This place is ACES for any sporting event watch party with dozens or just a couple friends catching up while one is in town! They've got a great staff and fun atmosphere for all seasons. I'm not sure what team particularly lays claim to the bar because every time I've been there, it's been a rainbow of jerseys and cheers. If ya don't see your team on the tube, they'll be sure to set up a station for ya in quick time and without a hassle. Be sure to get there early so you have a seat to grab for the bigger events and home team games. The place gets PACKED, which is astounding since it claims to sit in 20,000 square feet with banquet capacity of 800 and reception capacity of 1200, according to Visit Denver! As for parking with such floorspace, it's downtown. The street parking is limited, metered. There is a small paid parking lot proximal and lots near the DAM which isn't a far walk. Honestly, there are always Ubers nearby; it's safer anyway, after a couple beers during a game. As for the food, it's bar food with some zest. You can find your traditional burgers and nachos, but with some flavorful options over just questions about cheese whether you want fries with that. The menu is both assorted and quite the volume to peruse, especially when it comes to shared platters, as well as veggie and vegan options... and TATER TOTS, which are my favorite. Stoney's is a sports bar chain with this one located right by the busy and happening street of Broadway. Like most other businesses in the area, parking is limited to street metered parking and paid parking lots. If you are looking to go catch a Nuggets, Avs, Broncos game, Stoney's is a solid choice if you want to be around other people that are as into sports as you are. They have some decent deals on drinks like beer buckets and such with average prices overall. The food is not half bad and what you would expect from food at a sports bar. The only thing I have to critique is that the service was very slow when I visited. I had a friend in from out of town who wanted to see the F1 race and I googled and Stoney's had it, so we went there. It was a Saturday early evening, and the place was busy, but we were able to get a table. They asked if we were there to watch anything in particular and they sat us by a TV that would have the F1. We had time to kill, so we came in about four hours before the race which is a long time to sit at a sports bar! But, they kept the drinks coming, it was friendly service, and we liked all of the food. We started with the cheese curds and smothered tots and I had a Birria grilled cheese. All of them were delicious and I might even go back just for the smothered tots. Great place to hang out if you want to catch an event. read more

The place to watch LSU! I found myself in Denver for a conference this October. While I am an Ole Miss fan, Hotty Toddy, everyone from work loves LSU. I too love to rep LSU as a Louisiana boy so we needed a place to watch the game. Enter Stoney's. We felt like we were back home in LA as the bar was packed with LSU fans. This location no longer shows UFC fights and that is only at the 17th St location now. For football and college games, this is the spot. It's so massively huge in here, there's usually a TV somewhere showing your particular game, just ask when you arrive but get there before the game starts, ideally. They tout themselves #1 as a Browns and Saints bar. Then I'd say they lean Broncos and one of the bartenders told me a decent amount of Ravens fans. I'm a Packers fan and they usually show the game there, too. Although it may or may not get the sound turned on. You'd have to call them and ask if you really want to hear the sound for your particular game. They have "game day specials" but they're just ok. Drinks are pretty weak. Sad about that. I never catch any kind of buzz after dropping a bunch of money here I'm still stone cold sober, lol. The food is alright for being bar food! This bar doesn't have bar hours. they close super early every day like 10 or 11pm or something So weird. I guess they make so much money before 10pm that they don't need to stay open... lucky them! They also have some fun activities and anniversary events that you can hear about if you sign up for their emails. They have happy hours and some days of the week specials. They super disappoint me though in some of their policies. For example, they have a burger special but when I was there for Monday Night Football, they didn't honor the burger special. Very cheap and shortsighted on their part. Just honor the special every single Monday since it's a Monday special. You don't wanna honor it if there's a football game on? Ok, then don't do the special on Mondays, ever. Either have it or don't have it. Don't pick and choose Mondays, it's inconsistent and confusing to customers. Also, I once asked if they order in their little computer handhelds extra pickles for my sandwich, how much their system says. They told me THREE DOLLARS!!! For an extra pickle? GTF out. I can buy a big jar of pickles for $3! Why would you try and abuse your customers like that! Fix your prices to make them fair and please pour more alcohol in your mixed drinks. My friends and I came here to watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints game. The TV setup was perfect for sports fans, with multiple screens showing a variety of games, which really elevated the experience. The food was average--not bad, but nothing special. Given how busy the place was, the service was decent, though understandably a bit slow. We ordered micheladas, but they didn't quite hit the mark. It can be slow at times because the place is packed and sometimes the servers don't really look around or check back fast enough. What frustrating is the menu is online and it's wrong most of the time. This time I ordered nachos it said it came with pickled jalapeno but was served with fresh. If you know your jalapeños you know fresh is way way hotter. I have ordered sandwiches and been told that they are removed from menu yet they'll make it for you and then it comes with an item you didn't expect or like. This place is great to watch a football game or 5. We went to watch several games that were on at the same time and they are so accommodating on seating you so you won't miss any of the action from any team you are trying to see it is great. I will say sometimes it does get very loud and you will find yourself having to yell to be heard by the person next to you. The service is usually pretty quick. I know it can be slow sometimes when they are super packed so I get that. I usually get wings when