole the show; I wish more restaurants would follow their lead. This has been a local haunt of mine for many years. The service and ambience are always good. The menu has changed several times over the years, including the restaurant's concept. My partner and I dropped in for dinner last night. We decided to split an app and an entree. The calamari was really good. However, the gnocchi was really disappointing. A bit slimy, mushy veggies and over seasoned with nutmeg. I could only choke down a couple bites before giving up. My partner however managed to make it through a couple more bites.
