Oh my goodness. I thought this place would be great for some pizza and other items to try, but it was awful. We order artichoke dip, but it tasted more like spinach. Maybe 1/4 artichoke, and the rest was full of cheese and spinach. If you like cheese, then get this item. However, if you are looking for that artichoke taste, skip it. We also ordered their salad, and that was the only item that I finished. Their pizza is terrible. They poured Parmesan on top of our pizza. That's a no-no. We will add it ourselves if we wanted it. Something is also wrong with the crust too. I guess there are restaurants where they don't know how to make a good pizza. Service? What service, they were only interested in serving those people who are drinking and ordering alcohol drinks. As for diners like ourselves, they did not take care of us. Unfortunately, we went when the soccer game was being broadcasted, so there goes the ambience: loud and noisy. Turn and run away from this place. read more

We recently visited this sports bar and had a mixed experience. The pizza was definitely the star of the meal--delicious and just what we hoped for! Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was way too overdressed for our taste, and the egg rolls were served cold, which was a letdown. Service was okay, but you could tell our server was juggling a lot since he was the only one on the floor besides the bartender. The atmosphere had a fun sports bar vibe that we enjoyed, making it a decent spot to catch a game. Overall, it had its ups and downs, and while we loved some things, there were areas that could use improvement. read more

Looks like a normal dive bar with a bar restaurant menu, inside first floor table and bar seating, upstairs seating and outside seating. But not your average bar food quality! Hot dog ($10) surprisingly good flavors. Peppers super spicy. Fries looked over fried but were actually really good Double trouble burger was smaller than I thought but not bad! Two smash patties. Joe Willy sauce is a bit spicy. Tater tots were fried very well, great texture. Overall pleasantly surprised! read more

After a visit to Washington Park I was looking for a close place for lunch. I happened upon this establishment. The restaurant was very inviting. Young Connor was also welcoming answering my questions that I had about their beer etc... I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I would have liked it cooked more but that was my fault for not telling them but then again he could have asked how i wanted the burger but not a biggie. It's just a recommendation for both parties. Also another plus they have thousand island dressing. A rarity. They have a nice place here as they have a patio and an upstairs bar. Definitely enough space if you wanted a private party if they do that kind of thing. Best of all they give military discounts. read more

Cute little sports bar! Mackenzie was our waitress and was amazing! We all ordered wings. Cooked well, good size and a nice selection of sauces. I had the Peach habanero - great flavor, good balance of sweet and spicy. We shared an order of pizza rolls - marinara sauce wasn't necessary. Espresso martini made with a local almond tequila was very tasty. The parking lot is small, we found parking on the main street, about a half block down. Will definitely visit again! read more

Service was great, staff was friendly. Fun atmosphere with plenty of TVs - both indoor and outdoor seating. I got the southside pizza and it had no flavor. Wouldn't recommend the regular pizzas but the BBQ chicken pizza is delish. read more

I live in the neighborhood and love to support local. The food is solid for a pub, especially the wraps and burgers! Service has been friendly, prompt, and professional each time I've stopped in. My friends rave about Joe Willy's and they enjoy chatting with the owner, Ryan; it's a great place for a casual hang. Unfortunately, the Wednesday comedy night on 2/4/26 significantly altered my experience. The comedians targeted a large table of men the entire time; instead of jokes, they made harsh and direct judgments on gender/political views that made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I typically enjoy comedy and understand it holds controversial takes, but this didn't feel like a safe space to process current events. To be honest, I'm unsure if I'll return. This was an unsettling event and there are many other fun bars/breweries on the block. read more

Joe Willy's is sick! Great sports bar. Came here and watched the Avalanche game 5 vs Wild. Perfect weather and great patio. Cool memorabilia all over the walls. Nice waitress and good pours. The food is great elevated bar food. Pimento chicken Sando, any salad as a wrap and the thin crust pizzas were standouts. Def will be back! Perfect spot to catch any game. read more

Nice beers. Great bartenders. Solid pizza. Outstanding open mic Comedy upstairs on Wednesdays. read more

Garlic knots and Santa Fe Egg Rolls were a great flavorful happy hour treat. Sarah is a great bartender with great information and suggestions. She makes a great Old Fashoned. Older bar that was inviting with a lot of character. My first visit with Sarah, I asked about the Italian Beef Sandwich. This second visit with her, I ordered it and was not disappointed. read more

