The steak and fries were delicious. The salmon and artichoke were pretty good. The service was great and the ambiance is reminiscent of New York City restraunts.

This was our first time there and the ambience was fantastic. The team was amazing and the food was spectacular. We highly recommend recommended.

Satchel's on 6th upon walking in is loud and crowded. The area is square shaped with a bar in the back. The bar has about 12 stools without backs. There are 9 tables on each side against a booth. Each table fits 2, one in a chair, one in a booth. The front has big windows. The hallway to the bathroom is a bit congested with staff going to kitchen and extra equipment in the hallway. The menu is small to say the least. At the time of writing there's 6 starts ranging from $7-$19. And there's five main courses from $22 - $37. I'm curious how often they change the menu. The wine list and cocktail list was longer. The burrata was more like a veggie cheese salad. It wasn't a bruschetta. Good though. I had the Morel Mushroom Tagliatelle, $29. The spinach was overly lemony and the sauce didn't adhere to the noodles making it taste plain. The mushrooms were very good. It took a bit to get serviced and semi inattentive. Overall cute. But way overpriced and under sized. They do charge per iced tea flute by the way.

Went to Satchel's for a dinner date on a Tuesday afternoon. It was a very popular place as I could tell by the lack of space. It is a very small place so a crowd definitely made it a squeeze which isn't bad, that means a business is thriving which is great! I will say I kinda disliked our original seating, it was a small little table for two and I honestly wasn't sure how multiple plates of food plus drinks were gonna fit on the table. Not a very comfortable fit. Luckily we ended up getting seated at a table for 4 which was nice because it gave us the appropriate space. The food was good, I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't life altering good food and some things were fried in duck fat which just adds a bit of an interesting taste to the food. Not necessarily my cup of tea. I'd say that I'd visit this place for more of a social outing with friends who like old fashioned drinks. The vibes definitely felt like it's more of a suitable place for a crowd over 30 which isn't bad it just wasn't my favorite place but I still recommend you visit!

It was easy to walk to without moving my car from the mall garage, which was nice since the parking near the bar itself is scarce and just street parking. They have the cutest little set up, nestled in between a larger building with some large murals on the walls of beautiful violet flowers. They also have a great patio set up, with live fires that you can sit around. The service was great, we were greeted almost instantly, and the waiter made recommendations on his favorite drinks, I got the coco coffee cocktail, which is very popular according to the staff. It was a little too creamy for me, so not my favorite, but was tasty and elegant nonetheless. I also got the Elote dip, it was also good, but nothing spectacular. Overall, the vibe was great, though, people at other tables were friendly, and it did not feel stuffy. Prices are Cherry Creek normal, a drink is $16-20. Will definitely come back and try something new

But then there was some shady stuff going on at the front of the line (I was right at the front), and the bouncer was basically just letting in whoever he wanted, and ignoring the line. Was kind of frustrating, but we waited patiently so we could see what this place was all about. The vibes were cool, and I'd like to go back on a weeknight when it's not so busy. So, I need the service to be a little better for me to increase my rating. And then maybe try some of the bites that they offer during food service times. Idk. This place has potential... and it is really cute. Hoping for more next time.

From the amazing views to the welcoming staff, everything about this place feels elevated and memorable. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The hummus was also a standout, especially with the matcha salsa, pita chips, and fresh crudité. For drinks, the frozen margaritas were a must -- especially with the mango or guava upgrade, which our server recommended and absolutely nailed. It has great views of the city! The pool itself is very small. The chairs fill up quickly and it can feel like trying to claim your spot on a cruise- scoping out who even flinches to take over their spot. However, once you do get a spot, the loungers are super comfortable and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. They do have cabanas that you can reserve. One thing that they do very well is service. The staff is constantly circulating the pool deck, providing drinks and bites to guests. The service was noticeably excellent and attentive.

Beef tartare was close behind, finely diced and well-seasoned. The guacamole was fresh and chunky, the prawns had a nice char, and the Amarillo ceviche brought a bright, citrusy heat from the aji amarillo peppers that balanced beautifully against the cool, tender fish. But the real highlight of the night was the steaks. My skirt steak was cooked perfectly, well-charred outside and tender inside, paired with the potatoes three ways, crispy, creamy, and roasted, each with its own texture and seasoning. Even better was the tomahawk ribeye, flambéed tableside in mezcal, a great bit of theater with a smoky, slightly sweet flame that infused the meat. I got lucky enough to try a bite. Rich, buttery, and delicious with heavy rosemary. A real treat. Service was a bit spotty for our group. I won't go into details, but our server disappeared for long stretches and it took a long time to finally get our entrees. This was likely because of our specific server.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.
