Yard House says they have "Great Beer... with the world's largest selection of draft beer, Great food & Great Music". They play classic rock & it's loud. A little hard to have a conversation across the table. However, the food was wonderful. We arrived late in the afternoon on a Sunday & they were relatively busy. Yard House has been around for 30 years with tons of locations all over the U.S. This location is in the downtown Sheraton Hotel & of course being downtown parking can be a challenge. Yard House doesn't take reservations but they do have a Waitlist. Service was great...we were seated immediately & greeted by our friendly & attentive Server. Drinks & Apps came fast. We had the Fried Calamari & Miguel's Queso Dip to start. The crispy Calamari was nice & tender - served with two yummy sauces, a Spicy Tomato & a Roasted Jalapeño Tarter. The Queso Dip was good as well but we needed more of everything - dip, tortillas & chips. We had a couple of entrees. First, was a 20 oz Bone-in Korean Rib Eye with Grilled Shrimp & Chili Garlic Fries. This was a huge plate of deliciousness. The steak was cooked perfectly & marinated in a strong soy ginger marinade which I enjoyed. The Grilled Shrimp were a nice compliment & the Fries were spicy. In hindsight I should have chosen the Parmesan Mashed Potatoes as my side to balance out the dish better. Our second entree was Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, this was good as well - grilled chicken & creamy Alfredo. What a fun place to go with tasty food. read more

Walking the downtown streets of Denver, we got a little disoriented searching for a local taco shop we had looked for. For some reason our GPS would get reversed so as we thought we were walking to the taco shop we were actually walking away from it. Turned out for the best - we love the Yard House and a few of their offerings. Ironically, we only go to the Yard House when we are out of town. We have never been to one in Arizona. We were greeted immediately and had fun bantering with our host and another man who turned out to be a potential employee awaiting his interview. We were seated and met our server; a young man whose name currently escapes me. He was super friendly and got our drinks right out. We then placed our orders - my wife with some street tacos and me with my Two Pepper Jack burger and fries. It was relaxing and warm inside, so we enjoyed a brief break from the cold and the wind outside. Before we knew it our entrees were in front of us and some drink refills as well. Fantastic service and all of our food was delicious. We were able to get free from all of the noise of our convention and the sights of the city to actually relax and talk some future business and plan out the rest of our stay in Denver. After a long day of exploring Colorado, my friends and I didn't want to to put much effort into researching places to eat and looked for something close to our hotel. We were staying at the Hyatt Regency close by and decided to come here because it was walking distance. One of my rules of traveling is usually to steer away from chain restaurants, but we picked convenience and honestly, Yard House usually always hits the spot. This location is attached to the Sheraton in downtown Denver. We walked over so I can't speak on the parking situation. I got on the waitlist prior to heading over so we were seated right away. Bri was our server and she did a really great job taking care of us from start to finish. We started off with some cold drinks. One of the things I love about Yard House is that they have a really nice draft beer selection with their own stuff as well as a bunch of other local and domestic beers. They also have cocktails and wines. For an appetizer, I went the the calamari. It's one of my go to choices anywhere that has it and they did it right here. I treated myself with my entree and went with the 20 oz. Bone in Ribeye and Shrimp. The steak came out perfectly cooked to my liking and was seasoned just right. No sauce was needed. The shrimp was also cooked just right and a great addition to the steak. Not to be outdone by the proteins, the side of parmesan mashed potatoes and grilled broccolini were very good. Though we had great service, with the restaurant being so busy, we did have to wait a while to close out. No biggie when amongst great company. Denver is one my favorite cities to repeat visit so I am sure I will be back here at some point. read more

Enjoyed a late dinner here and loved the vibe! It's a busy, well maintained restaurant. At the time of my visit, the hotel was hosting a conference so the restaurant was completely packed. That didn't prevent our server from checking on our group often and keeping our drinks full. Our food and drinks arrived fairly quickly after ordering as well. I got a pineapple cider and an ahi tuna crunchy salad. The portion size of the salad was decent for the price and was well made. I do wish there were more slices of tuna for the price of the dish. And the Spicy Tomato Sauce with Horseradish accompanying it initially literally took my breath away. Sesame Shrimp Noodles mixed with Broccolini and disk-shaped Carrots were also spicy. Visited the Denver Yard House on April 9, 2026 and honestly had one of the worst service experiences I've had in a long time. We waited 20-30 minutes just to get a server to the table to even take drink orders. I ordered the spicy beef garlic noodles, took one bite, immediately told the server I