What a great place to catch a game on the screen , friendly staff , fun decor and it is a big place so plenty of seating. Wings hit and the beer was delicious. I even won a free contest that made it even better. Lots of pics of inside, if just want a beer and good food with a gas on the screen or if there would have been a at home baseball game that would have been even better . Grabbed a beer and went to a baseball game because you are right there .

Potstickers. Already covered in sauce. I'd prefer to dip.

I never come here because it's too expensive. Everything is ridic priced and then they add multiple fees. Gratuity: You don't add gratuity on top of tax as a rule. If a customer prefers to tip more, that's their choice to decide, but it should be calculated by businesses correctly. Patrons shouldn't be 'expected' to pay gratuity to servers as an extra tip on the tax money they pay to the government. So if govt tax is $10, we wouldn't tip the server 20%, or $2, for the act of charging tax... Even those incorrect tip percentages were still calculated wrong! The actual math was incorrect and doesn't equal the values listed of 18%, 20%, 22%. They are mathing wrong and it's gross. Idk how a biz can mess that up accidentally and still be running a business which relies on accurate math. All of this added $ adds up and I try not to trust any suggested tip amounts because of false numbers, Tom's is an example. Reminder that Denver pays one of the highest hourly wages for servers. Most American cities pay a handful of bucks an hour for servers (not bartenders, which is minimum wage). But Denver is up there with much bigger, and prolific cities (think $2 an hour vs $17 -- it's wild if you didn't know!). One time I came for a football game, they promised to have a section with my game on (I called ahead) but they couldn't deliver on sounds and kept having issues. Which is stressful when your game is live! So for these reasons, it's just not a spot I choose to frequent. Probably get more out of tourist/business visitors or those who somehow (in this current climate) have extra money to blow.

Tom's Watch Bar is perfectly located in McGregor Square, very convenient whether you're heading to a baseball game at Coors Field, a concert at Summit Music Hall, or just looking for a fun place to hang out and watch a game. And one can literally watch any game, thanks in part to the massive HD television setup Tom's has smack dab in the center of the dining room. No matter which sport or team you follow, chances are you will be able to watch it at Tom's. I came here for some pre-concert grub and even though the place was packed (the Av's, playing an away game, and Nuggets were playing that same night) the service was impressively quick. We were seated and served way faster than expected for being a walk-in's. The burger was absolutely yum. I had the Bacon and Avocado Burger with Tots and it was one of the best I've had at a sports bar. The restrooms on the lower level are accessible for those using mobility assist equipment but the entrance may be a little more challenging to negotiate. Parking is, as the usje, also a "fun adventure", so definitely recommend the parking garage at One Wynkoop (closer to McGregor Square) or 19th and Waze (for a bit of a walk).

What a joke of a restaurant. They advertise vegan and vegetarian options, but they cook the them on the same place where they cook the meat (according to their menu) , which means they have no vegan nor vegetarian options. They are trying to deceive us. Never again.

Cornbread pancake & Nashville hot chicken - it's ok

First time visiting this location after a busy baseball game, and they were able to seat our group of five with no problem at all. The place is super clean, both upstairs and downstairs, with tons of screens so you can watch pretty much any game from anywhere. I really liked that there are so many different rooms and vibes to choose from--outdoor dining, upstairs golf simulators, and it's even dog-friendly on the patio. For food, I went with what sounded most interesting: the cornbread pancake with Nashville hot chicken. The chicken itself was great, and the sauce had amazing flavor, but the portion of chicken was pretty small compared to the oversized cornbread pancake. The pancake was unfortunately undercooked and dry, so I didn't end up eating much of it. We also got an order of the cheese curds and they didn't have the high quality batter I'm used to these were more like fresh out of a frozen box - you can skip those as well. I've been to their Vegas location for brunch before, and I remember the food, drinks, and overall vibe being a notch above--maybe I just picked the wrong thing here. Either way, I'd definitely come back to try something else, because the atmosphere and service make it worth another visit.

I came here for a private event upstairs, so it wasn't a typical experience. The servers were really attentive with our open bar. We had food on a buffet and it was also really good. There is tons of space there and it has a cool vibe.

We went for a night walk at Mac Gregor square downtown Denver . It was beautiful. Lots of restaurants , sports bar and cafe. The Coor's stadium beside the square. The area was clean and lots of street lights. Nice for a night stroll Then went for a drink at Tom's ordered craft beer and Thai chicken wings. Really tender and juicy Service was great.

Great place to watch a game and have libations and food. Staff did an excellent job and establishment was spotless. Would go again when in the area and wanting to watch a game.

