Went for Cinco De Mayo and it was delicious and packed! The margs are tasty and service was okay (probably due to the crowd). Small space in front to sit outside. If you are in the area and looking for some good Mexican, snacks, or drinks I recommend you pop by.

We discovered El Camino a while ago while looking for a great new Mexican spot with good drinks, good tacos, and other options. They have a great happy hour and taco Tuesday deal, although the tacos are small and less flavorful than their normal items. The food is fantastic, we typically get the fajita platter and the spices used on the veggies is one of my favorite flavors! The tacos are also good and they have plenty of options for veggie based items as well. The margaritas are great, and I love that they have delicious mocktail options too. Service is good, we've mostly sat at the bar and never had a problem getting quick service. The restaurant is usually quite packed, and they have TVs available to watch sports games, as well as a large back patio for additional seating and good vibes. Removing one star due to the 20% auto gratuity that gets put on the bill (I like to have the choice to tip 20% but still would anyways), and they've made a taco order wrong once, but otherwise great food and a great little spot!

The food here is really good! They do $1 tacos on Tuesday, which is a steal considering how good they are! I've also had the quesadilla before which is delicious. It's always a bit busy, but I've never waited more than 20-30 minutes. However, I've been here 3 times and each time I get a margarita I feel sick after. Perhaps it is the simple syrup they use, but it's just not for me.

This place was amazing! We walked in around 7:30 on a Saturday and got a seat right away. We were brought water almost immediately and the server came right after to take our order. We got the nachos which were absolutely delicious! The green chile was perfect, the chips are homemade and thick. They bake the entire dish which just pulls it all together. It is definitely a must try if you're in the area. They have a great taco menu as well. The decor is woodsy/industrial, really pretty and a nice spot to come have drinks.

Had a great time last night at El Camino as part of a work event! Never been before but they have some solid food. They have a interior space with a nice dark wood paneling, feeling intimate. There's a nice big bar and some tables, then a large outdoor patio area. I loved the patio and enjoying the summer evening. Staff was friendly and attentive with the four of us. They were hardworking and helpful with menu advice. We started with the chips and salsa and I got an Ale Camino beer. It was from Ratio and had a nice lager taste. For dinner I had to pounce on the chicken enchiladas. They came in a delicious sauce and the meat was seasoned very well. They were very tasty, but I think I would have rather a green salsa over instead of shredded lettuce. Also, would have loved just a bit of beans and rice, but th e main dish was tasty anyway. Finished off the night with a mezcal margarita which was tasty! A bit too much ice for me, and really didn't have a big flavor. It was still tasty, and did the job! Overall I'll definitely consider eating here in the future when I'm back in town!

Amazing happy hour deals here! We all just kept ordering dishes of the happy hour menu & put together a random lunch and it was so fun. I am still thinking about the chorizo corndog and how I can steal that recipe. The corndog was so good that after having one, I ordered another. I had a taco as well which was delicious and tried almost everything from the HH menu. Really solid food, wide variety on the menu, and quick service. My only complaint is that the ginger pinnacle marg didn't really taste at all like ginger and I had been really excited to try their ginger infused tequila!

The atmosphere and food was exceptional. Service was friendly and great! We are here on Feb. 3 rd, it was 70 outside so we happily sat outside for our delicious meal! Thank you!

YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE!!! We had - the cauliflower app - Tempe taco - chips and salsa - mushroom taco - shishito peppers - plantain, banana dessert thing - corn churro donuts I will be DREAMING about this meal for the next year. This ambiance is perfect for a girls night or date night James, is an absolute angel and I will never doubt him when it comes to food ever again. Best service I have ever received at a restaurant. Believe me when I say I will be back

Highly recommend this place Came here on Tuesday and enjoyed the amazing deal. My favorite of the night was definitely the carnita taco with a sautéed veggie side. It's not porky and is full of flavor. The brisket was a bit too salty though, so I would just stick to the carnita next time

Food was decent. The wait staff was incredibly unfriendly and at times rude. This was our first time coming here and sadly won't be back.

I…read morefinally managed to get a reservation (booked exactly 60 days in advance when they opened), and it was absolutely worth the wait. Having that much time before our reservation also meant I got to thoroughly research the menu, which definitely paid off. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's small, intimate, and has a modern aesthetic. There isn't a ton of seating, but that's part of the charm. There's patio seating along the railing outside, bar seating where you can watch the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen, and just a handful of tables inside. Parking is street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, and from what it looked like, most of it is paid. It was just me and a friend, and we shared four dishes, which ended up being the perfect amount of food. We started with the Callo de Hacha al Horno, and these were hands down the best scallops I've ever had. The presentation alone was gorgeous, with the scallops served in their shell, but the flavor completely stole the show. I'm a huge seafood fan, and this dish absolutely delivered. My friend isn't even much of a seafood person, and it was his first time trying scallops and he loved them too. I joked that he may have ruined scallops for himself because it's hard to imagine finding a better version. Next, we each ordered a Taco Campechano, and wow. This was either the best or second-best taco I've ever had. The taco features two different meats with a green salsa on one half and a red salsa on the other, making every bite a little different. Both sides were fantastic, but the green salsa was next level. At around $11, this feels like one of the best values on the menu and is an absolute must-order. Our third dish was the Birria de Borrego, and it was incredible. The lamb shank was so tender that the bone slid right out with almost no effort. It comes with beans, salsa, and house-made blue corn tortillas so you can build your own tacos. Speaking of the tortillas--they deserve their own praise. They were phenomenal, and we honestly joked about asking for an order to take home. Our final dish was the Camote Asado, which I'd seen recommended all over the internet. Maybe I built it up too much in my head because it ended up being the only dish that didn't blow me away. Don't get me wrong, it was still very good. The sweet potato was perfectly cooked, and the fennel whipped requesón was delicious. My only heads-up for future diners is that some bites pack a surprising amount of heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, keep that in mind. I enjoy spicy food, but it's worth mentioning for those who don't! The service was excellent as well. They take your entire order at the beginning of the meal and then thoughtfully pace each course, which made the whole dining experience feel relaxed and intentional. One thing that really surprised me was the value. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, this was incredibly affordable. We ordered four courses between the two of us, and even after tip, our total was only around $120 (we didn't order cocktails). That's an exceptional value for the quality of food and overall experience! Overall, Alma Fonda Fina completely lived up to the hype. Between the incredible execution, creative flavors, intimate atmosphere, and surprisingly reasonable pricing, this has quickly become one of my all-time favorite restaurants. It's easy to see why reservations are so hard to get, and I'll absolutely be back. Next time, I'm hoping to grab a seat at the chef's counter to watch the team in action while working my way through even more of the menu.

The sweet potato still my favorite dish, but I hand to day the queso funfido from the happy hour menu was a close 2nd. If you go 2-5pm, I can't recommend this enough. You have to get it. Same as my 1st time going, I love this restaurant for their great dishes and flavor profiles. I absolutely feel like I'm paying for the food, and not any atmosphere or showsmenship, which for me is an important factor when recommending a restaurant. Only small detail, we got the ceviche as our 4th dish. Given that is sweet due to the coconut milk, I feel this should have been last as a kind-of desert-like dish. Either way, still an absolute gem and must in town

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar.