didn't like it, and did not eat it. I asked for it to be removed and was still charged anyway. We paid $140 cash on a ~$120 bill and left a tip regardless. To make it worse, we accidentally left a to-go order and came back within minutes, literally like 3-4 mins only to find the doors locked even though staff were still inside. The manager Greg Gibbs told my boyfriend the food was thrown away. When I go to the door The manager refused to open the door or have any real conversation about what happened and spoke to us in a dismissive, unprofessional way instead of trying to resolve anything. We were also told there was a "$0.13 shortage" despite us OVERPAYING in cash, which just added to how ridiculous the situation felt. Overall: slow service, poor communication, no accountability, and extremely unprofessional management. Definitely not what you expect from a well-known restaurant chain. read more

Had to walk in here because it suddenly started raining outside. I've been a handful of times before but I typically avoid it because it's commercialism hell. I walked in to the first seat at the bar and almost immediately I am asked to move and totally ushered out of the way as if I have NO RIGHTS. Where I initially sat has empty seats all around, at least 2 seats empty to the right, 2 seats empty to the left. But, for some reason I was asked to move. And they didn't move me a few seats over, like 5-7 seats over, that bartender moved me about 20 seats over and around the corner. I was very confused. So, I asked him, "What was that all about?" and he says back "Oh there was a really drunk guy over there and we needed to get him out and I didn't want you to have to 'deal with that'". So, as a female you accept that answer, right. "Oh, he's 'protecting meeee'". Then as I ordered a drink and a bite to eat, and I look over wondering about this said "drunk person", this drunk man, who was SUCH a problem yet invisible multiple seats to either side from where I wanted to sit down, and I see absolutely no one. I see zero commotion. Those seats, my seat, remained empty 95% of the time I was there. Of course until shortly before I left and an older MAN sat in my exact seat but was allowed to remain and left alone to order as he saw fit. The couple 3 seats over in the corner where I first sat, no upset reaction, they didn't "have to move". No commotion. No drunk guy. What is going on here?? I think I was gaslighted. I think that bartender didn't want the front view blocked because they're putting their own personal, selfish preferences ahead of any customer (especially female) who walks in the front door. They just wanna people watch? Gawkers? They wanna save the front bar seats for the MEN as their #1 customers?! Really!?! If any person, or any female, is more comfortable near the door -- then you LET HER BE. Leave her alone! I swear I just wanna go back now for ONE drink every time I pass by it just to say, "NO, I'm not moving from my seat". And for what reason do I need to move, I'll ask. I've never been anyplace who's been so aggressive about my seat choice. I want to be where I felt most comfortable. I'd rather walk backwards next time I get rained on than to ever step another foot in this horrific establishment. But now there might be a new challenge and mission that forces me back. Also... french fries, you might think are impossible to screw up, but they did screw up the fries. They were sitting a LONG TIME before they ever arrived in front of me... grossly dried out and cold. Clearly premade and allowed to sit ad get disgusting before service. Like as commercial as this place is, you can't even make "fresh" oil-dropped french fries?? I never got a chance to tell my gaslighter server about the dried out chewy fries, because he seemed to be SOOOOOOOO busy moving food, people, and drinks around, or I would have. And when I asked for my check, the server *refused* to give me my check first and told me I *had* to pay first, unable to see the check. Usually I insist, as this is fair to get your check prior to payment, so why was I passive tonight, I do not know. We need to be able to say "I WANT MY PAPER CHECK FIRST". We have every right to review our bill before being charged for it. Servers & bartenders get paid at some of the highest hourly rates in Denver, comparable to the highest tech cities in the entire United States of America. It's insane. And they are some of the worst service experiences. On top of it he took my card up front! Then I had to rescan my card to pay, anyway. So why take my card from the start if you are going to make me take my card back out to pay anyway? Makes ZERO sense. Something, a lotta things, are REALLY wrong at Yardhouse. And let me say one last thing. Rather than call me a pet name like "honey, sweetie, love, darling" -- blah blah, yada yada -- just DON'T. When you're gonna screw me over. I was in town for work and had to have a cheeseburger, for #nationalcheesebirgerday! It was Thursday Night Football so it was a bit crowded, but we were able to get a hi-top table in the bar. Our bartender/server, Sean, was AMAZING! Our drinks were great...Strawberry Mule was so refreshing. We started with the Calamari which was disappointing. This Yard House is accessible from both the street and the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel. As many others have mentioned, it is VERY loud inside. We visited twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times our small group had to