I was excited to try a neighborhood restaurant, so we decided to get brunch. Misstep 1: no price on the mimosa and when i asked - $8 a glass. Ended up being $12 on my check. Then, after sitting for an uncomfortable amount of time, i asked the host if someone was going to come around to take our order. We ordered as we had enough time to look over the menu and decide while we waited. Apparently, the restaurant was not prepared for the holiday weekend. The food: cold, burnt and under cooked. I was hungry so i ate my cold breakfast sandwich which should've been hot and one of the pieces of bread was burnt. However, the accompanying roasted potatoes were really tasty! My partner's food was undercooked: rare when requested well done and cold. How long did our food sit at the window? I sent back her food and ordered another breakfast sandwich in its place. It came out at the right temperature, but i had already finished. The restaurant realized how badly our experience was going so we were only charged for my drink and the doughnuts. The doughnuts were warm and tasty! Definitely order that dish. Missed the mark on service and food. We'll revisit eventually and hope for a better experience.

Came here for happy hour during the week. The ambiance was really nice and welcoming. The hibiscus mule was really good- nice tartness and not too sweet. We ordered the patatas bravas and focaccia to split. The potatoes came in a generous serving and were so yummy. The focaccia was good but not mind blowing- the butter that came with it though was really good. They got a little busy so service was a tad slow, but the staff were so nice and friendly!

Salmon w orzo for restaurant week

It's was alright! I went for Dining Week and tried the salmon with orzo. The menu is simple and the place is a clean, open style design. I can see myself going back again and trying more. It's hard to rate, I probably need more visits, but I'll round up to a 4 for now as I think others should check it out. The regular menu is pretty basic but hit's all the basic categories: fish, chicken, pork, beef, veggie. I do hope the keep evolving it regularly, though. If someone were to frequent here often, they'd quickly run out of new options otherwise. The starters have quite a variety. They have brunch on Sundays and their website says a happy hour, but don't share what the happy is drinks/eats. Never understood why so many places hide that menu. It's in an area that doesn't have a whole lot else around walking distance, but maybe that will change in the future.

I'll start by saying that I think that this restaurant is pretty shortstaffed right now, I went out to eat with a few people for 7 PM reservation on a Friday night and there was only two waiters that I saw. Our waitress was very kind, but clearly overwhelmed trying to keep everyone's needs met. The back of house may have been understaffed as well, we didn't get our food until about 8:15/8:20pm. With that being said, I would still recommend going to this restaurant, but give yourself ample time. We had an event we had to get to so the end of our meal was pretty rushed, but I think if I was just schmoozing with friends at a night out, and we got a couple appetizers early, I wouldn't have really cared. My meal was great, I ordered the special and it was so good I could've licked the plate clean. We did get the brussels sprouts as an appetizer, and I would not recommend those because it was all flakes, no true brussels sprouts lol. You can see in the picture! I was kind of thinking it might've been the remainder of a batch.

I love this neighborhood restaurant. It feels upscale but is tucked away! Amazing food. Would always come back

Great dining experience! Great service, cozy ambiance, and delicious food and drinks. We ordered a few plates and ate them family style and it was great. Our server had great energy. Restaurant decor is modern but homey.

Had a really good experience this week at Whit's End. We went specifically for the fish and chips and it did not disappoint. So glad this is now part of their permanent menu.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

Cash only. $5 for all drinks. Don't expect any fancy cocktails. They can still make a juice, soda, liquor concoction with a lime, and voila! You have a cocktail. The crowds are super diverse in age and ethnicity, a rarity I desperately often miss in CO. The music is awesome.. 90's grunge, rnb, hiphop. We bought a stack of playing cards. Also $5 and entertained ourselves for hours. I visited other bars afterwards and had to come back to old faithful for our nightcap. Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.