The beer is always cold.

Stopped by Tom's Watch Bar while in town for the weekend, and it was the perfect spot to catch some college football before the Broncos' epic come-from-behind win the next day! The place is packed with TVs--there isn't a bad seat anywhere. The atmosphere is energetic and full of life, making it a great place for any sports fan. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent--way better than your typical bar fare. Whether you're here for the game, drinks, or just good vibes, Tom's Watch Bar delivers all around. Definitely worth a visit when in Denver!

First time here for a meetup with college alumni. Parking is a bit dicey, but I found a lot near Coors Field that wasn't too expensive. Once inside, this place is huge with lots of TVs. The beer selection wasn't as big as I might've expected, but there was still a decent selection, and I managed to find something I knew and liked. For food, I had the Mediterranean chicken grain bowl. While yes, it had grain in it, I would compare it more to a salad than an actual protein bowl, especially since it even came with dressing. It was very good and also did a job good of filling me up. Even if though they were busy, service was around whenever it was needed. I'd definitely go back if I was downtown and looking for a place to watch a big game.

I had the whiskey glaze burger with a veggie patty and sweet potato fries plus a sparkling passion fruit drink. The food was delicious and came out hot. Things had started off slow however. My server was Shannon, and it took him 20 minutes to return with the single water I had ordered when I first showed up. Not sure what that was about, but after that initial issue, it was smooth sailing. I like that you can pay for your bill on the table screens, it made the process easy.

A little hard to have a conversation across the table. However, the food was wonderful. We arrived late in the afternoon on a Sunday & they were relatively busy. Yard House has been around for 30 years with tons of locations all over the U.S. This location is in the downtown Sheraton Hotel & of course being downtown parking can be a challenge. Yard House doesn't take reservations but they do have a Waitlist. Service was great...we were seated immediately & greeted by our friendly & attentive Server. Drinks & Apps came fast. We had the Fried Calamari & Miguel's Queso Dip to start. The crispy Calamari was nice & tender - served with two yummy sauces, a Spicy Tomato & a Roasted Jalapeño Tarter. The Queso Dip was good as well but we needed more of everything - dip, tortillas & chips. We had a couple of entrees. First, was a 20 oz Bone-in Korean Rib Eye with Grilled Shrimp & Chili Garlic Fries. This was a huge plate of deliciousness. The steak was cooked perfectly & marinated in a strong soy ginger marinade which I enjoyed. The Grilled Shrimp were a nice compliment & the Fries were spicy. In hindsight I should have chosen the Parmesan Mashed Potatoes as my side to balance out the dish better. Our second entree was Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, this was good as well - grilled chicken & creamy Alfredo. What a fun place to go with tasty food.

We stayed at the Brown Palace Hotel for four nights recently and had cocktails and dinner at the…read moreShip Tavern (located within the hotel) several times during our stay. It was mostly good, but with room for improvement. Starting with the good, the prime rib dinner was excellent. The rib was juicy and well prepared, the horseradish and au jus were up to the task and the duck-fat fried fries were pretty yummy. The creamed spinach was particularly good. It was a great meal. Our second meal, not so much. We had the lobster roll and pot pie. Even though they advertise the lobster as flown in fresh daily, it had obviously been frozen and indeed our server acknowledged that when we asked. It was OK, but nothing special. Likewise, the pot pie was merely OK. A large cheesy biscuit consumed most of the space in the bowl leaving little room for anything else. We only ate about half of it and sent the rest back. It was an OK meal, but paled in comparison to the prime rib the night before. At the bar one night we had the sticky chicken wings and Ceasar salad. The salad was particularly tasty with a good tangy dressing. The wings were a bit overcooked, but meaty and with a tasty sauce. And as advertised, the wings were really sticky and gooey. One needs to go find a place to wash up when finished. The bar is well stocked so getting your favorite libation is no problem. The food quality notwithstanding, the service was great. We enjoyed several different bar tenders and food servers during our stay and all were pleasant, friendly and good at their jobs. Kudos to them. Also great was the ambiance. The building dates back to the 1800s and oozes charm and character throughout. The bar and restaurant have a nautical theme, which one would not really expect in Denver. I read somewhere that one of the original owners had a model ship collection his wife didn't want in the house so it ended up in the restaurant. Nevertheless, it works. The walls are paneled in dark wood and the heavy tiled floors create a warm and comfortable environment. Overall, we loved the place and would happily return the next time we visit Denver. The bar was a friendly place, the drinks were good, the people were nice and our stay was pleasant.