yell at one another to be heard. Two members of our group appreciated the "gluten" menu. While this is pretty common in most Yard House locations, this one has a printed menu as well (not just on the table top mini kiosk). All of our meals were pretty standard for a Yard House. I came here twice while in town for a conference. The first time was for a meet up event and our party had used the back room. I was late attended the event due to air travel so hit the very end and everyone was getting kicked out. I had just ordered a cider as the back room was told to clear out a minute afterwards. Had lunch at Yard House located inside the Sheraton in Downtown Denver, where we stayed at during our trip here. Though we entered from the Sheraton's lobby, we had to go to the actual entrance on 16th Street Mall to receive service and get a table. It was a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too busy, except for a few people here and there attending some kind of forum that was taking place at the hotel. We sat at a booth next to one of the windows, where we were given a food and drink menu to look over. I usually have a beer whenever I'm at Yard House, but I decided to try something different and ordered one of their cocktails. I ordered a Pink Dragon cocktail and my parents both ordered a Tangerine Cream Ale from Station 26 Brewing, which is one of their favorite beers that's brewed in Denver. Our appetizer was a huge plate of chicken nachos, which was topped with jalapeños, diced tomatoes, cilantro, melted cheese, and a dollop of sour cream and avocado. If you order this appetizer, I recommend picking the nachos up with a fork because it can get a little messy! It was big enough for the three of us to share together. For our entrees, I ordered a margherita pizza, my mom ordered an ahi tuna salad, and my dad ordered a chicken salad. It's been a long time since I ordered a pizza from Yard House and it was absolutely delicious. My parents enjoyed their salads, but both were too big for them to finish it. These entrees also paired perfectly with our drinks, and I do regret not ordering the Tangerine Cream Ale, because this is also one of my favorite beers. During my visit to Denver Colorado, one of the evening events for the conference I was attending to, was at the Yard House. The private event room inside the Yard House that was hosted in had a lot of people inside the room. There was pizza, chicken tenders and French fries that were offered, but instead of staying in the private room, several of my colleagues ended up going in the restaurant area and sitting at a table to order dinner instead. There were plenty of open tables on a Sunday evening around 8:00 P.M. We ended up eating at the Yard house from 8:00 P.M - 10:00 P.M. Inside the restaurant, there was a variety of TVs situated throughout the restaurant. There were several sports games playing at the time. The Yard House offers an extensive menu with a wide variety of options, including burgers, chicken, pizza, and pasta. Additionally, the menu offers a variety of appetizers, fresh salads, seafood, and even vegetarian and vegan dishes. With so many delicious options, it's easy to find the perfect meal! I ended up selecting the Philly Cheesesteak. For a drink, I decided to go with a soft-drink, Sprite. The team member came over and refilled my drink multiple times! The entrees arrived at our table around 30 minutes after placing the order! The Philly Cheesesteak was loaded with cheese! The steak was juicy and tender! The bread was fresh! I ended up saving the French Fries to bring back to the hotel room at the Hilton City Center. I would order the Philly Cheesesteak from the Yard House again! I normally order their truffle mac'n'cheese! The Yard House team member provided to-go containers for the food. The service was outstanding! First time to this location on Saturday night. You should know that it's in the Sheraton hotel, and if you use a navigation app to get there, it'll take you to the hotel, with no vision of a Yard House entrance in sight. We parked nearby, entered the hotel, and asked for directions. We turned a corner and saw the inside hotel entrance to the restaurant. From there, you snake your way through the restaurant to get to the front door and hostess stand, which faces an outside entrance we never knew existed. Even though it was 6:30 on a Saturday night, they weren't particularly busy, and our party of six was seated quickly. Having enjoyed the pork chop at the Lone Tree location on our last visit, I ordered it again. Like the first time, it didn't disappoint and is still the best pork chop I've had in a long time. My wife thought about a few different things and ended up going with the steak bowl, as did another at the table. She thought the bowl was good, but later commented the steak was a little tough. I'm not sure if she'd get it again. Others at our table enjoyed the steak filet, a burger option, and spicy noodles. All seemed impressed with their choices. The one hiccup of the night was that five entrees came out at the same time, with the noodles arriving several minutes later...only after our waitress passed by, noticed an entree was missing, and quickly retreated to the kitchen. A little bit later, a manager came out with the dish. While she thanked us for our patience, some form of an apology that didn't come seemed a bit more appropriate. Other than that one blemish, service was friendly and on point the entire night.