I come here but this time I decided to try the half order of ground beef nachos. They were covered in large sliced jalapenos. Between that and their green chile/queso they nachos were really spicy. If you don't like spice then I wouldn't suggest getting these. I really like Stoney's because it is a Browns backers bar, and I myself am a Browns fan. It's very fun to be around so many passionate people. The bar is massive, and generally when I'm here there are multiple groups of teams cheering for somebody. I have never had a complaint about the food, and often times they have a Cleveland beer in stock. I like that there is outdoor and indoor seating as well, to add to the space. Stoney's is hit or miss. Their servers come and go. Tonight a few of us were there. The drinks we ordered seemed to have very little alcohol in them. When we brought it up with Jocelyn our server, she was rude and snarky. We go there almost every week but the poor drinks and customer service tonight has us rethinking whether we want to return. There doesn't seem to be a coherent theme in the restaurant. Instead, the space is just maximized to seat as many people as possible, so if you dislike large, packed crowds, this restaurant is not for you. Despite the massive occupancy of this restaurant, the service was reasonably fast. However, the food was dismal. We had boneless wings, but they were pretty much just seasoned subpar chicken nuggets. Wow! First time in Denver and me and wifey wanted to watch the Niners on the first week of the NFL 2025. This place was packed!! But I must say it was an amazing experience, fans from multiple teams! As a football fan with a team from out of town, I have been coming here for years and it's a lifesaver on Sunday! They play every single game on the TVs and ask you which team you are looking to watch and seat you in that respective section. There is about five different rooms to watch games and each of the areas has a different game sound on Their wings are to die for! I highly recommend getting the stoney dry rub wings, and all the sauces that you would like to go along with it. On Sundays they have a NFL special for drinks and shots. One of Denver's biggest and hypest sports bar! If you live in Colorado or visiting from out of town, this is a must go to for sports. There are about 3+ huge bars within this building. As soon as you walk in security IDs you and directs you to the hostess stand to be seated. There is plenty and I mean plenty of seating and tons of TVs everywhere for sports. There truly is not a bad seat in the house. This is my go to during Denver Playoff times for the Avs & Nuggets and MMA fights. When you are seated it does take some time for servers to get to you, as this is a huge place. Once the server is notified someone is in their section you are good unless it's packed. Stoneys knows this so they actually have QR codes on the tables so you can scan and order more drinks & food if your server is swamped. This is a fantastic option, but know it doesn't activate until your server comes to the table. I wish it would sooner because the system ask for and stores your credit card on file to order food and beverages. Anywho, when you order through the QR code your food comes to the table extremely fast which is a super plus, your server is notified when it's drinks and they bring those to your table fast too. The food options are a lot and they are good. I have never missed with any of the food here. Good jambalaya, soup of the days, chili, burgers, chicken fingers, French dips, nachos, pretzel bites, etc shall I continue?! No matter what the bartenders and servers are great, at times some of the servers slack and have been caught chilling, but they must understand chill in the back because people are watching and your service designates your tips. Good service Great tips, poor service poor tips, but that rarely occurs unless it's not full. The staff are really cool and friendly, which is good and makes the atmosphere better. There is a nice mix of ages up in here too, not too old not to young, just fun loving sports fanatics. Because it's pretty standard bar fare, but bonus points for the Cleveland ties. --- --- --- My brother and I were in Colorado for the weekend and wanted to take a few years off of our life by watching the Cleveland Browns at a Browns Backers Bar. Stoney's was one of three in the Denver area and apparently the main one of the bunch. So we left early in the morning from Mount Princeton and headed into town. We ended up arriving really early - 10am for an 11am kickoff, but there was already a line out the door. We were glad we got there as early as we did because the main room for Browns fans filled up pretty quickly. There were 10-12 TVs in the room and a large projector screen, most of which, had the Browns game on. The projector screen was by far the largest, but was also pretty dim, so the picture was much better on the actual TVs. We ordered a bunch of different things to share and the Lincoln Riley is Dead to Me rolls were the best of the bunch. I don't know why the owner of this bar hates Lincoln Riley, but they sure do honor his name with a tasty treat. These are fried wontons with mac-n-cheese inside and they are pretty glorious. The wings and the pulled pork fries were what you'd expect from bar food. But the server was excellent as he had his hands full with a big portion of the room and was very attentive and friendly. Did the Browns lose by 23? Yes. Will I still be watching next week? Yes. Are Browns fans the best in the country because giant groups of us all meet at restaurants from coast to coast each week, only to be constantly disappointed? Yes. Absolutely the best sports bar in Denver! They have EVERY game and so many TVs that you'll never miss out on your favorite team. Also, the food is pretty amazing whether you want bar food or something on the lighter side. So much flavor and the serving sizes are generous. I'm a sucker for the XXX sauce on all you can eat Wing Wednesday. Inferno burger is another go to of mine and don't think the Caesar salad isn't packing as well (add buffalo sauce). I can't speak highly enough about the staff as well. I have been coming here for years and Steph is by far my favorite server (which is hard to say because they're loaded with the best wait staff). She's attentive and kind and funny and amazing. Make sure you hit up trivia on Wednesday when Micaela, the hostess with the mostest, hosts. She's entertaining to boot and truly it's the best trivia around if you want a good laugh, a high five for losing, and a bit of a mental challenge.