Joe Willy’s - Old Fashioned - Burgers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

We've got a good dive bar happening with a lot of competition in the area. The only issue is, we can't count on weekday staff. Sarah is all time, but there are times, when Sarah isn't there, you're looking to grab some food during the week and the bartender is pushing you out early due to lack of people being there. I'm all about the chicken quesadilla and pepperoni pizza. The management is on point and is ready to put everyone's game on. We're close to 5 stars here. read more

We were visiting from out of town and came here for the Avs game, had the absolute best time!! We had beverages and Pizza puffs. Bailey was our server and she was so friendly and helpful!! Definitely will be back!! Great place to watch a game as well. Also Pizza puffs, 10/10 read more

Joe Willy’s - Good food, happy smiles. - Burgers Near Me - Denver, Colorado

This is a 10 month old bar. They have amazing food and drinks. Surrounded by equally amazing neighbors. I'm very happy having the opportunity to visit them and one of the reasons I love what I do. Having met Ryan one of the owners and interviewing him a bit about this family business. Irish descent and coming from a multitude of different lives in the past. He and family decided on this location. It feels to me like they belong here. Joe Willys is a beloved name in the family and it just have to be this name and no other. Born in CO and grew up in the Midwest upbringing made him bring the thin crust pizza Chicago style. A crust pizza can hold its meat and whatever else they put on it. They have a couple of new to the menu that I must talk about. The Pizza Burger. It's an answer to your evolving "what to get" or can't decide. Trust me it's delicious enough. Then there's the Fried Chicken sandwich with their fat fries. The chicken is well seasoned & a must try. And their Hotdog and Sausage combo is a must! The rest? Everything is simple bar food that you might wanna take a shower after consuming but boy oh boy. It's finger lickin' good! They're working on a patio right now. But if you want sunshine their second floor window table has the best view! **Check out their Happy Hour and Lunch Specials Happy Hour:25% off draft beer, well liquor, well wine. Half off Apps. Lunch Specials:11:00-3:00 Check it out. Everything on it is $10.95 read more

One of my favorite sports bars in Denver! The staff is friendly, classic bar food (must order the potato chips), and plenty of screens to watch any game. Located on South Broadway, Joe Willys is perfect when you need a place to watch sports. read more

Awesome experience! The inside and patio are both great options for seating and watching sporting events. The food is killer and the staff are awesome. Highly recommend! read more

Surprisingly a great place for drinks and food! The bartender was super friendly and accommodating. Our food came out fast and the drinks were so tasty, The bar was clean and inviting. They even went above and beyond to make drinks that weren't on the menu. A great place to eat or hangout to watch a game, read more

This is a great sports dive bar on South Broadway in the old Pasquinis building. Good selection of brews and a good kitchen turning out Chicago beefs and sausage sandwiches. Have not tried the pizza yet but it looks promising. They also offer killer made to order chips as a side. We hit this place for lunch but it sounds like they get rockin' on the weekends. Give it a try, Ryan will take care of you. read more

A great addition to our South Broadway neighborhood! Friendly service and nice pub type menu, well prepared. Can't wait for the patio to open! read more

Went here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by ambiance- casual and chill nice bar and friendly service- we were the only ones in there at 4 and never had such an affordable happy hour- granted we didn't drink- wish they had cocktails on hh but it was about 5 bucks for garlic knots and Brussels which were delish!! read more

Great atmosphere and even better food! I highly recommend stopping by! They are also building a patio which is exciting!

You need to eliminate the comedy on Wednesday. Very controversial. None of them are comedians and they just make fun of the people trying to enjoy a nice dinner. Thanks Ryan. read more

Joe Willys is an amazing hidden gem on South Broadway! It boasts a pretty sizable bar focused food and drink menu with delicious appetizers and great pizza. The drink menu is stocked like a normal bar, but u do find their cocktail menu to be a bit lacking and overpriced for their quality. A standard $10 house cocktail covering the basic would be a great addition: margarita, old fashioned, whiskey sour etc. The service is always friendly but sometimes a little confused. There is a host stand but rarely anyone there making it unclear whether seating is seat yourself or wait to be seated. In addition, there have been instances where pepperoni and pepperoncini were mistaken and wrong food was delivered. The ambiance is a classic American bar with a heavy sports focus and two story layout making it cozy and spacious at the same time. read more

