Bar Amorina is a nice, relaxing bar in the Clayton Hotel. With its yellow butter walls, velvet striped green pillows, and gold bolsters across the cozy booths, one feels like they have escaped to an Italian beach. Service was attentive and friendly. Small bites are offered, but we had already eaten. We did take advantage of their great happy hour. It runs daily from 3-6pm with generous Italian wine pours, Spritzes, and snacks for $10 each. Service is attentive, and the 20% gratuity is already added to your check. Everything is taken care of so you can sip, savor, and enjoy.

I got to check them out during their soft opening, and the space is stunning with modern vibes and a chic pink aesthetic. The staff was amazing and I want to give a quick shoutout to our awesome server and the super friendly and amazing staff! If you're looking for a fun cocktail spot, this is definitely worth a visit. What we ordered: Fresh Burrata Caprese: tomato confit, basil, balsamic ponzu, olive oil, sesame focaccia Bluefin Tuna: citrus kosho, tangerine, tonnato sauce, Sicilian oregano Pepe Pinsa Romana: tomato passata, burrata, peppers, basil Radiatore Pasta: a la vodka, basil, parmigiano Tiramisu Cocktails: Espresso Martini, Manhattan, White Negroni, Amaros Best bites & sips: Where Bar Amorina really shines is in their cocktails. My espresso martini (enhanced with amaro) was perfect, and the Manhattan was equally spot-on. Food-wise, the fresh burrata with tomato confit and focaccia was fantastic, and I loved the spicy kick in the radiatore pasta. However, portions felt small for the price--$25 for half a flatbread or a modest bowl of pasta might not justify the cost, even knowing Cherry Creek tends to be on the pricier side. (We had a 50% discount due to the soft opening). The tiramisu, though? Absolute perfection--no notes needed!

Came here for Gurls night and we're surprised to see it was just our group and one other couple in such a beautiful establishment. Turns out it was the March madness championship game and since this bar doesn't have TVs, it wasn't a hotspot for tonight. (perfect for us.) The place is so beautiful with ornate mid century, modern decor and a clean crisp ambience with yellow toned lighting and dark tone, bubble couches We started with daiquiris all around, the pistachio cream was so unique and the egg white really set it apart, this is one of the best drinks I've had in a while We then decided to order something from each of the menu sections and split it all. We tried the Hamachi Crudo, which was incredible, fresh and flavorful with the crunchy texture from the seeds adding an extra layer to the plate. We also tried a bruschetta Caprese style with fresh focaccia, this was amazing, the roasted tomatoes and garlic cloves were to die for - I wish this plate was twice the size. We also had the one of the pinsas which was just ok, as well as the rigatoni pasta, which was also nothing special. The best plate of the night was the truffle gnocchi, it's that the flavor and insanely creamy texture made it a stand out for sure. If not for the rigatoni and pinsa falling a little flat, this place would have five stars! Thank you!

Loved it! Classy and elegant yet a fun hang out with friendly staff and good appetizers and awesome drinks. Probably the best old fashioned in the area, really good! The martini and Manhattan were also good but the old fashioned took gold! Drinks don't come fast and for good reason, you can't rush perfection so sit back, order a nosh and have a good chat!

What a pleasure to come check out this new restaurant for its soft opening. We walked into an aroma so pleasant amongst arriving. We sat at one of the bar (they have 2) and were greeted promptly. The service here was impeccable and made our night so fun! The cocktails were yummy and inventive classics. They are a mozzarella bar and they did not disappoint there! Mozzarella was delicious as well as the freshly sliced cured meats. I also indulged in a pasta and yum! Stunning all the way around and look forward to going back!

From the amazing views to the welcoming staff, everything about this place feels elevated and memorable. The food and drinks were just as impressive. The Ahi Poke with tortilla chips was outstanding, with thick, luxurious ponzu-tossed tuna, creamy avocado, pickled jalapeños, red onions, and furikake. The hummus was also a standout, especially with the matcha salsa, pita chips, and fresh crudité. For drinks, the frozen margaritas were a must -- especially with the mango or guava upgrade, which our server recommended and absolutely nailed. If you're looking for delicious food, creative cocktails, amazing service, and the best rooftop vibes of the summer, Kisbee on the Roof is a must-visit. It has great views of the city! The pool itself is very small. The chairs fill up quickly and it can feel like trying to claim your spot on a cruise- scoping out who even flinches to take over their spot. However, once you do get a spot, the loungers are super comfortable and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. They do have cabanas that you can reserve. One thing that they do very well is service. The staff is constantly circulating the pool deck, providing drinks and bites to guests. The service was noticeably excellent and attentive.

We had an amazing dinner at Local Jones (LJs) at the Halcyon Hotel, visiting on the second night of their new menu, and they absolutely nailed it. Our party of four was impressed from start to finish. The staff was outstanding--knowledgeable, prompt, and attentive without ever hovering. It felt like they truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. The food was excellent across the board. My New York strip was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rest of our group loved their dishes just as much--the mussels, shepherd's pie, and braised short ribs all got rave reviews. It's not often that four totally different entrées are all home runs, but LJs pulled it off. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. We will definitely make LJs a regular stop whenever we're in Denver. Highly recommend!

The price was a bit high, but the quality of the meal was spot on. I had the seared scallops with celery root puree, pomegranate seeds, cous cous, and toasted hazelnuts. Divine. My husband had the filet mignon with Bearnaise sauce, and roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also amazing. Both dishes per cooked to perfection. All employees were professional and our server was friendly. The atmosphere was lovely--clean, warm, inviting. It was an interesting journey to find the bathroom. It's shared with other parts of the building and was the only thing that needed attending. Four stars for the messy bathrooms, price being quite high, and it was a 2 hour and 45 min dinner. Took forever. I've never had so many glasses of water in my life in such a short period of time. If you can afford it, I would certainly say the food was almost worth it--desserts were just okay, and one of the appetizers was alright.

Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.