Great spot. Had the Denver and Buffalo Chicken pizzas and both were great. Can tell ingredients are fresh. Servers were super nice and although they were slammed, all staff was hustling and doing it with a smile. Great little spot. read more

Bailey crushed it!! The bar was super busy for an Iowa game and the service did not disappoint! The Senor spritz is my favorite and don't sleep on the pork brisket loaded fries. So dang good. Would have had a photo, but ate too fast read more

Guess who's new in the neighborhood? Joe Willy's! We work right across the street so have been dying for this spot to open and we certainly aren't disappointed! The smash burger is a smash, the fries are incredible and they even give you some really yummy cinnamon bread while you wait. The owner and his staff are incredible as well. We are quickly becoming regulars and we aren't mad about it. read more

We are very happy to see a restaurant in the old, burned out Pasquini's space! We happily stopped in and shared some wings and split a burger the other day. The buffalo wings are very traditional, and the dry rub were good, but were a bit too encrusted in spice. The ranch dressing had a bit to be desired as it was super watery and bubbly on top. We chose to skip it. The burger and fries were delicious. We were our servers first table ever, which was kinda cool. She was very nice and attentive. The website has photos that don't match the space or the plates used which is disappointing and deceiving, but I am sure as they get some customers under their belt, this will be remedied? read more

This place is so good. Came here with my team while traveling to Denver from CT, came here for dinner and from the people to the food across the board 10/10! read more

I absolutely love this place. Think sports bar but with some class (love a dive when I'm in the mood) but this place is not divey. THEY HAVE AN EXCELLENT HAPPY HOUR from 3-6 Monday through Friday that all of my friends enjoy. The service is 10/10 we love Sarah the bartender! She is so attentive and kind! The manager Ryan is so warm and friendly. He gets to know people and their names. He is always the best face to see when we walk in the door. This is a weekly spot for us. For the happy hour try all the food! They are half off and we have tried it all. My boyfriend and I would not say one bad word about their food. Not on the happy hour but try the wings! 10/10 our favorite flavors are buffalo and the dry rub read more

Such a cool neighborhood bar. They have games up stairs along with a really cool bar top. Highly recommend

Great neighborhood bar! Service is very good with attentive bartenders and friendly staff. We like the pizza rolls and will order again.

Been here a few times now. Great food, great sports viewing and most of all great service!

Really good wings. We sat at the bar and had a drink. Gluten free options are very limited.

Stopped by Joe Willy's on Thursday night for their Ladies' Night and the evening did not disappoint! The menu has great variety (including a kids' menu), ladies' drinks were half off, and the music was FIRE! Megan Mitchell is basically a human jukebox! Great food, great entertainment! read more

Thank God! Just what the neighborhood needed! An actual sports bar! The place is brand new, so sure, they are still ironing out a few issues, have another beer & chill. You aren't in a 5 Star Hotel, kooks. Lots of servers on the floor. Food is fantastic. Beers are cold. You cannot swing a dead cat without hitting a TV. Great spot. Typical Broadway parking so you gotta neighborhood park & walk a bit, so what. It's gonna be a CU & Iowa watch party bar. LFG! Welcome to S. Broadway. From these dudes to Englewood is gonna be the new spot in town. Best of luck! I wish you much success & an expansion eventually. Cheers! read more

Food, service and very very clean!! Nice job will be coming back. Very nice and attentive staff. Really impressed.

If you want good service, do not come here! This place is seat yourself so we went upstairs where there were more clean tables available. We waited over 25 minutes without even being acknowledged by a server so we left. We won't be coming back! Edit: pretty comical that the owner won't take any responsibility for horrible service. It's not our job to hunt down your servers. read more

I've been here several times, and try and support all the local businesses. I ordered a pizza online, went to pick it up even after the quoted time on their website. They obviously had no idea I had ordered when I got there, but told me it would be 5 minutes. 40 minutes later the bring me a somehow not warm pizza. Unreal, never in my life. I've literally left like 2 reviews in my life, this was so egregious and ridiculous I had to leave my 3rd. Just a clown show read more

Awesome staff. Great menu. The place to be any day of the week Definitely the best bar on Broadway

Great local sports bar. Very good cocktails and beer selection and food is super solid.
